Best experience at the halfway house in Earlsfield! Shane made us the most amazing cocktails - best I've tasted in years and was so welcoming, he really went the extra mile

We really enjoyed our first trip to HH! Food was tasty, vibe was great, and Maylie at the bar was helpful, funny, and friendly. We will be back often!

Hired the private dining room for no cost (just a deposit that was taken off our bill). It was the perfect space to do our small baby shower! Eve and the team were amazing and super flexible/helpful. Food was served in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

The Halfway House never disappoints. The food is always of a high standard and the staff are incredibly welcoming and knowledgable. The manager Eve, goes out of her way to check you have everything you need and always has a smile on her face. Absolutely love this place.

We had Sunday lunch for 18 people on 9 March. The pre-order service and hospitality on the day were superb. I would highly recommend the Halfway House for an enjoyable dining experience.

The Halfway House, halfway along Garratt lane (either way, I guess) is part of the Young's offering and it looks great . The pub is right next to Earlsfield overground station. Great service from the smiley staff. Great beer, as we may expect from Young's. London Original and London Special on cask along with a good selection of keg beers. A bright open feel to the place with a couple of conservatories. Great fun!

Im giving 5 stars for past experience the team are awesome. This was disappointing. We had a table booked for 4pm but we couldn't make it till 4.30. I called 3 times without any answer. And I sent an email. But even with all that we arrived and our table had been given away. And no one really cared. We just had to leave and go home. Shame

We had Sunday lunch here and it was great! It was just after the rush so we were easily able to find a table (I suspect this is somewhere you should book to guarantee a table on a Sunday) and the place felt warm and comfy. I really like the decor in this place. There’s one table under in the conservatory which had a large group including kids and looked a really nice group space. I wasn’t drinking as I was driving so just had a coke. We had roasts (chicken and beef). I had the chicken and it was delicious. Some cracked pepper on the skin and a good portion size. The yorkshires were good. The carrots were yummy. Perfect amount of gravy. This is an art they have perfected. The beef was equally good although the dish came out just above warm as opposed to piping hot but it wasn’t an issue enough to complain. It also tasted great and had a thick slice of beef. The atmosphere was good in the pub and service was quick and friendly. No one came during our meal to check if it was ok but when the food is this good I suppose it’s a given 🤣 I would definitely go back. Great place

Had a wonderful Sunday roast here with my friends. Coming from a bunch of different countries, we wanted to experience English food and this was an amazing place to do it. Amazing food, amazing service and the atmosphere was incredible.

Beautiful neighborhood pub with amazing food and even better staff. Met Joey who was so friendly! Greeted us with a huge smile and you just can’t help but smile back! We had reservations and Joey walked us a few steps to a little built in atrium with lots of light because of the big windows! My wife and I shared 2 mains, Sunday roast and fish and chips of course! Both were delightful! Roast beef with gravy, potatoes, carrots and parsnips with Yorkshire pudding! Omg it was good. Fish and chips with Haddock was also great! Crispy coating! Fish was tender! Tartar sauce was homemade as far as I could tell and was perfect! The chips were double fried I’m sure…crispy on the outside and soft and potatoey on the inside! A wonderful meal! Thank you Joey and HH!

Been coming to this pub for 8 years… and this Saturday - the fish and chips was just epic. Perfectly cooked, not overdone, great portion, and crispy chunky chips. Chef, whatever you did today please repeat it when I come back…

Recently went to the Halfway House for dinner and was thoroughly disappointed. The staff are great and so is the wine list but we ordered a few things from the starter menu and they were actually inedible. Won’t be going back for food.

Vinimos a tomar una copa al comienzo de nuestro paseo por Earlsfield, reviviendo nuestra juventud cuando vivíamos aquí hace 30 años! Volvimos al final de nuestro paseo y tuvimos el desayuno más delicioso - lo mejor que hemos tenido en siglos. Interesantes toques como champiñones al ajo y huevos servidos en la tostada, además de deliciosos hachís crujientes. El menú de cócteles era genial con un montón de opciones originales. El personal era relajado, amable y muy servicial. La decoración es hermosa. ¡Planeamos volver!

My first ever visit to the pub. Pub was spacious enough. The staff were friendly enough, didn't have any food had a couple of beers which were average for London prices. Pub was ideal for travel purposes, earlsfield station is on top of the pub. Would I visit the pub again probably if I'm in the area. No complaints from me.

Very impromptu visit as we walked past for one drink. Which turned into an evening as the drinks and staff were worth it. Big thank you to Josh who hosted us, gave great recommendations, and for making a mean margarita! See you guys soon

I came in off the street to see if there was any space left for the England game which kicked off just over an hour later. Despite being busy the barman Josh and his colleagues made a big effort to move some tables and put my name down. When I came back Josh and the staff not only remembered me but made me and my friend feel they were happy we returned . Great service continued throughout what was a very busy afternoon for the staff. Great lager and atmosphere. A huge thanks to Josh and the staff!

Lovely looking inside and out. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Food small but very tasty. We reserved the conservatory for a birthday and the sharing platters were tasty too and presented beautifully. London prices for food and drinks are still a shock but I think they're about the same here as anywhere else locally. Would definitely recommend.

Went for Father’s Day and had never been before. Food was great, a good kids menu and the veggie roast was delicious. All of the staff were lovely but particularly Reece! Great experience- will be back for sure.

Edd crafted an exceptional Margarita and Amaretto Sour for me. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was top-notch. His skill and attention to detail truly made for a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Definitely the best breakfast I've had in Earlsfield! Well worth a visit.

The recent refurbishment has really elevated the place! The outdoor space is a real sun trap, and given how close it is to the road side, the noise isn't disruptive and you feel quite private. Service is good; but especially love the dog station - water, water bowls, treats and on some days tennis balls!

We had an absolute blast at the Halfway House last night! Great atmosphere, very friendly and smiley team, and great selection of drinks and cocktails - my other half loved her spicy margarita! We will definitely be back - lovely little gem in the heart of Earlsfield.

Hands down one of the best breakfasts I've had in London. They also had a special cocktail for the bank holiday - went down really well.

Sunday roast was great! Crispy pork belly or chicken or if course, beef.

As of today, the only vegetarian option on their menu is a salad. It's like being back in the 1990s.
