The Gourmet Burger Kitchen - Ealing in Ealing

I just had the the disgrace to walk into this place with my wife and two babies. I went to order at the counter and a very young boy put me off completely and made me lose my appetite because while I was ordering he was constantly touching his nose and picking dirt from his ear and throwing it down like it was nothing! I did tell him he shouldn’t do that but he was so rude and didn’t care about what I was talking about: “Hygiene”. Very dirty and unprofessional place and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here because you might find some boogers in your food! I walked out so angry and I will never go to this place ever!

Excellent restaurant, great food and Mônica's service was very good.

Overall it was a good place with nice vegan options and their vegan burger was delicious made with a bean patty. Although I just wish it wasn’t that deep fried. Their beef burger was good too but that too had too much of oil. I personally prefer their skinny fries over chunky fries. Unfortunately couldn’t try their lemonade or other drinks because they were out. Restroom was not in a good condition

I ordered online, despite of the fact that I waited almost 1,5h for my food and it arrived cold and soggy, half of it was missing!!! Ridiculously small portion of fries and less than a half side pot of sauce. Quality and quantity not worth the money. Clearly no one knows anything about food in there, they should be shut down.

Terrible. Freezing cold, dirty water bottles. Service non-existent. It was empty and I can see why!

GBK in Ealing is a special treat for me and the family and recently every time we have gone they have been consistently good. GBK burgers are perfectly cooked and great value, i don't understand how people go to the Five Guys nearby over GBK this is much better. They also just started doing table service which is a nice touch

Good as I remember , totally meeting the standards that I was expecting ! we had a warm welcoming from Nicoletta which is been really professional and kind with all our requests . Ordered on Deliveroo, phoned +442089980392 for allergy notes, told to call first, cancelled order, called back, told don't do allergy notes. Deliveroo offered to leave them, but there's no point. I'm sure the food it great so food 5/5.

I work in the City and sometimes is hard to cook at home. GBK is a very good and healthy alternative (grilled chicken is my favourite). Eleni is very professional and always very helpful! Zanda & Nikoletta are excellent hosts. They make sure you have everything you want and their service is superb! Thank you!

Very nice burger. Great that they also let you pick how you want it cooked, very few restaurants in UK do this. Medium rare means it’s juicy on arrival at the table. Lovely melted blue cheese on top. Asked for half bun, so just the bottom which was not soggy at all. My friend also enjoyed her burger, fresh and delicious. Not bad on price, you’d pay the same at 5 guys which is well over rated, over priced and usually over cooked!

The best burgers we had in a long time. Served by a wonderful Male Staff member who helped my daughter choose a burger due to her allergies. Now we know where to come for burgers in future with the family. Thank you for taking care of us.

Went for dinner with Dad and 20 something niece who has a nut allergy. Was asked by staff when ordering if any allergies and mentioned this. They immediately checked all the items my niece could eat , even made her wash her hands when she touched the ketchup bottle and gave her individual sachets that had been kept aside . Provided a heater for my Dad as he felt cold , which was so thoughtful and nice. Manager checked on us a couple of times. I was so impressed and my niece and I went to thank him before we left. You would never get this level of customer care or positive atmosphere via a delivery !! Thank you GBK !

Absolutely very nice place. Very busy on weekends. Food very delicious and friendly staff, however they're focus on deliveries mainly. Worth to come in and have good time. Manager ( man, I forgot his name ) very helpful and super nice personality. Place old fashioned, they should change design, but overall worth it.

used to love GBK. Now it’s got new owners who don’t care about the brand or the quality. Tasteless burgers, horrible delivery service. I had a burger missing from my order, called the restaurant and they were so rude on the phone. Said it’s not their problem and that I need to resolve with Uber. What? You packed the delivery bag and didn’t include a £12 burger Really expensive for bland food. Avoid

GBK has always been my go to for a burger place but since lockdown when we’ve started getting it delivered the majority of our orders have had an issue. Either the food is cold, we’ve received half of the wrong order, sauces aren’t removed from burgers as specified, and we generally can’t order what we want as removing or adding to the burger is limited on Uber Eats and Deliveroo (not sure whether the restaurant or platform is responsible for this). Today was the last straw - as mentioned above you are not able to remove some ingredients from a number of the burgers. I really like the blue cheese burger but am unable to remove the onion jam on the apps so I haven’t ordered it for a long time. GBK have now added sauces as a separate extra including the blue cheese sauce so I ordered it separately to add to a plain beef burger. For some reason it was added to my sister’s chicken burger instead. So now neither of us had the burger we wanted. In addition the sweet potato fries were stone cold when they arrived. I only have myself to blame - why did I keep ordering from them? Well, the food is pretty good, especially the burgers, as long as it’s not cold and is actually what we ordered. But they appear to have stopped doing the super skinny fries so there’s nothing that will keep me ordering from them.

Burgers cooked to order are a very pleasant experience in the restaurant with delicious range of sauces. Garlic mayo was a blast and had a Rocket Man burger which is a great option for those who like spicy food.

Generally good burgers, nice clean restaurant. Friendly staff overall great place. On a down side they recently stopped the green / red sauces.

nice place to get a decent meal. Came in Friday night and a group of almost 20 come in at about 10:15pm(was just before they closed I guess). But the staff managed everything and seemed so happy to serve everyone. Friendly place.

The staff were rude and spent the whole time chatting at the counter. We weren't given any cutlery and condiments. When we asked for something, the waitress gave us attitude. The tables and chairs were dirty and we wiped it ourselves. We will not be coming here again.

TaxiDriver chicken burger is really good, skin on fries also cooked to perfection. San Miguel pint on tap was flat and Brooklyn beer wasn’t available, very dissapointing on the drinks which was a let down for this branch

Came for a quick takeaway and thought I’d give these drinks a try while I was waiting…although it sounds a little funky it tastes quite nice for a healthy alcoholic drink! Definitely not for everyone though! I ordered the mighty (big appetite) and some skinny fries (for my figure ofcourse) and it was delightful! Give my thanks to the chef

A manager and all of kitchen staff are not cleaver and not professional at all. Especially a manger. Ordered 4 burgers, 4 sides and 2 milkshakes. But what they packed is 1 burger and 1 sides. They can not read and count numbers. They must haven’t been to secondary school. Maybe they have been to only reception!? No apology, no redelivery order but took money. I had to spend a time with my credit card company to stop transaction. What a wasting my time on weekend because of those unprofessional not clever people. They must be completely bunch of “ixxxts”

The staff are always friendly and helpful here and there is a decent amount of space to spread out with the family, buggies etc.

Ordered takeaway last night via Uber eats, food arrived cold despite living 2 mins down the road. Also paid extra for cheese and didn’t get any! The cluck free burger is probably the best non-meat burger I’ve had since turning vegetarian. Please keep this one on the menu .... amazing!

The food is great and i love the skinny fries, but ordering from deliveroo is horrendous. Our order was pushed back an Hour and a half, and when we eventually got it, it was freezing cold. Microwaving it doesn't help. Don't order this from deliveroo.

Such a bad experience. This place should be run as a take away only. We seated in the dining for a long time with no food and no customer service while delivery are prioritised. Do not recommend this place

I enjoyed my lunch, good service average burger, the burger didn't have the normal amount of cheese, would have been better if it was a proper cheese burger.
