Absolutely wonderful, lovely service, pub quizzes and filled with small children, lovely for young families. 100%r recommend

We came for fish and chips and it was great. American was very hot how o like it, but a tad too generous on water.

Beautiful neighborhood pub with amazing food and even better staff. Met Joey who was so friendly! Greeted us with a huge smile and you just can’t help but smile back! We had reservations and Joey walked us a few steps to a little built in atrium with lots of light because of the big windows! My wife and I shared 2 mains, Sunday roast and fish and chips of course! Both were delightful! Roast beef with gravy, potatoes, carrots and parsnips with Yorkshire pudding! Omg it was good. Fish and chips with Haddock was also great! Crispy coating! Fish was tender! Tartar sauce was homemade as far as I could tell and was perfect! The chips were double fried I’m sure…crispy on the outside and soft and potatoey on the inside! A wonderful meal! Thank you Joey and HH!

Recently went to the Halfway House for dinner and was thoroughly disappointed. The staff are great and so is the wine list but we ordered a few things from the starter menu and they were actually inedible. Won’t be going back for food.

We popped in for a quick drink at the start of our wander around Earlsfield, reliving our youth when we lived here 30 years ago! Came back at the end of our wander and had the most delicious breakfast - best we’ve had in ages. Interesting touches like garlic mushrooms and eggs served on the toast, plus lovely crunchy hash browns. Cocktail menu was great with lots of original options. Staff were relaxed, friendly and very helpful. Decor is beautiful. We plan to return!

My first ever visit to the pub. Pub was spacious enough. The staff were friendly enough, didn't have any food had a couple of beers which were average for London prices. Pub was ideal for travel purposes, earlsfield station is on top of the pub. Would I visit the pub again probably if I'm in the area. No complaints from me.

Very impromptu visit as we walked past for one drink. Which turned into an evening as the drinks and staff were worth it. Big thank you to Josh who hosted us, gave great recommendations, and for making a mean margarita! See you guys soon

I had a very nicely put-together ceasar salad. A much better experience than in many places I've visited.

I came in off the street to see if there was any space left for the England game which kicked off just over an hour later. Despite being busy the barman Josh and his colleagues made a big effort to move some tables and put my name down. When I came back Josh and the staff not only remembered me but made me and my friend feel they were happy we returned . Great service continued throughout what was a very busy afternoon for the staff. Great lager and atmosphere. A huge thanks to Josh and the staff!

Lovely looking inside and out. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Food small but very tasty. We reserved the conservatory for a birthday and the sharing platters were tasty too and presented beautifully. London prices for food and drinks are still a shock but I think they're about the same here as anywhere else locally. Would definitely recommend.

Went for Father’s Day and had never been before. Food was great, a good kids menu and the veggie roast was delicious. All of the staff were lovely but particularly Reece! Great experience- will be back for sure.

Edd crafted an exceptional Margarita and Amaretto Sour for me. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was top-notch. His skill and attention to detail truly made for a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Definitely the best breakfast I've had in Earlsfield! Well worth a visit.

The recent refurbishment has really elevated the place! The outdoor space is a real sun trap, and given how close it is to the road side, the noise isn't disruptive and you feel quite private. Service is good; but especially love the dog station - water, water bowls, treats and on some days tennis balls!

We had an absolute blast at the Halfway House last night! Great atmosphere, very friendly and smiley team, and great selection of drinks and cocktails - my other half loved her spicy margarita! We will definitely be back - lovely little gem in the heart of Earlsfield.

Hands down one of the best breakfasts I've had in London. They also had a special cocktail for the bank holiday - went down really well.

Sunday roast was great! Crispy pork belly or chicken or if course, beef.

As of today, the only vegetarian option on their menu is a salad. It's like being back in the 1990s.

I had the Mackerel Nicoise as a main course. I have had this before at the Halfway House and it was ok. Last night what I was presented with for £19 contained under £2 worth of ingredients. It would have been a small starter. A Nicoise should contain lettuce, new potatoes and green beans - all missing, Even the menu claimed there would be croutons - there weren't. I complained but we were still charged - a total rip off

Met my parents for an early dinner, while they were on a recent visit to London. Wasn’t sure about where to take them, but having checked the Halfway House menu decided there was something on there for everyone. Our welcome on entering the pub was very friendly, taken straight to our table. The gentleman (I’m kicking myself that I didn’t get his name) who looked after us and served us all evening was amazing, nothing was enough, he was really friendly. We had a slight issue with my daughter’s meal and while I don’t normally like to complain I did mention it this time. The gentleman was on it straight away, gave us options, he would sort out a new dish straight away and was very apologetic. He also gave us a free drink, on the house, as an apology for the inconvenience. I would highly recommend this pub, the service is top notch, the food is really good and the atmosphere lovely.

Nice enough, but 3.40 for half a pint of lemonade is absolutely extortionate. Will not be returning as I don't want a second mortgage.

This place and staff were great I booked for a leaving party with only a week's notice for 20 people they had no problems fitting us in gave us a very large seating area which was great The drinks and food were well priced, and the service was quick and friendly, I would recommend to anyone who likes a pub with a great look , great experience 👍🏼

Strolled down to the Halfway for a late lunch as our intended pub was surprisingly closed. How fortuitous were we! Not the biggest menu in the world but the quality of food was outstanding. The young lady who served us was very friendly and obviously knew the ropes. We did not wait too long and all the meals arrived at the same time and were hot. 4 of us ate different dishes and we were all VERY pleased with our choices. I had the chicken and leak pie with mash. Everything on my plate was delicious and packed with flavour. I would highly recommend this pub for it's food as well as the decor, which was very clean and well maintained. Well done to ALL of the staff.

Hosted a friend’s baby shower here this weekend and it really did not disappoint! From the generous, delicious food, to the amazing service throughout, it was the perfect event. The staff were so accommodating and helpful beforehand helping me organise and weren’t fazed at all at us hosting crafts, decorating and using two of their semi-private rooms. On the day itself, the manager Callum and his team were amazing; so kind and attentive to our group and really efficient. We had the sandwich buffet which totally exceeded expectations - the sandwiches were absolutely huge, jam-packed with really tasty fillings and there was more than enough for everyone (still eating some now!) The space itself is gorgeous, we used the conservatory, which is bright and airy with luscious vines all over that really add to the aesthetic, and the dining room that seated all 21 of us. A great, memorable day, thank you!

Only had a couple of beers here but seems a great place to spend time in.

Have been here for a roast many times and enjoyed it. They have reduced the size of the plates which is a bit annoying although it’s great for a photo but not great for eating the meal. Also only 2 potatoes now which is a bit stingy and I do wish they had crispy crackling. Those things didn’t ruin the meal though. The customer service is still great and they tend to deal with any issues quickly. Again it was a busy Sunday and a bit of a wait for food but was very nice when it came out. Kids also ate all of there’s too which is always a bonus! Photo is from a previous visit.

I booked a table for 8, but in the end 13 of us turned up. Staff were unfailingly helpful and attentive, food was excellent and despite multiple drinks, some starters and some desserts, it still came to under £35 a head. Lovely atmosphere, too. Many thanks to Josh and the whole team for a lovely extended birthday meal!

I recently dined at Halfway House and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and service. From the moment I stepped in, I felt warmly welcomed by Junior and the staff, who treated me like family. The ambiance was cozy, and the food was simply delicious, prepared with care and attention to detail. One of the best place to have pint of beer after work, Always visit it with my brother when i have a chanse. Never tried food there so will not add anything about food. But service and the beer on high level.

I celebrated my dad’s 60th birthday at The Halfway House and I am very impressed with the communication and service by the staff. All of the guest's said they enjoyed their time at the pub and the burger sliders that I pre-ordered. The staff were attentive on the night and in the lead up to the event. I would like to thank the team for such an enjoyable experience. The space which we used was suitable and allowed a relaxed environment which is exactly what we wanted. I was able to put up my own decorations as long as they could be removed. Excellent food, service and good venue.

We booked a cornered off area super last minute for a leaving drinks with friends and everyone commented on how lovely, helpful and generally wonderful the staff were. Food was great, came quickly and tasted fresh, service super speedy and friendly - all in all a 10/10 experience (which is rare these days!). They said they've been really busy recently, and I am not surprised. Would definitely go back.

having been a frequent visitor, I dropped by again for a quick bite and a drink to catch the tail end of the rugby match, anticipating the consistent quality that Young's pubs are known for. Unfortunately, my experience this time fell short of expectations. The burger I ordered was a letdown; the buns were burnt, imparting an unpleasant taste, and the meat had a disappointingly tough texture, reminiscent of fast food rather than the quality I've come to expect. Myself and a friend met for an early Friday lunch before catching the train. Fish and chips was glorious and a very hearty portion. Staff lovely as well as attentive. The pub also had a nice atmosphere (the buzz of a few tables but peaceful enough to enjoy our lunch). Will be back

Family of 6 plus baby had a Sunday roast at the Halfway House. Chosen for location and reputation. Most had the roast pork. My wife and I had roast beef. Everyone happy with their meal. Atmosphere was good. Lots of families/groups of friends (many with babies) having lunch. Staff were very friendly and professional. Nothing not to like.

Lovely pub, it's one that I've been meaning to go to for a while since moving to the area. The outside looks really inviting and the inside is really well kept and comfortable. Also dog friendly with space between tables for them to lay down. The staff are super attentive and quick with taking orders. We didn't eat as it was social drinks with friends but the menu looks great. There are plenty of choices on tap to suit most tastes

Had always frequented this place for a quick pint out the station and enjoyed the service and quality of the pints. The blonde haired barman pours a delightful Guinness! Recently popped in for a Sunday lunch and had a delightful set of meals, the roast & fish&chips were particularly good - all at a decent price point. Everything you could ask for from your local station pub (and more!)
