I never really venture into the Green Room but ever since they started serving food I have. The pizzas are very nice and taste freshly made. The staff are really friendly and will keep checking if you'd like another drink. Drinks may be a little expensive but the service is brilliant.

When busy slightly slow on service. Great for a brew or alcohol. Have never eaten here so unable to comment.

Top venue, top service and top evening

A variable crowd. Some nice, some not so nice.

Took part in a group cocktail making session with a marvellous mixologist. His knowledge, patience and humour made the evening so much fun. Our drinks were divinely delicious and we all enjoyed freshly oven hand thrown, oven baked pizzas in the package. Can not recommend this venue it’s wonderful staff and the incredible drinks and food enough.

Me and my wife like to consider ourselves regulars at the green room and tend to drink there maybe 2-3 times a week, usually on a Friday and Saturday. The drinks as usual are always up to a great standard and although we don’t stay in all night the staff working during the day always offer us the best experience! Especially more recently a young man who does the floor service, he always has a friendly smile on his face, and having a laugh with all the other guests also! Overall couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone new to Ormskirk or just looking for a great place to spend time with family and friends!

I came in with two friends after visiting Edge Hill today for a few cocktails after hearing this was where we want to be going in Ormskirk. We weren't disappointed, Sam and Matt were great to us all afternoon, always recommending us off-menu cocktails to go best with our tastes. We also had one of the best pizzas I've ever had and will definitely be coming back when in Ormskirk again.

Drinks very expensive compared to other bars around the area. Double vodka and tonic, pint of peroni £14.75. Won't be visiting again unless Natwest is open across the road for a beer loan. Service very quick and good atmosphere.

We visited on bank holiday Monday late afternoon early afternoon vending. Real dump, tired furniture and decor and really miserable up themselves rude staff. We planned a night but stayed for one drink and left, we won’t return . Don’t bother going

Decent place busy at the weekends ..

Very nice atmosphere were the staff are friendly and welcoming . The only thing is the beer is quite pricey but then again you are paying for the atmosphere again.

Excellent place for casual drink.

We are regulars in this establishment, probably spend £150/200 each week throughout the week in here. 4 of us called in Friday early evening to try the new Pizza menu, all big tables were empty but "reserved", probably for one off customers. Sat in the front window table when it became available ready to order pizzas only to be told that table was also reserved from 6pm. When I asked why is every table reserved was told because it's the most popular busy bar in Ormskirk by an arrogant member of staff. I'm an ex licensee and I would of been horrified by all the people getting turned away from the empty tables at peak early evening time. I'd just seen 8 regulars been asked to move off one of the tables, they were not happy and moved onto another bar.....as we did! Been coming here regularly since it opened, unfortunately this place is dramatically going down hill since the manager Joe left a couple of months ago, very sad to see. If they want to go forward in this way and complety disregard their regulars then good luck to them.

Came here with a group of my friends for one of our 21st Birthday's. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful when it came to recommending items from the menu as one of our friends is vegan. We all had pizza's to share and the goats cheese one was my favourite, definitely worth a try! The cocktails we had were all amazing and arrived very quickly. Will 100% be coming again next time I'm in Ormskirk.

Went to the Green Room and tried out there new pizza menu. Food was great, had the nduja pizza and the pepperoni and both were delicious, hot and fresh. Also tried some cocktails and the staff were very helpful picking some out for us. Highly recommended.

Lovely inside now it's been extended. Would've given 5 stars but the women's toilets were abysmal, missing locks, not flushing, a total let down to the pub

Opportunity not to be missed! Just enjoyed the most amazing pepperoni, tomato and mozzarella pizza. This experience culminated the most amazing flavours. Temperature, music and lighting are exceptional (not forgetting the team of course). I shall be back.

For me, The Green Room is definitely the best bar in Ormskirk. It's great if you're just calling in for a quick drink with a few friends, but equally just as good for spending the whole evening with a group, especially if you book a booth in advance. The staff are always excellent. During busy times, the service can be a little slow, but make the most of the table service and just be patient! Talk to your friends whilst you wait. You're there to socialise after all!

The drinks menu was out of date and the we were charged more for our drinks the staff apologised but I'm sure this is against the law and should be stopped

I completely understand why children are allowed in the daytime and early evening but later on with majority of people drinking alcohol and a little girl with a group of people isn’t a good idea and doesn’t give you the best vibe of a night out, so Green Room, I and numerous others will be voting with our feet and going elsewhere as Ormskirk has a plethora of good bars

Went to the revamped green room for the first time on 13/11/21. The atmosphere was great, the place was packed and the extended space was lush, but…. Trying to get served at the bar was abysmal ! Lots of staff, but I don’t know if they were young , inexperienced , or a combination of the two because they were all over the place … meaning they were up and down the bar , there was no order and certainly no perception of who was waiting to be served , how long they had been waiting the longest or who was next in line. It was awful The bar staff seemed to look at who was in front of them and serve them, irrespective of who had been waiting the longest .. it was absolutely awful, and such a let down.

Lovely big spacious environment for a drink, with great decor and attentive table service with a smile. Friendly atmosphere too. My girlfriend loves the cocktails, but my drinking experience would be even better if there was a cask ale on tap. Go on, give Doom Bar a try, and see what happens!

First time I've been there and it won't be the last staff so friendly really enjoyed it I only had one drink because I was driving but I will be going back

Friendly, attentive staff and drinks were great!

People will mention the new decor, toilets, space etc... but all if that means nothing if the staff aren't top notch... and they are. Fully attentive, quick to ask if you need anything and polite and cheerful.

An absolutely beautiful evening at The Green Room. Joe and the team kept us feeling safe and well looked after. Outstanding choice of cocktails in a superb friendly atmosphere. Would recommend a visit to this bar without hesitation. A really great locally owned independent business. Well done!

My Daughter held her 21st in their nightclub "Mustard" upstairs the staff were brilliant & very helpful. Venue was great, good drinks, highly recommended.

We had a brilliant gym night out there last night. The young bar lad who we got speaking to about fireball was a star. Hope this gets back to him and tell him he needs to try a bottle of fireball out for himself
