The Green Room Bar & Kitchen in Swansea

I often go there to grab a latte and hot chocolate for my daughter .. but we decided to visit for a nice meal! The food was absolutely beautiful, and customer service was amazing as always! Can't wait to go again 👌

I didn't have food cos the kitchen was closed, but the menu looks nice, so I will try the food another time. I wanted a drink, anyway, so that wasn't a problem Lovely service, very welcoming and lovely decor inside.

Gorgeous cafe! Very reasonably priced (£4.50 for a smoothie in a big glass with noticeably fresh ingredients?! Amazing) we weren’t hungry for food but from what I saw it looked great, the app did suggest we get fries with our coffee and I fear this may be my new go to. Very nice interior, bathrooms available, lemon or plain water available, staff that are all lovely to the customers and each other makes for a fab ambience. 10/10

Came in today and it was very busy, but the staff were very prompt with orders, every single member of staff greeted us with a smile, very different to a year ago in a good way

Food on the menus looked small but they were the opposite! Great value for money and in a lovely location too.

Had our Christmas Party here for around 50 people - the staff were brilliant, atmosphere perfect, food was amazing! It was everything we wanted and had live music, the seating booths meant eveyone mingled and didn't stay in one place, just a really good place to have a party! Staff were brilliant both in organising the event and also on the night - and the buffet spread was delicious with something for everyone - nothing negative to report. Just had a really great time.

Got here just after 9am, when it opened. The place was dirty. Staff weren't very welcoming and the food keeps changing. Although you order the same dish everytime we go there. The baked beans were terrible and the avocado on toast was black and tasted dreadful. Such a shame as initially we loved this place but keeps going downhill. Won't be going back.

Nice location and atmosphere indeed but it taking ages for service the breakfast at least 60mins+……it wasn’t even that busy. Not even 1 star, not recommended. Staff not even telling people why the foods taking ages for service, asking for a refund and left. As a tourist, not recommended ever.

Nice venue to bring young children who can interact with the play equipment whilst the adults can enjoy a visit to the Green Cafe. Very nicely set out offering a reasonable range of meals. It's worth a visit.

Great spot for food, coffee or a beer, especially when it’s sunny. Kids played in the park while we ate and drank. Friendly service 👍🏻

Nice coffee and lovely outdoor space with plenty of playground equipment for the younger visitors. Quite close to the beach too with lots of space to enjoy.

Just had our little wedding reception at The Green Room and we couldn't ask for better service. The food was delicious, the crew friendly and professional and the venue is just simply amazing. Top score!!!

Yes a welcome break on a beautiful sunny day. The staff were very pleasant indeed very helpful and the food was delicious. Of our.party of four each had different food which was of the highest quality. I am very glad indeed to have had the experience of The Green Room today and would recommend a visit if you want to feel refreshed before exploring Swansea Mumbles and the Gower which has much to offer.

My family and I visited on a unplanned visit while shopping and absolutely loved the atmosphere and friendly staff, not to mention that this cafe has the best latte I have ever had in my life!! Beats Costa hands down. Highly recommended 👍❤️

Booked a Table to eat before a show unfortunately there was a mix up on the date. I rang the Green room to mention the issue. They then without promoting offer me a meal for 2 plus a drink each. Which I thought was Extremely generous as I wasn't expecting anything. Thank you Greenroom, our free lunch and coffee was delicious and we will definitely be returning.

Lovely venue with brilliant food. The Green Room Breakfast was very very nice but the Apple Crumble French Toast was out of this world, both accompanied by a delicious coffee. I would definitely recommend a brunch here.

Lovely cafe to visit and was open when I was attending a conference in the arena yesterday. Plenty of space for lunch, light and easy food menu and plenty of cakes all locally sources. Not too expensive considering the location and food styles and types but definitely a little bit posher nosh than most cafes locally. Staff very friendly. You'd need to park in marina or NCP to access and the surroundings are lovely with the green park trail. Close to town, LC2 and winter wonderful when it's on. Thanks Green Room!

Came here a year ago and the food was great. Recently I had visited and the menu has changed , the breakfast portion has been made smaller, 1 egg, 1 sassuage etc , I mean it's expensive already , it's pathetic how little you get with the breakfast for the price. Used to be good, but has gone way down lately , very dissapointing with the food.

Great pizza and an awesome flat white coffee at a great price, what's not to like. Highly recommended.

Some intelligent takes on classic food, with a stunning twist on french toast a particular highlight. A stunning selection of cakes resulted in some tough choices but there were no losers as every option was superb. Friendly staff and a warm, comfortable ambiance meant that this was a fantastic visit and one I would not hesitate to recommend

Lovely place to go and eat to catch up with friends, for a family meal, to do some work, really a venue that caters to all. Food is delicious and presented very nicely. For two breakfasts and two drinks it cost just over £30, nothing over what you’d expect to pay for two people dining out these days. My only criticism is that my chai latte had a bit too much cinnamon on top for my liking. However I could’ve easily taken it back, I just chose not to.

Stopped here for brunch yesterday and had a lovely experience. The coffee, juice and food were fantastic. All freshly prepared. We sat outside and it was just lovely. The Green Room itself was a welcoming, accessible and tastefully decorated establishment. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be coming again.

Food was good , waited an hour for a simple breakfast and wasn’t busy at all , very dismissive staff bit rubbish really!

Visited for brunch with a friend and was disappointed. The menu was changed for starters leaving me to order Beef short rib hash rather than my usual. I basically paid £10 for a plate of potatoes, dried, burnt scraps of pulled beef and onion with a very small drip of yogurt on top. Very poor meal and a shame as I used to really enjoy the meals here.

Just wanted to say that this used to be my favourite place in swansea . Unfortunately came back about a month later and the menu has changed and the food was extremely disappointing not even mentioning the 45 min wait for the meal . soo I ordered a club sandwich with fries as I didn’t found any of the delicious dishes I had previously on the menu , I payed 13.50£ and the sandwich was alright nothing special was 3 slices of bread in it but the frozen chips was not really cooked my friend meal was even more disappointing. A bowl of potato’s and burnt bits of beef for 10.50£ . Not sure why such a great place changed in this way

London highly priced, but lacking service speed. Coffees were pretty disappointing - I ordered a cappucino and got a latte, friend ordered a latte and got a flat white. It took us 45-50 minutes to get our food from placing an order for toast and pancakes. The food itself was okay but nothing to write home about. One of the poached eggs was overdone. The pancakes were the better part and I will give them credit for them, they were good.

Called in earlier today whilst we were at the Air Show. Spot on, fantastic staff who were both super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. Steve

Set up in Brand New COPR BAY district, next to shiny Arena, the second baby if Guyz standing behind locally loved 'The Secret Beach Bar'- "The Green Room". As a Brunch foodie hub fullfil its function perfectly. Good Welsh Rarebit which I have a chance to try recently, came with very decent lager (made by own micro brewery) all with not long time of waiting and with very friendly service, set up in fab ambient and beautiful views of new coastal park. Everything with acceptable prices! Defo gonna visit again soon or later!

Stopped off for coffee and cake after shopping at Marina Market and thoroughly enjoyed. Reasonable prices with lots of delicious looking cakes on offer and a good range of drinks on offer from coffee to alcoholic The staff were friendly and we didn't wait long for our order.

Absolutely fantastic venue. Food consistently good and the staff are welcoming and efficient. A pity more signage would help visitors find this wonderful venue.

I have passed this venue a few times and decided to try it today for brunch. Situated next to the new arena the location is great. The venue is aesthetically pleasing and smart, loved the seating. We chose from the brunch menu, I had my usual of scrambled eggs on toast. Food was hot, eggs slightly overdone for my liking. But a nice spot if your passing for a coffee or bite to eat. Be aware the parking at the arena is expensive! We paid £3 for 45 mins

Good location and nicely decorated! Food and drink tastes lovely and was nice and hot. Did feel it was overpriced for lunch foods. £13 for a cheese toastie and a size of chips. Did expect a bigger sandwich for that as it was quite small!

Enjoyed a fab lunch here! Loved the tomato and basil soup which was the soup of the day and my partner enjoyed his tofu and pesto on sourdough. Good vegetarian and vegan options. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

Had cafe latte and cake. The latte was so strong that tested more like an expresso. The cake tasted stale and dry. There was no sugar on the table and the jar of water was empty. The waiter did put glasses by the jar but she didn't even notice there was no water. I'll never go there again and will tell my friends not to go.

Service very bad, waitress and chef in kitchen, nobody came out to check for clients. Very disinterested when she came to help...told us what one cake was and walked away, had to ask her to come back. Only had coffee and cake but no sugar in any of the jars, looked on other tables, same. Cake very dried out, no water in the self-help jar and hard to get anyone's attention. The food and sandwiches looked great....I would like to have come back to try but with service like this, I won't!

I ordered the spicy chickpea and spinach soup and I should have checked how spicy because it was extremely hot and spicy. The service is excellent.

Nice little cafe near the arena and new coastal park. If you've just left the beach and need a hot drink...its great. Food is nice.

A nice little place for a quick bite, coffee, tea or cakes. The food is nice, not too spectacular, the staff friendly. The decor is not to my taste, too many conflicting styles are used, but the location is great.

Lovely venue, was a bit chilly so didn't spend time on the garden outside, food delicious and great coffee.

Met friend for coffee. Need to find table then order at counter. Misunderstood that and waited long time for table service! Coffee very nice. Staff friendly but appeared a bit self-absorbed. Will certainly go again.

Enjoyed it, coffee and quality cakes etc on offer. It was busy for those waiting to enter the Arena theatre but we still had reasonable service and it soon settled down once the audience moved on.

Visited the green room for the first time today for a barista coffee as it was such a lovely day in Swansea. The space this business have created is tastefully done while maintaining a family friendly atmosphere. There are both inside and outside seating with additional amenities such as a ping pong table and kids climbing frames. The menus cover breakfast, brunch and specialty american pancakes! Catering as well for children with their kids menu. Cold drinks, hot drinks and alcohol are available with their opening hours clearly listed on Google. Highly recommended as a coffee shop in Swansea whether living here or visiting.

I love this place, I've only ever had their Nutella pancakes because they're so good - I don't want anything else! Quick service, very reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere.

First time today visiting the Green Room. Highly recommend it. Excellent service. Nothing is to much trouble. Clean Tidy lovely atmosphere.

The cafe was clean and had a modern look. I ordered tea, which was very good. The tea was quite expensive, but the food prices were very extortionate. I didn't have any food, so not sure how good it is or portion sizes, it would have to be extremely good to justify the price. The service was OK but not very friendly.

I came in here for a drink and something to eat after my graduation, the staff in there were so helpful and friendly. Especially one of the staff member I think whose name was Luke, he was very accommodating to my mum who is blind.

A very pleasant vibe and surroundings. Food was of a high standard and served impeccably. Nothing seemed to much trouble for the staff and the young man that seems to be in charge. Has it all under control with a pleasant, friendly, courteous manner. Will definitely return.

Lovely Lunch in a beautiful setting. Great interior and exterior. Lovely, helpful and pleasant staff, nothing was too much. Very nice menu with plenty of choice 8 out of 8 would recommend to a mate.

The setting is really beautiful, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is really pleasing. All staff were lovely, luke in particular was very helpful. Quality food and loved the green room lager, so refreshing and great to know it was brewed locally. 100% recommend.

Lovely location,been here a few times for coffee and had the Welsh Rarebit for brunch, was lovely, Luke the manager makes the best Iced coffee in Swansea and that is up against the big chains! This venue is fast becoming a favourite of mine because its so easy to park and nip into town across the bridge and back for coffee,its far more relaxed than other coffee shops in centre. Have to mention the staff they work very hard but they are very friendly nothing is too much trouble. And it is lovely to see the manager Luke hands on including the checking of toilets. Well done guys we will see you soon and again on the 22/10 when we go to see six and have food with you.

Me and my partner went yesterday and the food was stunning I had the chicken club sandwich and it was very tasty and piping hot and it was also a very reasonable price, the staff were also very accommodating and went above and beyond for you.

The mrs had a great time being wined and dined. It's our new favourite lunch spot in Swansea. The staff were great and the service was even better. You will definitely get the bang for your buck. Would highly recommend to a friend!

Really nice coffee shop. Location, coffee and service was excellent. I was slightly disappointed with the freshness of my lemon drizzle cake. My wife enjoyed her hot meal.

Such a great addition to the city centre. Really lovely design inside, great food. Perfect for the arena or just on my daily walks. Always great service too.

The best pancakes ever! Have visited many times to try different dishes, all are full of flavour especially the avocado on toast with a few nice extras and the chicken hash highly reccomend both but the pancakes are the pick of the bunch! Great coffee and lovely vibe! Free parking on weekends in the multi story as well at the moment so makes it really easy to visit

I had such a lovely breakfast at the Green Room this morning for my granddaughters 8th birthday. Although the weather wasn’t great the location is fantastic and the atmosphere inside the venue is wonderful. Very good customer service and you get what you pay for with the food.
