The Grove Restaurant in North Somerset

As there is not much at the far end of Weston, this can provide super snacks and cups of tea.Very reasonable prices.

We went here on saturday (30th June 2018) evening whilst staying in Weston for the weekend. The food was amazing and well priced. The staff were very polite and friendly. We enjoyed it so much we booked for sunday lunch the following day before returning home. Would definately recommend!

Went with a group last Thursday (24th May 2018) for dinner. Greeted and escorted to the restaurant by some of the students. ALL staff (students) unfailingly polite. Room lovely and food great. My only criticism is that it was served at 'machine gun' pace. They were clearing one course when one of our diners was still eating. It would be appreciated if they slowed down the service and allowed us to savour the experience. They should also provide the diners the opportunity to congratulate the team (round of applause) and provide brief feedback forms to each diner to record their views. Overall third visit by me and would unfailingly recommend the expreience

Welcomed with a smile food lots of choice especially as I am coeliac lovely friendly atmosphere, food is very reasonably priced

The Grove is a training kitchen at Weston College. The food I had was absolutely excellent and I received very good service. The prices made for ridiculously good value for money! I had a heavenly bread and butter pudding for desert that was honestly the best I've ever had. Will be back!

We went early evening but best to book if u can. Food was best I had for a long time, leave room for the pudding u will be glad u did

Tendrás que reservar una mesa y permitir tiempo para avanzar en la seguridad. Aparcamiento de pago cercano parques es en coche. Nuestro grupo tomó la capacidad total del restaurante y todos pre-ordenados desde el menú de tres platos que también venía con el café. El servicio era rápido. Todas las personas nos sirven en un corto período de tiempo. Todas las comidas eran muy bien presentado y probado realmente bueno tanto que los platos estuvieran vacías, aunque las raciones eran más que adecuadas. El ambiente es bueno y hay un bar de vinos. En conjunto, un esfuerzo de los alumnos y espléndido tan buena relación calidad-precio. El futuro parece bueno para catering.

We have just returned from The Grove Bistro after a fabulous Valentines meal. The three courses were superb, beautifully cooked & presented. The waitresses were very friendly and looked after us very well. I was even presented with a red rose, which was lovely & such a nice touch. I can thoroughly recommend the Grove Bistro, whether it be an evening or lunch meal or just a sandwhich or a panini at lunch time. You will not be disappointed.

Having booked a table, we were met at our arrival time at reception. We were then taken to the restaurant. Reception from waiter staff was excellent. Great tasty food, both had starters of black pudding and sausage meat scotch eggs and salad. Our main was chicken Kiev, perfectly cooked. Portions very generous. Dessert was orange chocolate mousse with biscuit. All washed down with a bottle of wine. Hard to believe all prepared and served by students. Great experience and we will most certainly be going back. Book first.

Very good choice of food,they do an amazing 2 course for 11.95.i had bacon and mushroom in a creamy port sauce with French toast as a starter which was gorgeous and a mixed grill which was the best I've had,staff were lovely and friendly,good selection of wine at decent price.

Very delightful restaurant with very pleasant staff.It felt very homely and comfortable and the food was good and a lot of it.The only downfall would be that it closes at 21.30 hours but i could understand why as there are a couple of rowdy bars very close and understandably they would not want drunks falling in demanding food after a session.

Had a lovely lunch but the evening meal was a fiasco. Should have realised what was going to happen when an apple juice was ordered and an orange juice was brought. Ordered 3 Steaks , 2 well-done without trimmings, 1 medium with a side of peppercorn sauce also Tagliatellie with courgettes. After a wait of nearly an hour our meals arrived , 2 well-done steaks with trimmings, 1 tagliatellie with leeks and a side of peppercorn sauce.The waitress apologised and twenty minutes later the other steak arrived. We were told we would get a discount and would not have to pay for the forgotten steak., that is until the bill came , suddenly the steak was a 'Special' and we had to pay for it. The only 'Special' was the sauce.Suffice to say we did not pay for the steak or drinks. But the whole experience spoilt our few days away. The food was delicious but the wait for it was far too long.

Excellent food. Their student sometime make food and do experiment with food. I ate another day chinese food paying 1 pound only. So try Grove lunch time and also breakfast time.

Had a lovely meal here last week. The food is very well presented and tasted great. I had the Kleftico and it was lovely.

Went here for their Italian theme night . We were welcomed at the lift by one of the students and shown to the restaraunt where we had a pre dinner drink . The waiter took us to our table and settled us in with the menu . There were 3 courses all presented and cooked correctly . The meal here was excellent value for money and a credit to the students .

Although I have contacts with the college it always provides a warm welcome, but most of all good food cooked by the apprentices. It is encouraging that the meals are to a very high standard and there is a variety of choice. Well worth a visit for the public.

All round good food with excellent service that is very good value for money. Welcomed on arrival with a comprehensive menu and good wine list. Service was very prompt and the food faultless. A must if you are visiting Weston.

This small restaurant is several blocks back from the seafront on an extension of the High Street pedestrian area. Its worth searching outThe decor is bright and cheerful and the service was exemplary. The food was also good and they coped well with variations to the menu.It was well worth the visit and I hope to try there again

we have been to this restaurant and there is nothing not to like the food is excellent as are the staff very attentive and polite the food is always of high standard and served lovely and hot and plenty of it i would highly recommend eating here

Lovely food but they struggle to serv large parties advise to pre order if a large party attending Service was slow for oyur party of suixteen but food when it arrived was excellent

We had our work Christmas lunch at The Grove Restaurant, at the college, and I could not be more impressed! The food was tasty and well-presented, and the service professional and friendly. I do not believe we would have had a better experience anywhere else. The price was unbeatable too! Well worth a visit - I know I'll be going back. They're currently open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime, and weekly alternating Tuesday and Thursday. Call them, or visit their website, to make a reservation.

Value for money with some evenings providing a set menu with entertainment. I would return in the future.

Another great gastronomy experience - some lovely meals, and a great atmosphere, friendly, professional and helpful waitresses. We ate here for lunch, dinner and for the first time, Sunday luncheon, every meal expertly cooked, and presented to tempt the taste buds. Some very interesting and tempting sauces to accompany the dishes. Sunday lunch was reasonably priced, we choose Roasts and accompanied with all the trimmings and good selection of vegetables, although vegetarian options available and a fish choice, for those that want to try other things. Good selection of wines, and "The House Wines" good quality and value for money, even our visitor from Spain complimented on the good choice. The Chef/owner takes a real pride in his food and takes the time after service to visit the tables and talk to the diners. If you want good food, at a reasonable price, its a "must" to visit this restaurant- there is so much variety, that you will want to visit again & again. Thanks for some lovely meals. A friend and I had lunch at the Grove, the college training restaurant today and we were very pleasantly supprised. The food, which was cooked by the students, was first class. The service too was excellent, students were professional but friendly. I will be having lunching there again and definately recommending it to my friends.

Great food which is excelent value along with great quality service. Very well presented, would definately come again. I would recomend for the opening days and times to be advertised.
