The Good Stuff Caribbean Cuisine in Kirklees

The food is absolutely delicious. I always order from here and the food is wow amazing. I will definitely return back for more food. I would definitely recommend this takeaway. Great tasting food 5 stars !!!!!

I think it's a shame when people come on Tripadvisor just to slate small businesses. My partner and I popped in to this little takeaway place (now in central Hudds near the train station, not in Lockwood), as we work nearby and were hungry in the early evening, and Huddersfield is really lacking in places where you can have a snack after lunchtime! This place didn't disappoint! We found the food had great flavour, and really generous portions! We tried a few different dishes and really liked them all, and the owner was friendly and polite, and even gave us a taste of her non-alcoholic punch! We haven't seen her open since we went in, and are worried that she has had to close. It seems she's been having some trouble with one neighbouring business in particular, whose owner has employed bullying tactics to close down her kitchen because the smell of Caribbean cooking is too strong. But when you have your business on the same road as five or six different eating establishments, that seems a bit rich? Do they cause problems for Harvey's, the Indian restaurant across the road, the noodle place, The Crown, Cosy Kitchen, or QFC? Or is it just the Good Stuff? Get a grip, and let people make a living doing what they love and are good at. Same to the 1* reviewers here. Great food, and we'll be back if and when the Good Stuff reopens! 5* from us.

Just order Mutton curry, chicken curry, beef Pattie, Mac & cheese salt fish and callaloo dumplings woow what a joke everything was tasteless, I’m still waiting for the salt at least to kick through let alone the actual curry seasoning was never expecting this level of bad cooking ,Mac and cheese never that, beef patties honestly was the worst I’ve ever tasted the mince beef omg I instantly spat it out the pastry was from how it’s meant to taste, I can honestly say it was the worst Caribbean food I’ve had in a long time. The Good stuff , your food does not live up to your name. I can 100 percent say I would not be ordering from you guys again you have literally ruined all my favourite meals Btw this is me being polite good luck

Wow!! What an evening!! Ordered food at 6.30..!!! 7.50 no show!! 16 calls later.... A few hungry mouths!! 3 kids! Lies on delivery... told them exactly where we are:. Told us they have missed us and got on the Motorway by mistake!! Lies.. when they were 5 minutes from us and then no word from them.. Seriously 16 calls.. now had to go to KFC!! ( not by choice but local )!!! Please don’t trust them!! They lie......
