The Good Breakfast in North Somerset

Initially the food was good, however I realised the sausage tasted almost like it was Chinese flavoured which was strange but not enough to feel something was wrong. It was only once we had finished eating that the Welcome Break changed the sign from Good Breakfast to Chopsticks and we realised this must’ve been cooked in the same pan, not an issue at the time, however we spent the holiday we were on with upset stomachs, wouldn’t recommend eating here, there’s obviously cross contamination going on.

Expensive, small portions and they charge £2.25 for toast as it doesn't come with the trad breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Never paid more than a tenner for such a small traditional breakfast. Not worth it.

Wanted breakfast as had long drive home , when turned up at 10am they say there were closing for breakfast so they can prepare Chinese food for 12pm!, really???!!! Need 2 hrs to prepare!! Come on!! The clue is in the title BREAKFAST not curry’s!

Had a bacon roll here. Bacon was of good quality and tasted good. The queue was ridiculously long and the staff, although pleasant and polite, seemed to do a lot of running around for very little result.

Good but you have to pay extra for toasts

Not great for the money, my veggie breakfast was ok, but I couldn't eat the egg it was grilled to death. . My husband struggled with his too, the bacon wasn't pleasant and some of the toast was burnt. The staff were friendly

Got to the front of the queue with loads of food in the hot hold cabinet to be told "Closed" by the man behind the till. Very rude

For the first time I saw that when ordering a full English breakfast for £9 I did not receive bread, for bread, i.e. two slices, I had to pay an additional £1.99! In my opinion, this is a simple scam and scamming customers for extra money! The food itself is ok. Food £9 + bread £1.99 + coffee (small) £3.50. Is the food in the photo worth £14.50?🤔🤔

Very slow service. I think I ate more grease than food. Disgusting. Won't return

I came here to give a not so good review & see others got here first! £7 for a sausage bap and a cup of tea. No butter in the bap. No fresh milk. Three cheap sausages. Nothing good about that.

I had misfortune of having full English breakfast at Welcome Break Gordano on the M5 while I charged my car (2 chargers one out of order) Sausages ok bacon like cardboard undiscribable looking fried egg hash browns and mushrooms. toasts was good

Don’t go here. We were waiting half a hour before we even ordered our food thought they were just having a rush but actually watching them, in the whole time we were queuing they had only served 2 orders! They didn’t know what they were doing. After waiting 45mins, we ended up wanting a refund. We were REFUSED! They closed at 11 they said, even though their website says it closes at 1, and that they were just about to plate it up for us. Got the food and it was cold, the cutlery were filthy, and the fried eggs were still raw inside ( the whites) . Good breakfast more like BAD BREAKFAST! Honestly it was the worst breakfast ever!

Just had an early breakfast in gordsno services, the first thing I noticed was the cutlery was filthy when the food came it wasn't hot and the bacon and sausage was almost inedible and don't appreciate warmed up food 0 stars and would rather go without than eat here. Good breakfast needs renaming

Breakfast was cold, bacon and mushrooms were disgusting and given the wrong tea after they forgot to give us our teas! We were the first people to order when they opened so no excuse for cold food. Worst £25 I've ever spent on Breakfast.
