Just been in for coffee and food lovely and clean very good service.

Small but fun. Food was good quality chip shop fare.

Really nice place to grab a bite, nice friendly staff and good food. Its had a name change and makeover since my last visit and is really well done and looks great.

We booked The Greenhouse to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed! This was the perfect venue, perfect staff and and perfect atmosphere and we would highly recommend The Greenhouse for your special event! Sarah, Adam and their team of wonderful staff really go that extra mile to make sure everything is perfect on the day. Nothing is too much trouble and Sarah is on hand to offer help, advice and ideas if needed. Look no further than this wonderful venue if you want something personal, bespoke and most of all, memorable! Lesley and Stuart.

We hired the room for a celebration of life event after Grandma died. This family run place delivered exactly what we wanted and the staff were professional and wonderful. It’s in a great location and we would totally recommend this venue for any family gathering.

Attended SILs wedding reception here and the staff were fantastic. Nothing was a problem for them and the service was fantastic all day and night. Really tasty food too! Thank you for a great party!

I just serviced the range for the place and I can't give a review because i was doing work for them.

We had coffee, tea, child fish and chips for my son and ice-cream. Came to £17. The fish was the tail end, burnt and more batter than fish. Maybe the Caudal fin should not be used for fish and chip dishes...top much muscle and dry.

This place really surprised me. I thought it was just a small cafe in a hut by the pond. The food decor and drinks on option were top notch including the beer. The service was attentive and my Wife's food requirements were met with a smile. Pricing is great too. I will be back and tell my local mates how class it is. Thanks again.

We stopped at the Greenhouse for a quick lunch and a drink on a nice walk along the coast. Plenty of options for both food and drink - kids menu included smaller sandwiches, although surprised it didn't come with a few crisps on the plate for them... The wife went for a seafood basket that she enjoyed. Liquid lunch for me..! 😀 There are some toilets, but they are in a separate building, and on our visit some of them were out of use which meant there was quite a queue.

The food is delicious and I received excellent service. We ordered fish and chips, sandwiches, a slice of cake, a glass of wine and coffee. It was extremely good value. Very friendly and lovely people who run the establishment. A great location to take children. There is a fantastic pirate maze, dinosaur crazy golf, a very large blow-up slide, a bouncy castle etc. The scenery is breathtaking. Dogs are very welcome and everyone always fusses over my husky Kai. A wonderful place to sit in the sun and just chill.

This is a little gem set back from the main road. Serves beers and good food. High chair and baby changing. Had a fish finger sandwich with tartar sauce, which came in a little pot (£6.00), chips (£2.00) and a can of Diet Coke. Really good value and tasty fantastic. Would recommend a visit. Clean and nice staff. Good value for money. Has a card machine, unsure of whether takes American Express.

Terrible service! Staff Arguing with customers in front of others - all over a free children’’s ice cream won on the crazy golf.

Played mini golf today with two families and 4 kids. A kids drew Nd won free icecream off the lad ( who was great) running it. Kids went to cafe to claim prizes and a woman who worked their kicked right off stating they could not all have win and refused the kids there prizes. She ignored all adults attempting to speak to her. I spoke to her and she denied everything and was the rudest person I have ever dealt with, so I told her to stick her ice creams and told a nosey Parker customer to keep her nose out also as she was interjecting for some unknown reason. Kids were crying over the whole thing. Manager also came out and he was as much use as a chocolate fire guard stating he can't believe the children ALL won prizes. Customer service skills 0 Customer interaction 0 Rudeness 10 Totally ruined our day I would advise never to go here as we won't EVER be going back again. All this over a couple of small icecreams. TERRIBLE!!

Good location set inside Tynemouth Park which has plenty to keep kids entertained. Decent menu serving a good selection of breakfast, brunch & lunch items. Sat outside where they do have heat lamps but no wind breaks unfortunately. Table also wasn't cleaned down properly before sitting down. Had the Fish Finger Sandwich in Ciabatta with chips on the side. Sandwich was nice, chips were average. Service somewhat lacking with other people on the tables order not being put through leading to us eating seprerately. Also wasn't brought any cutlery, napkins or condiments which was disappointing. Would find it difficult to recommend unless there was an improvement in service.

Poor service slow delivery of food drinks forgotten meals forgotten

System doesn't work. Sat waiting for table service that never came. Other customers that walked in after us recieved service before us. Other customers served food but not their drinks. Either get a system that works or get more staff. Very poor.

Always enjoy having a coffee here, looking across the boating lake, towards the sea.

The Greenhouse cafe, the front of house staff didn't seem to know what they were doing or be aware of the new Covid laws regarding table service, when I mentioned this, I was met with a "What do you expect us to do about it?" response. How about advise customers of the law. Also, other people's food an napkins left on tables, I saw a dog jump up and put its paws on a table, in front of a senior member of staff, but this wasn't cleaned either. Plus, the ladies and gents toilets are closed, so everyone must use the disabled toilet, which has no toilet seat, to the detriment of all female (and some male) users.

Confusing, but not much good if you want a meal at dinnertime between Monday and Friday, they don't do them, however this might just be covid fault.

Came for lunch after finishing miniature golf. The manager grilled my sons fish, just in case there was any risk of contamination. Friendly staff, good size portions

I have been to a few night time music events here. Loved everyone and especially enjoyed the food. The vegetarian choice doesn't dissapoint. I have visited the café during the day and the food is delicious. Reasonably priced food and drink. Would recommend.

Excellent location now called The Greenhouse Cafe. Fantastic when the weather is nice, you can sup your coffee alfresco or eat good reasonably priced food looking over the boating lake with the sea in the background. Staff are amazingly friendly. You'd be crazy not to give it a try.
