El Gully ha vuelto. Me alegro mucho de ver a la familia de vuelta al mando. No puedo esperar a volver pronto. El pollo Birmania es único. Estamos en nuestro año 40 viniendo aquí y es genial verlo de vuelta a su magia.

One of the best curry houses in Scotland. Delicious food every time. Top tip. Always start with some of their amazing pakora.

Ordered a takeaway away. Food was very poor. Bland with absolutely nothing to make me want to go back. What a shame, with the reviews of this restaurant being a family run place it was such a let down. Take away across the road absolutely wipes the floor with this restaurant. Delivery driver was nice and pleasant.

Very disappointed, fish pakora was full of bones and I couldn’t eat it, butter chicken was alright but made better myself

Primera visita desde el regreso a la propiedad original - la comida era excelente. Teníamos parkora mixta, cada uno era delicioso, especialmente el hongo. Comimos pollo tikka (uno de los mejores que he probado) y Tikka especial con el pollo y gambas y un pan nan. Honestamente puedo decir que esta es una de las mejores comidas indias que hemos tenido y ya estamos planeando la próxima visita.

After reading the flyer which was put through our door, we thought we'd give then a go. It wasn't great. Very small portions and expensive. We will stick with the Delhi Darbar.

Esta noche pedí un pollo bhopal Tengo uno de cordero El chany estaba podrido y sabía más a salsa de curry. La dulce nan fue la peor de todas las masas y poco cocida... Qué pena que he estado yendo durante años y no voy a volver voy a utilizar sueños indios a lo largo de la carretera.

I’ve used the Gullistan for over 25 years. This time I ordered a Shahi Chicken Korma which is meant to have cashew nuts in it. The chicken was chewy and the Sauce was very watery and there was not a cashew nut in sight. I ate half of it and threw the rest away. I’m not sure if the place is under new management but it’ll be a while before I try it again … if I do

Always a good takeaway from Guilistan .. been going to them for over 30 years

The Gulistan went above and beyond for me. When my meal arrived it was very spicy. ( may I add I am very sensitive to any heat!) I went for a ceylonese korma. I called the restaurant to see if this was normal and whilst they advised it was they noted my disappointment in my choice. The well mannered gentleman on the phone offered a replacement and much cooler ceylonese. The new order arrived and it was delicious. Full of flavour and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Great service.

First time in years I've ordered from Gullistan as I had previous meals which were disappointing. I'm glad I tried again as the food was lovely. Thanks, I'll definitely order again.

I have given a poor rating, as this relates to the 6.00 charge for cauliflower pakora - however the quantity of dish was severely lacking. Also the cost of curry and lack of veg within dish was also equally disappointing. I have pictures if required.

called shop to ask why it was marked as delivered on the app but no one had turned up. dude moaned that they had 5 orders and its too much for them??. said the driver was definitely coming. driver arrives and bag looked like it had been kicked about, sauces all spilled all over the bag, paper bags inside had melted away with all the oil and sauce no tip. sort your shop out jeez.

Best chi Ken korma I've had in a long time excellent

Superb Indian food. Super friendly and attentive service by the sons of the original owner who are returning this establishment to what their dad built. Top quality and tasty food with generous servings. To top it off the personal interaction of the owners made the night.

Everything was lovely except the chicken in the jaipuri. As soon as I opened the container it was like a strong vinegar smell which gave me the feeling it was off! Only the chicken tasted like this as the sauce was ok. Managed 2 pieces. Couldn’t face eating anymore!

Been ordering from the Gulistan for years and though the restaurant has changed hands, the food and the service is consistently great. Everything was lovely, once again.

Used to be regular at this place...heard it had been taken over by the old management...first time been back in nearly 2 years...deffo be back again soon 100% ...great to see its back on track again .

I thoroughly relished my takeaway experience from Gulistan and eagerly anticipate indulging in their culinary delights again soon. With the original owners back in charge, Gulistan has reclaimed its reputation as a top-tier Indian takeaway in the area, offering not only exceptional food but also a renewed sense of authenticity and passion in every dish.

Not yet open for dine in yet so takeaway it was. Lamb bhuna was OK. Meat was a little bit tough, and didn't get the same taste, veg pakora was beautiful. Its just opening up so hopefully it will get better. We will go back once it's open for a while and maybe have a better review.

Used this place for years and now under new ownership. Always either eaten in or takeaway . This has never been a problem until now. Which is such a shame will NEVER use them again.

Just ordered a hot chicken bhuna omg did not disapoint was lovely tasty and the heat I wanted. Would thoroughly recommend.

Awful experience, food was really bad, chicken was solid and inedible. They missed two items off of our order but refused to give us a refund. Please don’t order anything from them, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

First time ordering and it will be the last. Curries were just okay, nothing special. What was really shocking was the size of the portion of rice. Wish I’d checked the contents before leaving as would not have accepted a portion that small. Live over 11 miles away so returning was not an option. Keep your money and don’t go here.

Ordered food online and received a call saying that wat I ordered and paid for was wrong and I only get rice or Nan not both. Sort yourselves out

Absolute terrible food ordered fish n chips special fried rice delivery was 40 mins late and food was stone cold when reheated in oven fish was tasteless chips like cardboard rice tasted like water all in all not a nice experience ordering online I certainly will not be ordering from here again save your money folks go to savaraan restaurant in Bishopbriggs better fresh food there

Lamb tikka the lamb!!! was well past it’s best, when my wife phoned to complain the guy was not interested. This is a restaurant I have been using since it opened, but I’m sorry to say I won’t be back.

Ordered takeaway on Friday for first time and will be my last. Could have bounced pakora off the wall and my chicken was cold and watery. Obviously been frozen and not defrosted properly before they chucked it into the sauce. Went straight in bin. Dont waste your money.

The price was amazing for the food you got.. Me and my friends ordered 2 Munchie boxes for 22 in total and we had food.. unironically for 2 days.. we probably got 7-9 portions for 20 pounds.. the man by the counter was also very pleasant and kind.. he tried to warn us but we pushed in anyway.. the sauces were also really good

Yous have been my favourite Indian restraunt for years but after ordering tonight after not using yous for over a year I thought I'd treat me and the family and boy I wished I had saved my money 😔 Chicken pakora was that inedible straight in the bin it went 2 x curries were bland as anything Slither of garlic on my chapatis just absolutely disgusting. I shouldn't have listened to family and friends when they said your standards have majorly slipped £40 for absolute rubbish won't ever be back to this establishment save your money guys..

Been going to the gulistan for over 40 years, never had a complaint about the place before. Got a take away meal, It came out faster than a microwave meal, Under 2 mins, Think someone must have returned it! It was far too hot must have dropped a bag of spices in it, called today sorry sorry sorry was told, Said still had 95 percent of the meal, as the 5 percent I ate was more in anoth, The guy on the phone wasn't interested. Well not be back will feed it to the wild animals,

Been going to the Gulistan for over 30 years & have never experienced such shocking service as I have in the last few months! Take away orders are substandard with items missing & when u contact them they say they ll replace item at next visit so left with half a meal. Tonight half a portion of pakora, no rice so another incomplete order! Phoned them & they said they would deliver. 45minutes later, another phone call and excuse after excuse from them including how their supplies prices have increased & they still offer discount . Really!!. Delivered after 1hr & freezing cold so not only is half my dinner ruined but now the whole lot is!! Shocking customer service from staff! You need to take a good look at how u treat ur customers or they will not return!!

Delicious food - best Chicken Rogan Josh ive ever had (non-mild variant)! Staff are friendly and helpful, they cope well with a mega busy delivery service. We usually get take away but sit in occasionally: restaurant could do with fresh modern decor, which is my only criticism!

I'm here In BishopBriggs visiting a friend, I decided to try the Gulistan as it's only a couple of minutes away, it took approximately 10 minutes for the food to be cooked, long story short, the chicken curry Masaladar and Aubergine with potatoes along with with two very big naan breads was one of the best I have tasted in a very long time, I live in the south of England and by far, is value for money, I will most definitely been ordeing again,

after the disaster we had with another restaurant near by we had to go to the Gulistan. Although it is not up to the standard it used to be the meals we had where very good only issue no sauces for the pakora. The Naan breads where large and went well with the meal

Poor....called 1720 hrs for home delivery...waited 1 hour before calling back.......said ....its just being made....oh no its out for delivery...oh wait...its just being made....

Waste of money!!! Paid £38.00 - peshwari nann that we paid extra for -burnt! Asked for very mild Kormas, said we only asked for mild, they were very spicy - a new chef required! When I phoned to complain was offered a peshwari nann and because we had added cream to the Kormas they would not replace them . Kormas looked more tomato based than cream based. Won’t be back and won’t recommend to anyone. Unhappy customer Bishopbriggs!!!

Went to this restaurant to have a quick meal It’s was Saturday 18/1/20 in the evening and there was only 4 other people dining there when we arrived. The restaurant was absolutely freezing Once our food arrived it was the worst Indian meal I have ever had and I’ve had a few over the years the food was totally tasteless My partner had one piece of chicken and couldn’t eat anymore it was that bad needless to say I won’t be back there

Always good food amd decent prices. Extremely quiet as its very popular for deliveries. It could use a little upgrade but again most people take away but always a favourite for a nice quiet chilled evening meal. Buffet is a great deal for anyone sceptical it's definitely worth it and super fresh too 👍

£19 for a bhuna ,2 rice,nan and a tub of bhuna sauce ,bit expensive but the curry was nice tho, got take away so can't comment on decor or service

Absolutely garbage food. Watery bland and tasteless. Chicken korma comes as breast instead of chopped. Spicy onions are not chopped either. Good luck with sharing the rice. Horrible. Give this place a wide berth and go somewhere else. Giving us a discount next time won’t do.

I live in Asia and when spending time in Glasgow I always enjoy Indian?Pakistani curries. My memories always go back to University when I lived on curries in Gibson Street. However, nowadays I find many restaurants in the UK do not provide a good authentic taste. I am glad to report Gulistan is not one of those restaurants. The curries were so good, I have to admit we went back 2 nights in a row. Their Bhuna Gosht is nothing short of magic, huge naans, and really great chapatis. Could life get any better? The staff also are so nice and they make you really feel at home.

Really bad takeaway service left without ordering don't like being ignored while staff take phone orders rather than deal with people already waiting will not be back

Orderd lamb tikka bhuna & South Indian garlic chilli chicken & mixd pakora tonight & im soz to say it was the WORST ive ever had the displeasure in tasten 🤮 . The lamb was FATTY , chicken was STRINGY & the sauces in both wer vry OILY & TASTELESS . A lovely meal for my daughters birthday. Great service, reasonable prices. Would highly recommend. Food was well presented and plenty of it. All 10 of us had the buffet and the children had chicken nuggets.

Been going to this restaurant since it opened in 1975, different members of the family have run it over the years, it's still my favourite Indian restaurant, as my family would all agree.

The food was very spicy both my Jaupurri and wife Korma wife said sauce was OK but chicken was spicy

Travelled from falkirk and was not disappointed. this place can cook proper Indian food chicken madras amazing. omg did not have to ask for it to be hot it was hot.we travel abt for good Indian food this place is worth a visit.dont be put of with deco it is outdated.but is first class food and service. Fair to say my husband and I will be bk.. 5star if i could give it more on its food i would .as I say don't be put of by the deco. Lisa xx

I found this place by necessity. Another restaurant could not accommodate us so we went here instead. It proved to be a good move. There was plenty of parking nearby. There was no difficulty in getting a table. The meal was served quickly. The staff were very pleasant and the food was excellent. The only negative point was that the place looked worn and tired and could do with a bit of tlc. It was also great value.

Sometimes good not up to much the portion varies at times and that's the same good we order all the time

Buena comida, una relación calidad-precio increíble y propietarios y personal muy hospitalario. Mi única razón para no dar 5 estrellas es porque necesita algo de dinero para actualizar. El exterior parece particularmente descuidado.
