Compact pub selling an interesting and varied selection of (mainly Good Chemistry) ales, without being too pretentious about it. It’s small, but there is a fair amount of seating & a small beer garden (or yard). Has a nice laid back feel; the sort of place to play a game of cards, or just enjoy a drink or two.

Very nice pub, excellent beer, always fresh, unfortunately they do not think my money is good enough for them and do not accept cash, I've fallen on hard times and all my cards are blocked, I only had cash.

I'd been meaning to go for ages, lived up to the hype. Tasty beers, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The mulled cider was a great Christmas addition.

I went in with an injury and I was Helped to a table and they offered me some water. After 15 minutes both the bar staff were looking at their phones and hadn't given it to me so I had to call my boyfriend to ask me to take me home. I offered to pay for something but they didn't take cash. I wanted to show support for the business but that wasn't an option. I'm not sure if this is true according to Andrew. When the old waitress was that it was really friendly but the same staff that she said to speak to ignored me and it was really embarrassing having to put my legs up and ask Other people to help me on the next door table interrupting their conversation. Andrew said that he thought that I was too old but I'm only in my 40s and I don't really appreciate discrimination against people with Motor impairments or based on age bias oh something that I didn't do because I thanked them for their help but it just didn't happen.

Lovely place. Nice and cosy with lots of nice drinks on offer. The quiz is hosted by a great guy who is very engaging and fun.

It's a really good vibe here. The drinks are great. This will definitely be a place. I'll be going often

Lovely pub - very modern, airy and light. Great wheat beers and stouts but no incredible ale (at least according to my partner)! Always very friendly service.

I think this is my favourite pub in the city. Super chill, great beers, great bar staff. A good Monday quiz and monthlyish tap takeovers from the best UK breweries.

Great pub but all beers were unfined on my visit , so I didn’t drink them as they give me “trouble downstairs “, shame there couldn’t be at least one non vegan option but everything on cask and in can I was told was unfined. I’m not sure what % of population is vegan but I wasn’t catered for here , great pub otherwise, lovely brewers and cask beer generally.

Went today for the Squawk tap take over, first time I've been. Lovely little bar, great sized inside and outside seating as long as it doesn't get too busy. The bartender Maeve was awesome! super friendly, and clearly knows and loves her craft (not just beer but her chosen job)

Stumbled upon this on a wander round Bristol (not local) and liked it so much we came back the next day! Excellent beer with friendly, knowledgeable service. Great atmosphere - really relaxed. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Bristol.

Fab! Quirky pub in central Bristol, 'cosy' seating indoor & out, great beers. I am not a regular in Bristol but really enjoyed Good Chemistry Brewing on draft. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Best place on earth only feel truly content when I’m in the good mesure this place is the source of my happiness and when I’m not around it it’s the source of my depression. The staff are perfection and deserve the world. I love them. Particularly the fit one. Many a night spent here many a girl brought home 👍

Nice pub, good ales and chilled vibe, it's a little on the pricey side for me, but I guess that's because it's a small venue with decent drinks and local suppliers so you get what you pay for.

Fantastic little pub, owned by the Good Chemistry brewery. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the draft selection is mainly local, in the bottle fridge you can find some real gems. Sometimes they have Japanese pop up kitchen or cheese boards. Keep up!

I've only been in recently, to get a takeaway selection of beers, but man can I recommend it! Excellent beer, as you would expect, but also a friendly face behind the 'till' who I ended up learning quite a bit about cider from too (they have a small selection of good quality cider bottles in the fridge too!)

nice friendly local pub. its a tad small on the inside but that doesnt take away from its charm. Alongside the good beer selection was some lovely Asian inspired small plates all reasonably well priced.

Only had one whilst waiting in the area, choosing one was hard though as there was too many good looking options. Great atmosphere and fitting of the area.

A friendly bar, nice for a quiet one, try the brown ale nectar or any of there changing ale list. Oh and the grubs good.

Charming little place. Tucked away on a quiet backstreet, it feels like a hidden gem. The bar staff were friendly, it's a simple cosy place for a quiet drink with friends.

This place is always awesome. Great staff, good beer and candlelit in the evenings which gives it a nice cosy atmosphere and is kinder to us more mature folk!

As a Canadian in the UK I never thought I would have a local until The Good Measure recently opened in Redland. Amazing beer. Great staff. Lovely space with indoor and outdoor seating, and now even serve food! What more can you ask for? Definitely worth a visit if even for just a cheeky drink on the way home.
