Michelle in the play area was absolutely amazing ,she helped us with our order and made sure everyone was happy with their food. She approached us with a smile and kindness.

Stayed at the premier inn next door and had breakfast here every morning, food was lovely and good value. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Staff not very friendly and total confusion over food being given to wrong table despite having numbers.

Food was very good only issue had was onion rings well over cooked and not very nice could only eat a couple

Had the saver fish and chips was awful thought it would be just a smaller piece of cod or haddock,but it was pollock tasted awful and was under cooked the only saver bit was using cheap fish wont go back there anytime soon.

It's a nice place to bring your kids, meet friends and have a tasty bite. The play area is pleasant. It can be quite noisy but that's understandable. We love the Sunday carvery, it's comforting and nice

Decent enough food, standard for a chain pub. Good facilities for the kids with a small soft play area that has tables with table service if you want to have a family meal while the kids are entertained - it's the main reason we come here. Service can be a bit slow at times.

Had a pizza but t wasn't very nice, straight out of the freezer so disappointing, staff helpful and supportive

We went for a cheeky pint after work, ended up ordering some food, which was superb, we arrived at shift change so there was an initial wait to be served but after that it was exemplary!

Disinterested Staff, very poor service. Absolutely no attempt to actually do their job properly. Stacked chairs around us whilst chatting and studiously ignoring us. We did not get everything we ordered and paid for.

Have been coming to soft play/messy play on Thursday mornings regularly for a while now. Michelle is fantastic, always approachable and creating an enjoyable environment for the small ones. Will forever keep returning just to see her 😊❤️

Amazing breakfast once again! Great staff, great food, great value! Chelsea and her team were as welcoming and helpful as always yesterday. We also visited Saturday 17th Aug when the restaurant was full but Chelsea and team were replenishing everything in minutes and our 3 children had a great experience with so much choice of delicious food. Thank you for making us welcome and for the great breakfast experiences! Particularly great value as children eat free!!! 😊

Food was okay price for play area is ridiculous as this used to do free the play area is tiny but the lady who served us was lovely only her name was michelle she has grey hair and warm smile and amazing with the kids went back the week after and the service was not good no conversation or checking that eveything was okay

Claimed my free birthday main with a friend. We then had desserts as both our birthdays were close to each other. Service was slow but gave us a chance to catch up. Food enjoyable

Love the experience, and it is also children friendly.

The main problem I had is that they ran out of meat for the carvery at 3:30pm when we arrived for the carvery - now carvery times are 12pm - 6pm -this shouldn't really be happening just over halfway through the carvery service. They need to consider people who would be arriving later I think.

Visited here on 18th August 2024 We arrived at 9:20pm for food When we ordered at the bar the staff was clueless said they are serving good so we ordered The manager, who was really rude and not polite told us we can't sit in the restaurant area without even asking us if we ordered food or not ( no communication wat so ever) We asked for one of the meals to not contain no onions or salad on the burger and it came with all salad and onions No allergy requirements where asked The manager was wearing her sunglasses on her head and swearing on the phone whilst on bar facing customers ( so unprofessional) When food arrived, there was hardly any katsu curry sauce on the meal for the price that your paying aswell Tables messy and unclean Staff are rude, no one was there to sit us down or greet us We are in premier in and this is rude customer service

Came in for breakfast last Monday and was seen to straight away by Sam. He was friendly and professional and made us feel very welcome. Also have to give credit to the chef Ryan who cooked everything to perfection! We will be back - thank you

Booked a table for ten for my daughters 4th birthday. Ordered oour food 17:50 to then get notified at 19:10 that they had for got about us. Ruined my daughters birthday shall never go back there.

Its a lovely spot for a family Saturday buffet. Its has an array of delicious English breakfast and is worth its price of admission.

I was staying in the Hotel next door. Breakfast was very tasty, I don't normally eat cooked breakfasts and was enjoyable. I had two evening meals which I also enjoyed. The Tai curry on my first night and on my last night I decided on the Gammon with egg and pineapple. Friendly and helpful staff.

Called in yesterday 9-7-2024 immediately met and showed to our table by a very polite and friendly Mitchell who couldn’t have been more helpful when ordering our food the food was very good hot and fresh dessert was delicious but the whole experience was great thanks to Mitchell will definitely be coming back

I had to wait ages for the drinks to arrive at the table and it wasn't busy as this was midweek. Food, well the fish pie was tasty but so much sauce! My burger with cheese on the top, without the bun looked like the cat had got there first. Certainly no cheese in the cheese and the burger is chewy. We didn't enjoy it but the cheesecake and ice cream was better. One of my gripes about the menu is there aren't any prices for the beers actually on the menu. You have to go to the bar and look hard to find the pricelist. The manager shrugged her shoulders and said it didn't have prices as they were changing while the menu was being compiled. How about putting another flyer out or even adding a sticker on the menu, and making sure it can be wiped, oh, and reminding the staff to wipe the menus as I hate having a menu that has sticky fingermarks from previous guests. Remember COVID? As we were staying at the Premier Inn, there wasn't any other place to walk to other than McD's so the second night we had the fish and chips. That was much better. The breakfast was nice too.

went for a family meal before I give birth in less then 6 weeks and the food was under cooked and uneatable the manger was like it's all set at one temperature for the food and pre made before hand I'm 34 weeks pregnant and my pie was cold the chicken was pink and you could taste it was undercooked

Wow .... What a terrible place. Table booked for 4 for a Birthday celebration. Told at the bar, No pints of peroni was being served except if you ordered a meal deal..To be honest we ourselves are in the Hospitality Business, so you can't order a pint of Peroni unless your eating,of which we were. However we could have brought a pint of Peroni x 2 bottles @ 4.95 per bottle...ouch that's extortionate. Dunno maybe we were discrimated as we are Travelling Showman ( funfair people) Who knows my

Not the best premier inn breakfast. The food is ok, better than other breakfast in the area. But, not as good as the one at Premier Inn in the city.

Father's day- was running late due to an emergency called the restaurant they went above and beyond to keep our booking moving other bookings, general manager was awesome Excellent customer service by staff as well

Kevin is all ways every helpful and happy to help us if we book a table and when we get there we not happy with where it is he will all ways find us a table we happy with and if we just trun up to see if they have a table he will all ways try and finds us one he is all ways happy yo help where he can

Can’t understand this place. I’ve never been here where they haven’t taken forever and messed up half the orders. Loads of staff standing around but none serving, food takes forever, anything we changed on the orders completely ignored. I understand as a one off of course, but it is just the norm here every time we come. Also absolutely boiling, struggled to eat hot food when it was so hot, and was told the aircon doesn’t work by one staff, then just before we leave it’s turned on! Kids love the soft play though. And waitress was lovely, think she was from the play bit.

Got to pub to be told 45 minute wait which was fine, then stood in line where female manager was serving then walk off, to then be served by another manager who made a joke about me being basically a dinasour asking for anything like a smirnoff ice, and advised me to have cherry cider, which is nothing like vodka, and we ordered food to then sit down after paying to the be told my food had run out, as I was put on spot to pick another meal, young waiter offered to come back, however he didn't so I went and found him to give him my order, he then came out with mealsand something totally different on what I'd ordered a second time saying it was his fault he hadn't told chef my order I refused food and asked for what I'd ordered to then wait again, my party had all finished food, and I was asked again how I wanted my steak, finally I got my food and sat there eating it while others had finished and was ready to leave, I should of complained at time however others did because of problems and didn't get anywhere I won't be returning

Came here to take advantage of the soft play on a rainy day during half term, soft play is brilliant with seating close by to keep an eye on kids. Food you get what you pay for.

Came in for the advertised cocktails after eating elsewhere. Cocktails not available due to "low stock". OK, can we have two glasses of Merlot, a Prosecco and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc please. "Sorry we're out of Merlot and Sauvingnon Blanc."

I was told they were not taking walk ins. So I made a reservation online and they turned us away as they had no chefs. They should have switched off the bookings or advised there were no chefs to begin with. Appalling really. No signs on the door or anything

Absolutely banging roast dinner!! Amazing value for money, and I’ll be honest probably one of the best roast dinners from a chain restaurant in Peterborough :) Will definitely return!!!!

Had breakfast here. The selection is very good for a buffet style breakfast. Staff were valiantly trying replenish things as they ran out, due to the volume of people eating. We didnt wait too long dor anything. Staff were brilliant. Despite working hard and it being very busy, nothing seemed too difficult or a bother for them. Kids eat free too, which is a huge bonus.

Nice place with lots of free parking 🅿️ Staff were nice and you get served pretty quick. The food was very tasty my mixed grill was delicious however the 55 min wait for food was very disappointing and therefore reflects the 3/5 rating. Some tables got there meals after we had ordered and the table next to us 1 person got their meal then after he finished the other got theirs after 55 mins we were ready to leave but it eventually did come out and was tasty and hot but 55 mins waiting just was too long

We have often eaten at the Hampton and never had a bad experience the staff are friendly and very helpful, especially the manager Kevin who always accommodates our large family. He always goes above and beyond. If I had a minor quibble it would be that some tables are too close and it can be difficult to push the chair in and out. Thank you to the staff of the Hampton.

Food was fair for the price, mixed grill was tiny tho and streak almost all gristle. not many people there, so the atmosphere was relaxed. Charlotte was very friendly and food was brought out promptly and a good gap before doing the sat check. Clearing was a bit slow. There are better places locally but not many. Generally happy with our visit.

Would definitely recommend the Sunday carvery here! There is a good selection of meat to chose from, and veggies too, even for the fussy kids like mine, they cater for it all. Normal menu is still open too which gives great choice. Service is always warm and friendly.

TERRIBLE MEALS Probably the worst meals we have had for many years. We use the Hampton on a regular basis and have been going there for over 20 years enjoying family get togethers and major birthday events so know the place well and, with the odd exception, have enjoyed our visits. The front of house staff are really friendly and efficient with special mention of Sam, Kelly and kevin (the manager). The week before last we ordered sirloin steaks (rare) but when it arrived it was so overcooked it was tough and inedible. We pointed this out and there was no problem in the meal being returned and fresh ones delivered but, unfortunately, they turned out the same. We also note that portions of chips etc were about half the size as they had been (obviously a cost saving instruction from HO). We were credited with the cost of the meals. This last Friday we decided to try again but this was worse. Ordered haddock and chips etc as it looked so appetising on the Menu – it came out nothing like. Instead of golden it was dirty brown and greasy looking. When we tried it was completely dried out from being overcooked and was inedible again. Meal returned and a fresh order of something we knew was normally ok, chicken and ribs. Another disaster – one of the ribs was completely burnt and dried so much the meat was impossible to get off the ribs and the other one was not much better. The chicken and salad was ok but we did not try to return yet another meal (how does the restaurant make a profit?). I can only guess that the kitchen staff have no interest in their work. Its clear that they do not have any interest in what leaves the kitchen as they only have to look at what they are serving to see that it’s not acceptable. All this happens late afternoon before the place gets busy. I believe that the only reason it survives is because its attached to a Premier Inn. Great shame.

Great atmosphere for the kids with the soft play centre, food tooked over an hour to come out and some of was cold the hot drinks didn't come to its standard the only best thing was the soft play centre for the kids don't come here!!!

If there as an option for 0 stars then I would rate 0. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!. SERVICE FOOD AND CLEANLINESS IS APPALLING. Microwaved food frozen food defrosted and gone off, beer was flat glasses were dirty staff are rude and treating the bar like a girlie catch up knowing you’re waiting whilst they prance around chatting with no apology. No proper management in kids area kids running riot no proper staffing. After sitting for two hours our mains came dried flat chicken cold chips. Chicken burger with a rotten Avacado which had been frozen and defrosted and mushy to the touch and nachos which had no cheese on them as they cannot heat the cheese as it has sour cream on top. My 8 year old daughter can cook better than that. Food standards are being made aware as it was and actual concern for people’s welfare what they are actually eating!! YUCK non nutritional microwaved food.

The breakfast buffet priced at £9.99 per person here is really good value the food is of good quality in it and there is always plenty to choose from like bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, beans, black pudding, eggs, bread (white, brown and seeded), crumpets, English muffin and a selection of pastries as well as cereal and fruit. This also includes coffee tea and fruit juices, on week days the buffet is running till 10:30 abd on weekends it runs till 11:30. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are very friendly and welcoming as you would expect it can be busy as it's connected to the hotel nextdoor but there is always enough seating for everyone. The food on offer throughout the rest of the day matches the same quality as the breakfast and there is always good offers on as well as seasonal offers like mothers day meals and valentine's day meals as well. Also there is a play area for kids which seems to be well enjoyed by all who visit it. The parking is always available with more than enough spaces for everyone and can be validated in the restaurant for free for 3 hours which should be enough time for most people who come visiting.

Had a sunday roast. It was marvellous! most of the services is self-service. The service we did receive was polite and with a smile. A special mention to the crispy parsnips and roast potatoes. Enjoyed thoroughly as did the other members of the party.

In an entirely empty restaurant my father and I where sat right next to a family with loud small children. Ruined my appetite, couldn't finish breakfast, left the place still hungry. Do not recommend
