A rainy day so I had lunch at the Haven. A very healthy and tasty tuna jacket with a simple fresh salad and a pot of Yorkshire tea. Friendly staff and a very popular place. Best of all, by eating here you are supporting St Nicholas Hospice.

Lovely cafe next to the library. The place I go to in Haverhill for coffee and lovely home made cakes. Light lunches are also very good. Nice courtyard at the back during good weather.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. I discovered this really lovely cafe this year, near the library in Haverhill. It really is a little gem. The hot chocolate is creamy & hot. The cakes are all homemade & so tasty. It had a pleasant & soothing ambience. The staff were very attentive & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend for friendly meetings with friends or even solo visits.

I discovered this cafe after going to the library, and now I will go no where else in Haverhill for lunch! There is a beautiful garden with seating outside. Everything is fresh and homemade. The cakes are gorgeous and large portions! The prices are so cheap too - I’m so glad I found this peaceful little gem. The staff are lovely too!

The Cafe is a lovely place set next to the library run by the local Hospice Care Charity, it's very peaceful in the garden which has some very pretty plants. The Café serves a selection of foods from sandwiches and paninis to scones and cakes as well as afternoon tea (pre booked only). I highly recommend a visit the food is very reasonably priced and of qreat quality.

Wow. This place was such an amazing find on our Xmas shopping day in Bury. Cosy cafe with just 4 tables inside and 2 outside. Beautiful food. The couple welcome you as soon as you walk in. We had a vegetarian meze. A falafel wrap. Taramasalata and bread. All delicious and well presented. If you visit during December, you will see their Xmas window display. You can't help but chuckle. Good value too.

What a friendly spot to stop for a simple lunch or a delicious homemade slice of cake or a scone! Perfect for coeliacs, too, with two choices of GF cake even though we arrived later on Saturday afternoon, which is the end of the week for this delightful cafe. We were served an enormous slice of Lemon and white chocolate cake and a bowl of hot Pea and Mint Soup, a coffee and a steaming china mug of tea, all for £9.50. But the value was actually in the lovely conversation we had with the ladies serving. If you have a chance, and are feeling peckish, I'd definitely drop in.
