Very good food at a reasonable price

The salt and pepper box is a rip off, it used to be OK. But hardly anything inside anymore. Not good value at all, all food gone down hill fast. Always used to use this place. But after the last 6 orders food getting worse and portions getting smaller it's now time to find a new take away. Shame as used to be a gud place

Great food, reasonable prices. The wait time can sometimes feel like forever but no fault to them as obviously food takes a while to cook, depending on the size of the order. Friendly people, always great their customers with a smile

Took 70mins for order to arrive. All food was luke warm and needed reheating in microwave - chips do not reheat well, nor does crispy shredded chilli beef, hence meal awful. One item ordered was incorrect. Called Chow Chu Chin to share my disappointment. Was told nothing they could do as we'd eaten the food. I stated if it had taken that long for first delivery, I wouldn't be prepared to wait a further 70mins, so had no choice but to eat it! Incredibly poor service to a loyal customer - won't be wasting my money again!!

Ordered a salt and pepper box from these guys this evening. The guy on the counter was brilliant and polite. He even got the chef to do my egg fried rice with soy sauce and I really believe you should adopt this practice has it was one of the nicest egg fried rice I had in a long time. The salt and pepper box was also fantastic nice ribs chicken balls and chips .fantastic thank you

Been using these for a few years now book food for a time on ordering and they just send when they feel like it waste of time not happy

The tastiest part of this meal was the salt that I put on. Absolutely no flavour and no taste whatsoever, took nearly an hour and a half to arrive when it did come it was only just warm and tasted like it had been stewed for the time from when I ordered it . Order was wrong, asked for salt and pepper chips was told I could only change order once but when arrived had the salt and pepper chips but no rice. Part of the meal was chicken but there was more chicken skin than actual chicken meat avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Couldn't have an order unless i had cash and website didnt work. Was told to try somewhere else. Not impressed

Good value, properly tasty, the portions are well sized with quality ingredients and it was delivered on time. Its one of the best Chinese take aways I've had in quite a while.

I purchased this for delivery on the website it quoted 45 minutes & the order took 70 minutes. I was very disappointed food was just warm chips looked & tasted like they had been reheated. Chicken balls were rubbery & looked like they weren't cooked properly rice was stoggy

Nothing worse than finding a nice chunk of chicken in your vegetarian tofu dish!! This mistake should never happen when something is ordered from the vegetarian part of a menu! So be aware if you’re a vegetarian/vegan. They clearly cross contaminate their dishes for this to even happen.

Nice people and nice food just wish they had a vegan set menu for 2 people its 2021 now plz change and update to the world

Waited two and a half hours and then got undercooked bland food, this place has gone downhill massively

Had a lovely meal excellent received it hot on time and worth every penny. Ordered a few weeks ago and had same meal was great then. Will order again if they had bad reviews in the past they have turned it around. So I give 5 star keep it up.

Been using for years. Prices are on the high side, food isn't what it once was. Inaccurate deliveries added to drivers who on occassions have an attitude. Wouldn't use again

I have been using this place for years and it use to be good (see my old review), however it has gone down hill rapidly. Orders are wrong, food is poor, customer service is nonexistent. They don’t care once they’ve got your money in their til....AVOID AT ALL COST... there are a lot better Chinese restaurants out there....

After using these for a few years I was shocked to receive bad service on the last few orders with incorrect food being serviced and then spoken to with an attitude and no apology. I live close enough to walk and collect but still have to wait 45mins for my order and that's outside of peak times! On my last order they gave me a completeley different set meal and told me I must have ordered it wrong... They wasn't really interested so I had to return the food for a refund! Safe to say I will no longer be using you!!! A simple apology and some fresh food and I would have happily gone on my way! Just a shame to think you don't need your costumers

Used to be good. Now serves cold incomplete orders. Very disappointed

Been ordering from Chow Chu Chin for ages however recently they have been delivering our food and missing some of our order. When I called them to correct this they told me I can have it next time I order. Why would I want it next time I order when I’ve ordered it now? Also they tried to tell me I was lying when I said certain items of food were missing from the order. They kept over speaking over me on the phone and wouldn’t let me explain. I have never ever met people so rude. Won’t be use these again! If you’re thinking of ordering from here, don’t! Go elsewhere!!

I've been using them for a few years now and the food is good, the staff are nice and it's responsible priced. What more can you ask for from your local Chinese takeaway....? There has been 1 time I wasn't satisfied with a particular dish, phoned up and they were happy to replace straight away or on the next order. No one gets it 100% right 100% of the time.

Absolutely fantastic experience every time I come here, they make the best food and have the best staff, would not recommend any other Chinese takeaway

Been customers for years, all of a sudden the service is shocking!!!

This tends to be my local Chinese. It runs a loyalty scheme where you receive a stamp for every £10 spent. Collect ten stamps and you get £10 off the next order. I always find the food good, but they do hold back on the crispy shredded beef should you happen to order that dish!

We have used Chow . . Chu . . Chin . . . From the first day it opened . . . The food was the best we have ever tasted . . . . . We have sent all our friend's there . . . . But Now It's not the Same . . . . . In Fact out of 10 it's Now zero . . . . . . . .

Ordered and were told would be an hour until delivered. Received a couple of phone calls from the driver (he took over 40 mins to get to us). I can get to their takeaway in 8 minutes from my house. I dread to think where he had gone to, but we were desperate for food as nothing in the house and after almost 2 hours from ordered, our kids were hungry. We called the takeaway to complain but they didn't want to know. The food was cold and we all know how terrible cold Chinese is! Sooo disappointed!
