Possibly the worst hotel I’ve had the misfortune to stay in for a very long time. For £134.00 you get a room with twin beds where the mattresses are so poor the springs almost propel to the ceiling if you dare to turn over. The floor of the room had strange disconcerting lumps under the carpet. The teaspoons had not been cleaned from the previous poor soul who was issued this cell. The shower doesn’t work, so instead of fixing it, they put a mixer tap in the bath, but the head bracket height is set for someone 5’0”. The room was located next to the stairwell, at the top of which a fire door with no soft close slammed shut all night, along with the footsteps going up and down the stairs and the paper thin wall led to a sleepless night. I didn’t try the restaurant, the menu was enough to put me off. All in all absolutely terrible and very expensive too!

A lovely greeting from reception and a pleasant surprise to find the pool table in the bar. My room was clean and well appointed with a very comfortable home from home bed and I slept well. The shower was good and the soaps provided were fragrant and fresh, breakfast however was lacklustre and there was a lack of urgency towards people who needed breakfast and needed to get going out. Around 10 people only were in the dining room and we all at some point had to wait for items to be replenished. The staff were painfully slow in all that they did, and there were huge gaps in the service. Watching business people become frustrated and inconvenienced by Items that had ran out was hard to watch. This cast a shadow over my stay as I ended up with an extremely poor and lacking breakfast and I would not return again.

Absolutely awful incompetence, giving out keys to already occupied rooms! We booked an overnight murder mystery stay with dinner. The charmless hotel receptionist twice gave us keys to rooms that were already occupied! The first room, I walked in on a lady in her underwear! Both rooms were opposite each other at the end of the longest corridor I've ever walked down in any hotel! So we had a wasted trek twice. The third and final room that was unoccupied... hallelujah! Was in the first floor, not ideal for my 75 year old mother! Still at least we got a room in the end. Further training wouldn't go a miss for the receptionist team who were not sympathetic or even trying to be any other than cool and emotionless! Food was ok, no complaints there.

The rooms are normal, clean, clean bed and towels, two comfortable pillows and comfortable mattresses, there is a kettle for tea and coffee. There is no closet, just a hanger at the entrance, but that's enough for a couple of nights. The bathroom has shampoo, hair conditioner and lotion. Hair dryer. The water is very soft and the soap cannot be washed off the body. Carry adapters for sockets with you if you come from Europe! There are only two sockets at the table. There are none near the bed. There is a bar at the reception and a small restaurant that can modestly feed you, but it is only open until 22:00. Breakfast is modest but you will be full. The hotel is an hour's drive from London. Paid parking. Polite and helpful staff at the reception will always help. The corridors are very long, so I advise you to check the key card before going to the room so that the card can accurately open the room.

I recently stayed at an Accor hotel for three nights, booking two rooms, and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, hygienic, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was pleasant. Its convenient location near both London and Stansted made our travels easy and stress-free. Travelled on a coach holiday in London with Alfa. The hotel was quite modern , despite outward appearances. The food was lovely with a choice of something for everyone. Perhaps warm plates would be the way forward. All the staff were very courteous and helpful. The bedrooms were cleaned well. Maybe signage for direction if you wanted a change of towel instead of clean ones every day. I have given two stars for location because of it's isolated position without the use of a vehicle and also the horrendous journey to and from the City of London. I am not sure about the resolution of an issue I had regarding a personal item as I am still awaiting a reply from Roger at the Hotel.

Hard working staff are on hand to answer any query we may have. All staff go out of their way to make our stay relaxing and pleasant. Food has been excellent with a really varied menu. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. If I can find any fault, then it would be the 3 steps on the way to ground floor rooms. We have a wheelchair user who has to get out of the chair and struggle down the steps. Her carer has to lift the wheelchair down. Could these steps not be replaced with a ramp? Or maybe a portable ramp which could be placed over the steps when needed then placed back onto a wall bracket. Roger, the manager went out of his way to make our stay just perfect. Nothing was made to wait. I have to also give a shout out for the lovely restaurant staff. So very helpful. So friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Well done everyone. You're doing a fantastic job.

1st time here, stayed one night, reception staff very friendly and helpful, thanks for the help with my bags to my room. Room was very clean with everything i needed good shower and bath good products. I had breakfast in the morning again the staff friendly and hapoy to help. All together a really pleasant stay and great value for money. I would also recommend this hotel for anyone like myself who is travelling via Stansted Airport but a nice place to stay anyway

Been having a great stays at the Harlow Hotel Staff are very welcoming and rooms are nice and clean, we been staying on and out for a couple years now and been having a nice buffet breakfast with Thanks to Blauca who is always helpful. Great place to stay with good transport links and lots of parking.
