The Guildford Hotel in Leeds

Honestly one of the worst pubs I have ever been to, it was completely D E A D, the music was average and the cost? Don't make me mention the cost dear - I fear what it might do to me. So you maybe wondering what the 5 stars are for, each and every single glittering star is for the one staff member, destined to tend a bar alone in an empty emotionless room, who supplied me with such wit and charm that he alone deserves 5 stars. And therefore, this review is more a judge of character for the staff as opposed for the lifeless atmosphere. This is for a better bar experience, this is for more Lukes.

Love this pub, called in before Christmas with a friend & stayed in till late as the music playing was 80s & 90s, not too busy so easy to get served.

Changed since I last went in. Over priced drinks & was full of rowdy loud garish middle aged men & women. Definitely won't be going there again...was a different clientele when I went last

A dull pub with nothing to offer.

Had visitors from out of town and popped in for a few drinks at lunchtime. Place was empty. One bar staff did not speak very good English and not knowledgable behind bar. Bar prices VERY expensive!!! Nothing special and will not be going there again.

A real drinkers pub, didn't really have a lot going for it

OK pub apparently music on downstairs but not when I visited

Some good and some bad. Good selection of drinks at the bar but only one of the 3 cask beers were available. It was disco night and in such a small pub, music was just too loud.

Cool little place, didn't seem to get overcrowded like everywhere else

Mediocre. Ok for an after work pint and it knows it. No effort to be anything other.

Not a terrible place, small, fairly decent number of drinks. Get's very busy for such a small place and the staff don't really care, there are better pubs you can go to.

Not a bad pint of John's and you can always get a seat. Decent enough pub if you're on a crawl in Leeds.

Great night out if you like your eights music plus good atmosphere recommend

Good old generation music but still enjoyed only problem was how hot it was inside we got told by the barman they are not allowed to fit ac because of restricted building

horrible staff who are arrant and very confrontational. no wonder this place only had 2 people inside.

Great music and a fun place to go!

Booked a table for 11:30am a couple of months ago. turned up at 11:30, waited outside for 10 mins(there was no sign of life inside and every door was locked) then decided to go to the Spoons instead. This place may well do great food but sadly didn't get to try it as it was not open.

If you wear Stone Island clothing, have your head shaved and support the BNP then your at home here. Not the fault of the owner or the staff but it has become a clique place. Full of the worst of Leeds Supporters. Most Leeds supporters are the best may I add. Avoid this place on match days...y
