Living locally I haven’t visited the Harrow for a while my family came to visit so we decided to lunch there. We were very pleasantly surprised the food was excellent and reasonably priced service good the young lady went out of her way to rearrange tables and make sure they didn’t wobble. The menu of chips with various toppings are huge and an excellent cheap lunch to share will definitely be going back

First time of going and we were very impressed. We all had the roast dinner, one vegetarian, two all meats and one had just one meat. Lovely big light Yorkshire pudding and seasonal veg plus extra side of cauliflower cheese. It was delicious and so much of it. The staff were very attentive and really friendly. We will definitely be visiting again.

We booked Burns Night dinner at The Harrow, it was the first time we have visited and we really enjoyed ourselves. We received a friendly and hospitable welcome from the staff and other customers and were directed to our table in front of a roaring fire. We had the set menu, a traditional Scottish line-up of Cockaleekie Soup, Haggis Neeps and Tatties and Cranachan, all quality ingredients cooked to a high quality. We also had a complimentary Scotch Whisky which went down well! In all a really memorable and enjoyable evening. THANKS!

Visited before Christmas and had the loaded fries with a side of onion rings. Although it said sharing, I decided that for the price, it would not be very big. I was very wrong! It was very loaded with pulled pork. The onion rings were huge as well, with a light crispy batter. I am allergic to egg and was reassured by the server that there was no egg in their batter. I instantly regretted not ordering the fresh fish and chips as it was an egg free batter. I was told the fish is delivered fresh every Friday morning. I got a 10% off voucher for use in January. So, I went again today. Instantly ordered the cod and chips and a side of onion rings to share with my friend. She had the Harrow burger. Neither of us could finish as hard as we tried because it was so good. That fish was lovely and moist, fried to perfection with a light crispy batter to die for. We had 2 lemonades and 2 coffees, and the bill with the food was under £40. True value for money. We had the same server as last time, who was friendly, efficient, and very attentive. Knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful with my egg allergy. I am going back later in the month with some colleagues. I only wish it was closer so I could try the great range of beers on tap. A true community asset!

This is quite possibly one of the friendliest pubs I have ever visited. Great staff and service that far excelled my expectations of a small Village / Country Pub. The food we had was not only plentiful but of outstanding quality and beautifully presented. I would not hesitate to travel that little bit further to visit this lovely Pub again.

Booked for their monthly Thai Night and wasn't disappointed this time. The shared starters is a must and the duck dish was cooked to perfection. The two Thai ladies have differently up their game.

Had a great Sunday lunch with great service at the Harrow, the team also made my grandchildren very welcome providing books for them to colour in as well as taking the time in their busy schedule to spend a little time with the children. Thanks to Sarah and her team for a very relaxing afternoon.

What can I say? Good, unpretentious pub grub. Can't knock it! Best mash I've had in ages, and all at a fair price.

Visited The Harrow today with family and friends and I must say it's was the best pub food I've had in recent years. The chips were crispy, the home made chicken pie had lots of chicken filling. For dessert I had the home made cherry and apple crumble. Lots of choice and a lovely homely pub.

This is the second time we've visited The Harrow in Stockbury in the last two weeks. First time for their Thai Evening which was on a Tuesday the abmostphere was perfect and great food. We've book again for the next one in January. We went again last night and we wasn't disappointed with the food or service. Also heard that the monthly Fish and Chip Night is very popular.

This is a very friendly pub. At first I thought it being a community owned pub would be a put-off; in other words just for locals (yer not from around here, grockle!) . Not a bit of it. It's a very welcoming place. Perfect pub grub, unpretentious but very tasty and satisfying.

We visited the Harrow last Sunday with friends for the Sunday roasts. We were definitely not disappointed. Between us we had most of the dishes and all of them were beautifully cooked with homemade yorkies and plenty of vegetables. The service from the staff on the day was attentive and friendly and the beer was kept very well. Thank you and we will definitely be back again to try more of the menu.

We turned up here without a booking hoping for a Sunday roast and weren’t disappointed. The plates were loaded, with tasty meat, excellent roast potatoes, five veg and Yorkshires, all very well presented and clearly cooked very attentively. The pub is tucked away in the tiny village of Stockbury, but isn’t far from the A249, M2 and M20 and well worth the short detour. Recently refurbished with a bright but still traditional vibe inside. This is a community-owned pub so needs plenty of support, but it has definitely earned it.

Excellent fish and chips. Prompt service. Great friendly atmosphere. Good to see The Harrow has a new lease of live since Gas (Chef) and Sarah (Head of House) took over the pub in November.

3 of us plus a small dog tried this pub a couple of weeks ago, food was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed it so much we booked for the following week with some friends for the Christmas meal. This was also excellent and the food was great quality and very tasty. Staff were just as friendly and helpful as the previous week although they were all different. Like that the chef also pops out to check if you are happy with the food and quality, don't get that very often anywhere else. Menu is also reasonably priced and have recommended it to other friends.

If your after a lunch with a bit more variety this is the place to be from sandwiches, wraps, rolls and baguettes, from a large selection of fillings, certainly get your money worth, and being close proximity to the college is always appreciated.

I was made aware of this lovely place from Visit Kent. Excellent coffee in a small friendly building with unusual decor. As well as cakes and snacks, there are items to purchase. Is was nice to be in a non chain coffee shop.
