Food no longer served , local pub, accessible building, clean toilets, plenty of parking, shops nearby , landlady is a delight

Visited the Hare & Gate to attend a family party. I don't live local so it was my first time visiting. The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. They even began to remember my orders of drinks straight away! There is WiFi available at the bar and plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your time there. The drinks were reasonably priced especially compared to other bars I have visited recently.

Nice community pub with friendly staff. Lots of events run from here including bingo, kids bingo and fairs. There's no charge to hire the back room for parties and events.

Most definitely a Sports Bar, with Large TV, Pool Table and a Dart Board. Some well kept beers and a friendly welcome from the locals. With a good chat going on as we entered and very soon involved in. Lounge at the rear of the building was shut when we called in, but held some good memories for me of joining my Aunties and Uncles for weekend drinks many years ago.

Theres a game night on mondays in the back room, from 6:30 onwards. Great vibes and kind staff.

Never have an issue in here. Decent pub decent ale. Not the best but nowhere near the worst. Good pub
