Reply was yes but how long being 2.59pm (closes at 3pm) Said 20 mins...OKAY pls no longer...No 1 won't name etc 1 turns up at 3.49pm if 1 was 6 more mins late dogs dinner.. WELL WENT LARGE FOR INCONVENIENCE...,BUT WOT AHAPPY ACCIDENT THE LAMB 3/4 THICK SLICE'S WAS TURLY FIT FOR A KING 👑 Ps Got little stick from chef...before...but. 4.5/5... Had my 30th birthday party there and it was great! The staff were amazing and polite, the service was fast. The atmosphere was fun and we didn’t have to wait to be served. The locals were kind and wished me happy birthday and the DJ was great! Even when my husband was planning it, the staff were helpful and kind. Thank you so much for an amazing night! I am very grateful

Organised my wife’s birthday party here and it was amazing they helped me get a DJ and sorted a great buffet for a good price they even helped me decorate for the party service was amazing as well nobody waited more than a minuet to be served even the regular customers were great as they clear of the part area and were very polite respectful amazing pub and il defiantly be coming back

Been here a few times, there are always locals and regulars frequenting the pub. They do not always serve food, but the drinks are quality and very affordable, you'd be hard pressed to find a more decently priced pint than at the Grapes.

Love the grapes, an old pub crawl haunt, still got the same vibe . Great prices and some old regulars still about. Sandy is a great landlord.proper Sunday roast just like your mum or nan used to make, go there people and trest yourself you won't regret it. Banging roast sandy.

I'm a regular here, it's one of my locals. No idea what the last reviewer is on about. The pub did an amazing job getting through the pandemic. I'm guessing 'Nathan' has never run a pub or had to work 7 days a week day and night for extended periods. The pub finally has some more staff. It's always been friendly and welcoming and the Sunday roast is a bargain. The beer is well kept and apart from the odd roudy local (myself not included of course) it's a great pub.

Absolutely brilliant! I had a small Sunday lunch ( £7.00p ) and it was very good. Properly cooked with fresh vegetables and a real gravy. More than enough for me, and I'm a big eater!.The real ale was also in excellent condition, (not easy to find a decent pint of GK IPA in Cambridge! ) I had several pints so 'nuff said! Well worth a visit, Tanya & Sandy are very welcoming.

Very friendly and grounded vibes. The Grapes offers something too few pubs in cambridge do - a home. It’s not a tourist pub, nor a bar, but a proper local.

Not great service, I had a Pimm's and it didn't have any mint/cucumber/summer fruits in it.

Wonderful, home cooked delicious food. Second visit there and food just as amazing! Lovely welcome tok.

Not very clean working-men's ambience with games, pool table, darts etc. Beer (choices) kept well with ample variety of wines and spirits. Car park behind, morning breakfasts and live music at weekends a definite plus.

Not one of Cambridge’s finer pubs - has definitely seen better days. Has more of a ‘working men’s’ atmosphere than the regular Greene King vibe. Variety of pubs sports on offer, typical beer and ale range, old-fashioned pub tables and chairs, grubby and smudged whiteboards and metallic tasting Guinness. A little rough around the edges all in all and was kept waiting whilst being served. Not for me.

Bar staff very friendly and welcoming with good beer and good live bands.

Great"local" experience. Clean, bright and relaxing (and that's just some of Sandy, the manager's best attributes). Nine's a treble vodka Red Bull with a Nelson to wash it down.....cheers!!!

One of the last 'home from home' pubs in Cambridge with a warm welcome for anyone. They take pride in their pumps, beer tastes great and a have well maintained pool table and some cracking live bands for entertainment. Proper boozer.

We went to the grapes to meet up With my cousin and some friends for his birthday. It's a real pub with real people great welcome from all the staff and regulars. We will defiantly be going back

Atmosphere is bland. Beer selection is limited. Staff is nice. Food choices, although I did not eat here, are minimal and grossly basic.

We passed by the pub under the pouring rain. Food. Drenching. Liquid. Swiftly decided to go in. The pub as far as pubs go is not bad at all. Food not my favourite but I was not expecting a table d' when we decided to go in. The kick in the food was actually pleasant. My boiled rice a bit of a disgrace, though, straight from the micro, unfluffed and actually pretty cold pretty soon. As I said, cannot praise, cannot complain. Certainly the pub served its purpose and there seemed to be several happy regulars having a chat, sharing some food or playing snooker. Friendly and relaxed service. You may want to check it our yourself.

I went to The Grapes few weeks ago for the first time and I loved the food, I've never had Thai cuisine before. So today I went a second time and as I expected the food was great again... The just gained a new regular customer. Thanks to the Chef

I currently only pop in there on a Wednesday night as they run a Karaoke on that night, but the pub is friendly and they serve real ale which is great.

Very friendly children and dogs welcome.Food avaible.
