Down for the week end and found this quirky bar. 12 ales to choose from so my idea of heaven.

Brilliant characterful microbar in Saltburn. A great selection of draft ales all with plenty to keep most happy for a few drinks. No handpulls but the variety and friendliness more than makes up for that. We sat upstairs because Jack the bar manager was great to chat to about beers and the like and it really added to the experience. The building downstairs has lots of interesting areas that I feel would make each visit a little different each time. Fabulous beer choice helped by an honest and knowledgeable bar manager. I absolutely loved this place and wish it was a little closer to home so that I could frequent it more often.

Fine selection of ales, albeit on my first I picked a very peculiar lemon one 😂. I was offered a taster first, as you can do with all the beers. Intimate bar, lovely atmosphere and a very ecclectic soundtrack. Dog friendly too

All keg no draught but excellent choice and quality prices reflect keg so are a bit steep very dog freindly ours was fussed over and got treats so he was happy found the seating a little uncomfortable I know they can't have couches in every corner due to limited space but cushions would be nice

We went to the quiz on Sunday evening (6.00pm). Jack was hosting the quiz for the first time and he was perfect. We didn't score the highest number of points but were awarded a prize of 4 cans of beer because we had a good team name which was Quiztopher Nolan. Jack must be a film buff. Most importantly the beer is very very rasty and I prefer 2/3rds rather than pints or halves.

Fantastic ale & liquor bar, with cool decor, excellent sounds, and a brilliant vibe. Bar staff are very friendly and really helpful, patiently steering us through an interesting range of spirits. From what I could see, there were plenty of ales & craft beers to try as well, but not being a fan, I couldn't give an informed opinion on those, I'm afraid. However, if the selection's anything like the whiskies, rums and tequila's on offer, I can't imagine anyone will be disappointed. Last orders came all too soon for us, but very much looking forward to visiting again at the earliest opportunity.

Nice looking place but no prices anywhere to be seen. Got a couple of pints of beer and /a can of diet pepsi. Yes, the beers were high strength IPA, but £18.40 bill? Can of coke maybe £2.40 plus £8 a pint? Will not be coming back. Would not recommend

Great little bar! Loved the rustic vibes, good music playing and an amazing selection of beers and rum. We came here twice on our recent visit to Saltburn and would highly recommend this bar!

Excellent service. Large keg range, so I was asked what I liked, given a sample and ordered a pint. Nothing on cask, but full marks for being the only place open in Saltburn on a Wednesday afternoon!

Service was amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable. Best choice of craft beers and rum we found while in Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Great atmosphere weekdays and weekends. A definite visit if you want a great beer and a friendly welcome.

We called in on a wet Friday afternoon and enjoyed a couple of drinks. Seems like a great informal spot where the emphasis is on the drinks. The chap behind bar had time to tell me about the 10 or so beers that were on...and a word or two more about the ones that would be on in the future too. Decent selection or rums, gins, whiskies etc. So, woohoo, a proper bar. The main room has tables and benches round the edge but there is much more than you can see from the window. Sofa seating is available through the back and there is more room downstairs...one of which has a large square raised table which would be brilliant for larger groups. Bar snacks are available too. I actually quite emphatically rejected the suggestion of a can of olives but my wife said she was getting some anyway. Turned out they were large, meaty, brilliant with a beer and I definitely took more than my fair share. Beer in all the sizes including the 2/3 of a pint. Winner.

Lovely pub, great drinks very nice helpful staff, really lovely decor including the lights and a real wood fire. Really great atmosphere. Only thing is that you can see right through the toilet door which is a little off-putting if you go the loo but that's the only thing really everything else is brilliant

Ok if you like pales and IPAs, no stouts or porters on when we visited. Perhaps we were just unlucky?

Weekend away with my husband and our friends. Went here Friday and Saturday night. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great music, fab querky layout. Thoroughly enjoyed our nights here. Will definitely be back on our next weekend trip to Saltburn.

Popped in after my wife's 2nd covid jab, and she spotted they sold a fruit beer. Lovely little place, basic, but comfortable. Looks like a good range of beers and a gin menu. Will visit again when in Saltburn.

Very good choice for a pint or 6 when in Saltburn-by-the-Sea. We didn't bother going anywhere else in the end, this was amply suited with its classy, spacious interior, great choice of beers and clued up bar staff. Thoroughly enjoyed.

This is a great bar with some great beers. There are plenty of different rooms so you will find somewhere to sit or stand.

Popped in a few times now and always enjoyed it. Lots of cosy little nooks and rooms and excellent gin selection. A little on the pricey side but friendly and welcoming.

Bit disappointing. Thought there would be more craft beers on offer. Barman was very friendly and helped choose from a good selection of gins. Small smoking area to the rear

Quirky little bar with some interesting choices of drinks. If your wanting something a little different from your regular pub feel or wanting to treat your taste buds would recommend.

What an excellent place. Craft beer wall, iron sculptured deer head, beer keg urinals ( I kid you not, functional and excellent reusing). Warm fire, dog friendly, lovely staff and an all round nice place to sit. Even the beer is well priced. Close to the centre of town and the station. it's definitely well worth a walk up from the seafront after a stroll. If you like gin there is a vast array of many coloured bottles to baffle and impress.... I'm way too indecisive to choose gin these days and part of me almost ( I did say almost) yearns for the Gordon's, greenalls, Plymouth or Bombay sapphire days).

Looks can be deceiving. It's the kind of bar you can go into and sit and talk to anybody. Dog friendly, there is plenty of room, and a decent sized smoking area out the back
