Hace poco fui a este pub me sorprendió ver a una mujer entrar con dos perros dejándolos correr por los asientos y patas en la mesa Sirven comida aquí... no digas más.

Fui a almorzar hoy. La parrilla estaba deliciosa. Guinness & Black se mantiene bien y estaba muy bien frío. El personal era amable, profesional y cortés. 😊😊😊

Ha habido un cambio de jefe de cocina en The Grapes - wow, wow, wow! Me vine sola hace una hora para almorzar. Pedí sal y pimienta, gambas reales y ajo naan. Las gambas reales eran deliciosas y de muy buen tamaño, con una fina capa picante encantadora. El naan de ajo era delgado, fresco y realmente delicioso. Solo puedo recomendar la cocina en The Grapes. Absolutely excellent food and service from the grapes. First time visiting there was a really good selection of items On the menu. We opted for a platter, chicken tikka wraps, chicken And prawn curries, samosas and chips. All were well presented, served piping hot and of good quality. Staff were also extremely friendly and welcoming Will definitely be returning regularly Thank you

If you’re looking for authentic and flavourful food, I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough! The food was absolutely fantastic. Credit to their talented Chef. The mixed grill was flavourful & surprisingly this place used chicken breast, which was tender and packed with authentic flavour. The Chefs special “Masala chips with a twist” are to die for. Garlic Naan was soft and fluffy, just as it should be. Thank you for a delicious meal at such a reasonable price. If in the area I highly recommend you pop in. You’re greeted by the owner who really makes you feel welcome. Delicious authentic flavours, reasonable prices and a warm welcome. This place is a hidden gem!!!!

We had our gender reveal here on Sunday 24th April and we couldnt be happier with the service and support they offered through it all. The staff were lovely and made our day extra special, the food was beautiful and overall had the best experience. We couldnt have chose a better pub. Highly Recommend!

Booked a meal for 10 of us service was fantastic very friendly food was excellent and very tasty best curry I’ve tasted in a long time

popped in for a quick pint mid week whilst visiting friends, dont think ill bother again, Drinks are to expensive and its very "clicky" Also overheard a member of staff Offering "Incentives" to a few customers that they were VERY familiar with to leave excellent Reviews for them Additionally noticed a 5star food hygiene rating sticker in the window dated 2020 which cannot relate to them as they are new to the pub, Once i looked this up on Wolverhampton Council website it states "The Grapes are awaiting an inspection"

The food is amazing, the management and staff are so friendly, they welcome everyone with open arms, always amazing atmosphere when you go.

The staff are rude & arrogant, will not accept your complaints about the fact the food tasted like it was cooked last week & microwaved, disgusting!! They made us pay for food that went uneaten, since we all valued our well being more!! Ended up going home HUNGRY!!

It was such a pleasure to go back into our local, the new owners Vic and Sat are amazing made us feel so welcome nothing was too much trouble ordered great food in for birthday celebration made room special staff were so friendly will returning soon 😊 well done guys

Visited The Grapes with a few friends and family. The new owners Satty n Vix made us feel really welcome and safe. Their staff are polite and friendly and checked in on us often. Wonderful, family friendly atmosphere. Clean and spacious, with a lovely beer garden and a play area for the kids. Perfect relaxed environment for the whole family. Will definitely come again and would recommend to visit.

We went for a lovely meal and drinks-great atmosphere. The new owners Vik and Sat were very professional and amazing at making sure we we comfortable, we were served and just generally looked after us. There was a nice family friendly feel to the place which felt relaxed along with keeping up with the current covid restrictions which we observed in general. Definitely will come back again and will highly recommend it to our friends and family.

We had a lovely meal there early evening on Saturday 1st August As always we enjoyed our meals nice welcome from Adam & staff Adapted to social distancing now Small meal is ok for me but husband usually as a steak or mixed grill He enjoyed Gammon chips I usually have scampi but love their cottage pie chips peas

Went to the grapes for a catch up and meal with a workmate , staff are friendly, place is clean, beer is good aa well as the food is good well cooked pub grub . Will certainly visit again . Never caught the gaffers name but he and the staff were very welcoming .

Well went last week to a funeral wake never been before and was impressed with the food. Noticed they did a small appetite 12-3 (not a lot of places do this normally Childs menu) so today we took my 92yr old mom for the small menu 2 courses £5.35 mom had the gammon & pineapple chips & peas & french pancake with ice cream & chocolate sauce. I had the breaded scampi peas & chips homemade apple crumble & custard also from the small menu. Hubby had barbecue chicken bacon and cheese melt from the normal menu. The staff are very friendly & when we arrived was informed if my mom was cold suggested we went into the little back room where the table was right by the radiator. The surrounds were a little basic but the food the welcome & the quickness of service was really good and made up for the surrounds. Will we be going again OH YES. Hope the word gets out to the local pensioners for the small appetite menu.

I have visited this place twice and on both occasions had a bad experience. The first time I visited we were told we could eat but had to be out by 8pm as there was a funeral party arriving, we stayed till 9pm and no such party arrived. The second time we visited we were treated really badly by a member of staff who was very rude and it was impossible to get served even though it wasn't busy. I ordered a mixed grill for my disabled friend and a side salad which I paid extra for, but when it came out there wasn't any chips and I was told I had salad instead I tried to explain I paid extra for the salad but the member of staff kept walking off and I had to chase after her to explain that I had paid the extra, which I didn't get an apology or the chips. The grill was cold and my meal was over microwaved and the peas were like bullets. Myself and my friends will not be going again.

Regularly go here with the family. Kids love playing outside in the playground. Food is nice at a great price. Can’t go wrong

Visited here on a quiet afternoon, waited 20 minutes at the bar to order as only one woman was serving, to then be ignored, ended up walking out, won’t bother next time.

I visited yesterday for Sunday lunch, the value for money is excellent and the food is of very high quality, the drinks also are very reasonably priced, the staff are all lovely too. I have eaten here 4 times now within the last 9 months and have had different dishes, I have been eating here for over 20 years, every meal I have had has been lovely. The portions sizes are very very good. There is a room which can be used to segregate from the main dining area, ideal for a private sit down meal/buffet. There are ample parking spaces too.

Went in today first time. Food was very nice, presented well and very tasty. Pub has a nice ambience and prices are good. We had the mushroom stroganoff, veggie burger, chicken burger and fish and chips. The fish was nice dry and crispy. Everything was 10/10.

I enjoy the food at the grapes, the service is always good, staff are very welcoming. The food is fresh like home made.

My Husband is doing Slimming World plan, and Adam, Becky and the Team have always been wonderful with requested slight changes to to help him keep on track. The Salads are really the Best in Bilston, we dine there at least once a week, as the food is always delicious & freshly prepared. The Management & the Team are always very welcoming.

Just back from a horrendous journey home from Tenerife and the friendly welcome from these guys made us feel so much better. Great choice of drinks, lovely food.

Wanted to stay local for my husbands birthday, sectioned off back area for us as there was 25 of us. All ordered different meals and there wasn't one bad one between us. All came out at the same time and piping hot, great value for money. Really friendy, attentive staff. Would definitely recommend for either a quiet meal for two or a larger party

I went here for a birthday dinner on New Year’s Day to celebrate with my family. The food was spot on and my kids were even happy and occupied the whole time thanks to the lovely new play area they have outside. Nothing was too much for the staff and I found the place really warm, welcoming and clean. Will definitely be going again soon (I have little choice as my kids keep asking to go again). Top marks for a top pub restaurant.

I went there on a Saturday with my wife to have a drink and something to eat. We had a lovely welcome and we really enjoyed our visit. The food and drinks were excellent value and we will be coming back.

Me and my partner often visit the grapes. The staff and management have always been welcoming and offer a positive, friendly service no matter how busy. Their food is prepared and cooked to a high standard and is always delicious and on point! (the steaks and tikka sizzler is a personal favourite) . . I only drink Guinness and the grapes provide one of the best in the whole area, along with other ales. Thank you to all the team for your hard work and always making us feel welcomed! Will see you again very soon!!

Visited as a couple and ordered a Sunday roast. The portion size was larger than expected, full of taste and thoroughly enjoyed. The waitresses were attentive and chatty, as were the bar staff. The kitchen staff came out at the end of service and said hello too. A friendly, home from home feel and an absolute credit to the management. Well done guys xx

Used to work at a local car dealership, nearby to The Grapes. Enjoyed going in for a beer, especially in the summer. Found the staff friendly and attentive. Remembered your name when you came in. Never eaten there but it always looked good and a lot of people were eating there, and I mean a lot.

One of the best pub food had in a while, Chicken Soup severed hot, fishcake tasty ,Garlic baguette Slices with Bacon and cheese topping Moorish, streaks cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth with Chunky Chips .Liver and Mash nice also the chicken skewer with rice very nice.

Came here to have lunch with family and friends and enjoyed it very much. The Grapes is very pleasant inside more restaurant than pub and the food is really nice.l had a garlic bread cheesey starter fish and chips and ice cream with choc sauce. The two courses menu was really good value and cost less than one course in most pubs. Will go again.

We went for a family meal to celebrate my daughter's birthday ,I had never been to the pub before I can honestly say I was surprised what a great bar we had varied meals I opted for a small beef dinner it was gorgeous lovely fresh veggies and beautifully cooked beef I had a taste of the chilli beef it was perfection I am looking forward to my next visit service was second to none lovely staff and a very warm welcome

We have visited this pub twice for midweek lunch and each time have come away happy.

I visited with a group o various friends of varied ages. The staff were incredible and worked hard to ensure our visit was enjoyable, especially Zoe who deserves a special mention. Food great and all in all a really great place to eat and drink!! ⚽️

Visited the grapes, on the 6th of September. And what can i say, Food was amazing, I'd advise anyone to try the mix grill. The fish and chips was very filling. Food was piping hot. Staff polite and very friendly. Will be returning again soon!

Impromptu lunch in Bilston and the Grapes was recommended through TripAdvisor. It was refreshing to find a privately run pub/restaurant that had a menu that could compete with the usual chains. My husband and I had the gammon special we were very happy with the quality of the meat and presentation, the food remained hot throughout on the metal griddle and did not over cook. My mum, in her 80's enjoyed the light bite fish and chips - though she would have been happier if the food was on a larger plate. She also had a generous portion of apple pie and custard. We had a fascinating chat to the owner who gave us advice about booking in advance for evening and weekend meals - I understand Sunday lunches are often a sell out. It was great to find genuine people who want to provide an excellent service - they have installed a fabulous children's area in the garden. He remarked on how important it was for him to have all kinds of people catered for. When next in Bilston I will certainly go to the Grapes again .. supporting local people who specialise in using local products !

Had a lovely meal here for my dad's 70th birthday couldn't fault the staff, the food or the service. The guy behind the bar who I assume was the landlord was so passionate about what he was trying to achieve with knowing the traceability of the steak he using on his menu. Beautiful thank you

We use this pub regular, and there are many reasons for this, but the main reason for eating here is the wide variety of foods, portion sizes and competitive prices. On this particular occasion i had the mixed grill and went large, it was a beast to handle but was well worth the fight, without doubt the best mixed grill around, dare you to give it a go.Friendly staff, great selection of beers, easy to get to and both front and back outside benches and tables make this a great pub to visit whether its for food or for just a relaxing drink.

Visited the Grapes for a nice family meal. Didn't leave dissapointed. Had 3 courses and a few drinks and went home with change and very happy full bellies. Food was cooked to perfection and I had something made for me that wasn't on the menu . Will be dining here again.

Went to the grapes for a meal with my daughter and her fiance had a lovely two course meal for under £6. We have been coming here for years since Anne marie and the team first came here. Fab little local, lovely friendly staff food, and drink excellent we cannot fault this pub. Ignore previous negative comments it's all lies.

Miserable bar staff, disgusting beer and very unwelcoming. It feels like everything is an inconvenience to them. Take my advice and don't bother!

Visited on a Monday lunch with my husband and mom, as always gorgeous food and excellent service. Staff are friendly and courteous especially Angie who works so hard and never stops running around making sure everyone is ok. Would recommend the Breakfast which is served from 12-5 Mon-Fri for just £2.95 it is outstanding. All in all I am proud this is my local and encourage you to visit.

Lush dinner real potatoes not packet rubbish and tasty home made gravy followed by a lovely warm jam sponge and ice cream yum!

Went for lunch with the family. Pleasant enough atmosphere and freindly staff, but the food is woeful. Ordered a steak medium rare that was well done, that also looked like a piece of shoe leather. Husband ordered the stacker burger that turned out to be just one burger with onions and bacon which means it can be called a stacker. Not worth the money

Came for a nice cool beer and a bit to eat, staff warm and welcoming, and was able to order a sandwich that wasnt on the menu, was bought to our table outside in a timely manner.Well done to all

four of us went to The Grapes last night and had yet another fantastic evening there. They now have new dishes on the menu to choose from. 2 of our party had the lamb and mint pudding with mash and seasonally veg. Another 1 had liver onions and mash and the other member of our group had the beef chilli fry. All the meals came out piping hot and could not be faulted. Adam and his staff make you so welcome from the time you arrive until the time you leave. We enjoyed it so much we are going back again next week for a birthday meal. Well done to you all.

6 of us visit here about once a month for an evening meal.The Grapes offer a good choice of food also a specials board.Food is reasonably priced, well cooked and nicely presented.I would recommend the Beef Chilli, a generous portion of tender beefbeautifully spiced with fiery chilli and served with rice and a naan bread.Adam, Annie and staff are welcoming and accommodating. In all a greatplace to eat.

Went for a family meal and as always it was outstanding. The food was hot and delicious and the staff were friendly and hospitable. I will definitely be revisiting, full marks to the chef for a lovely experience.

Great food, highly recommend the mixed grill. Staff are, on the most part, friendly and helpful. They aren't very acconodating however, if you plan to visit in a large group, they won't allow you to push tables together.Seems a bit hit and miss on how warm of a welcome you receive by the management, depending what day it is, sometimes very warm and friendly, other times cold as a rock.Toilets are very dated and in desperate need of an update, but the rest of the venue is spotlessly clean. Sometimes a bit bright with powerful CFL's everywhere but overall work a visit.
