I ordered two drinks, both were made wrong as we asked for no Milk. The young girl was incredibly rood. As was her friend. I don’t recommend here at all. And will never go back. £8 for two small drinks. Better going to Costa or Starbux

We visited this restaurant last Friday. We had been previously and I was ill the following day. I did inform the Manageress and she apologised and said she would speak to the chef and she gave me a free caramel slice. Last Friday I had a bacon sandwich stressing it must be gluten free as I suffer from coeliac disease. It was luten free bread but obviously the bread and/or the bacon had been cross contaminated. I could not stand up on Saturday because of the pain in my stomach. I had not been anywhere else so there is no doubt about where I had been "gluttoned" so if you have a food allergy stay well clear.

I visited the 'Greenhouse Kitchen' with my granddaughter for lunch. My granddaughter had beans on toast, the bread was a nice thick slice taken from a batch loaf, but I thought it was a little pricy for beans on toast. I ordered jacket potato with prawns and side salad. The potato was small and quite difficult to cut, it seemed to have been cooked and then microwaved. The side salad was disappointing, again I thought this a little pricy, especially for the quality of the meal. The staff were friendly and the surroundings lovely. I would not be enticed to go for an everyday meal, but I believe the carvery is very nice.

I went to purchase items at the Garden Centre and was very pleased. We decided to have a meal at the attached Restaurant. It was a Carvery. There was 1 choice of meat. Gammon very cold no infra red to keep hot.Minimum amount of Veg. The other half opted for Fishcakes (plural). There was only 1.I will not bother this Restaurant again. No value for money the only saving grace is that the Staff were polite and friendly.A complete waste of time and money.

Hadn't been here before and was surprised ny the size of the garden centre. In between seasons so empty spaces waiting for new stock. Not a huge plant area but plenty for all the family inside. The cafe was large and barn like but clean and tidy with everything looking spick and span. Two sofa seating areas with magazi es which is a nice touch Had bacon sandwich with coffee for £6.20. Bread fresh although off a boring sliced loaf and bacon tasty. Cream available for coffee. Service by young people who were charming. Roast and dish of day served, also breakfast with sandwiches so menu is fairly restricted.

Been here a few times but was extremely pleased with our family Christmas Eve breakfast went. We were notified that food would take a little longer than usual at order, which is to be expected at Christmas. Fantastic staff, great food and an enjoyable meal. Thanks!

Amazing Christmas Eve breakfast. Yes it was busy but the service from all the staff was incredible and food was amazing as ever.Between us we had full English breakfasts which were all thoroughly enjoyed, breakfast sandwiches which were perfect and the avocado with poached eggs which were to die for. Couldn’t fault all the team here and couldn’t recommend them more!

Well the most appalling food, burnt black sausages and when complained told that was how they should be as were sausages with honey, rock hard avocado which couldn’t even be cut with a knife & when complained told by the manager sorry it hasn’t ripened, food order came over 55 minutes after we had ordered and as 6 friends some of the party had Already eaten, they gave us another tables orders of drinks. Will never go again. We’re offered £5 vouchers but all insisted on our money back as we won’t be going ever again. Manager had no remorse that service and food bad.

I'm a frequent visitor, which tells you everything. The coffee is first rate, one of the best you'll find. There's a wide range of cakes and pastries, the breakfast is excellent and the carvery is outstanding.....and very popular too. It's a great place to relax, read the paper and watch the world go by.

Went for a Sunday carvery. Only scraps of one meat left and hardly any veg or potatoes as they were closing in around an hour they weren’t putting any more out. We asked if it was still full price even though there was hardly anything left and what was left was just scrag ends, they said yes.. still full price (almost £10 each) we opted for a baked potato instead. It wasn’t great, especially for the price. My friend had prawns with hers and they were sitting in water, obviously from being defrosted..they could have at least drained them, she felt unwell all night after eating them. We had cake and coffee..as a treat..I thought..until I got to the bottom part and saw it was mouldy. Furious! I’d eaten most of it before realising. I took it to the counter and she offered me a refund on the cake or another slice of different cake! I chose the refund. I felt ill after that too. So, between the soggy prawns, mouldy cake, unclean cutlery and scraps for a carvery, we left feeling ripped off & still hungry but too queasy to eat anything after that experience. It isn’t cheap here and the quality is extremely poor even if it was cheap! Shame it’s changed hands. It used to be ok. Wouldn’t eat there again.

I visited for first time today and i was extremely disappointed. I arrived at 12.25pm and there were approx 30 people in restaurant. I joined the queue for the Sunday roast. I thought the price of £9.95 was steep but I was treating myself (or so I thought). There were 4 people in front of me and we were were waiting for a top up of vegetables as they had run low. We waited for 12 minutes before service resumed. I sat down at 12.40pm. It soon became apparent that the veg had been rushed out and therefore had not been cooked enough. The carrots were still crunchy, cauliflower stalks still crunchy and cabbage still crunchy. I should have gone and complained but instead I just walked out and vow not to return again. Surely there should always be another batch of veg ready to bring out at all times. My father had a very similar experience a couple of weeks ago so it was not a one off.

I had heard that the garden centre restaurant had new owners so a friend and myself decided to treat ourselves to lunch there. I had the roast turkey and my friend had a tuna jacket potato. The turkey was very moist, the vegetables were cooked just as I like them and very hot. At the end of the meal there was nothing left on my plate. My friend commented that she like the fact that the tuna was served separately to the potato and you could add your own mayo to it. Overall we were impressed and will definitely be back.
