Old school estate pub...Well worn & you have to give your vehicle reg inside or you will automatically get a parking fine. Played pool in the local league against a good bunch of lads & lasses. Drink wise not an ale pub but all the usual draught pumps & plenty of bottled

Helen, the land lady is fair, A few silly superficial girls attend but I put it down to their youth and values.

Went for a beer and a few weeks later have a letter for a parking fine for parking in there car park tried to fight this but not happening horrible experience and really hope others don't get caught up with a parking fine too 😔

The main boss Craig is a horrible man who treats his young staff appalling ! He shouldn’t be running pubs .

Played pool here recently in the local league against this typical estate pub...sells all the usual suspects drinks wise, has sky sports,pool table, everything a little bit worn but the locals don't bite & we had a laugh there

Called to pub after work with 6 men had a few drinks and few weeks later got parking fine. The letter didn't come until 14 days after the grace period so had to pay £100 instead off the £60. Will not be going back

Went for a pint with the lads from work. 1hr half hours, weeks later get a £60 parking ticket. And you can't get anyone to see why you have received it. when drinking in the pub,The car park is free. I was not told anything thing different the sign said customer only free parking. If they want to make more money of customer let people know then we will go elsewhere. We spent a lot of money in there that hr WELL OUT OF ORDER. I WOULD SAY GO ELSEWHERE ITS FREE TO PARK JUST DOWN THE ROAD. CHEQUERS. Houghton is a nice and friendly place this is the only pub that charges you to park and have a drink DISGUSTING SHOULD BE ASHAME OF THEMSELVES.

£60 car park ticket for picking up my mate - never coming back.

Had a beautiful well cooked meal with some lovely drinks. All the staff were friendly and helpful but especially bar tender/ waiter was so helpful and friendly! I think his name was Aaron he said it was his first day but he was amazing!

Nice pub and lovely staff , shame doesn't do food !

The girls that served us were very nice, the food was fine, just hope that the kitchen is cleaner than the restaurant which is filthy there were flies all over the food and in the dishes that held the sources I'm sure that they could of put covers over them. The toilets are disgustingly filthy won't be going there again. !!

I went where there was an event on. Music was very loud people had walked out because it was too loud. Generally I think it would be an alright pub

I had never been here before but received a friendly welcome at the bar. Everything about the place says they are making an effort to make it somewhere people will choose to go. It is clean, comfortable and sells real ale. I will go there again.
