Friendly, welcoming local pub - well worth a visit for a queit pint. Service is on point. Toilets could do with an overhaul

The greengate did our wedding reception for us. They opened their doors just for my wedding party. They also did my buffet for us. Amazing staff, amazing food, and amazing pub. I couldn't thank them enough for what they did for us. Xx

A decent enough boozer with a pool room and darts and with fairly tidy seating areas. It has a back garden for sitting out in the nice weather.

The pub is nice and welcoming, and the drinks are great, but we struggled to chat over the loud music. We found ourselves shouting over what could have been background music as people were happy playing pool or talking, but were not dancing to the music. A shame as the tunes were fab!

Good local pub, well patronised, sport on TVs and understand good well priced food, but not tried for myself. Bar staff are very welcoming.

Fantastic night in the fompany of the 80's dance band New Identity . Best night out in ages.

Recently moved to the area and called in for some lunch. Was very quiet when we went in but people started to filter in for the sunday football. We took our little man in (14month old) and he had a good explore around. Staff were lovely. We got a couple of sunday dinners and a sausage and chips for the wee man. The food was great. Well presented, tasty and very well priced. Will definetly go back.

Nice pub. Nice atmosphere, however after paying (only) £7.50 foe white wine, soda and ice and a pint of fosters, which is average and I'm happy with that. My mum didn't want another wine so switched to soda and ice. To then be charged £5.50 , for soda and a pint of fosters I found ridiculous. Shame really as it's put me off returning. This was my first visit and I came from 67 miles away. This needs addressing, quickly. Spoiled an otherwise nice visit.

Great local pub, Wednesday & Thursday 2 meals for a tenner, you can't go wrong!! The food is really good. Proper homemade chips too!!!! We had a couple of starters to share too. Really reasonable prices pleasant staff & cute pooches that wander around!

Good place, but only open in evenings through the week. Great food, but keeps running out of beer. Needs better management to keep the beer flowing.
