Coates House in North Somerset

Was quoted 10- 15 minutes for 2 coffees which seemed odd as it wasn’t that busy. Waited 30 minutes in total.

There are little nuances of service and quality between all the different Costas I have visited. For some unfathomable reason this Costa tucked away in a little hospital is head and shoulders above all the others.

Initially the food was good, however I realised the sausage tasted almost like it was Chinese flavoured which was strange but not enough to feel something was wrong. It was only once we had finished eating that the Welcome Break changed the sign from Good Breakfast to Chopsticks and we realised this must’ve been cooked in the same pan, not an issue at the time, however we spent the holiday we were on with upset stomachs, wouldn’t recommend eating here, there’s obviously cross contamination going on.

Food was mediocre at best for the price. Chicken burgers had zero crispiness, everything was soggy and lacked flavour. Have decided not to order BK again. Staff were nice & coped well considering it was quite busy. It’s just not worth the money.

Possibly the worst subway I have ever had employees had no interest in customer service would rather flirt with each other. Sandwich wasn’t toasted properly bread tasted like it was a couple of days past it. Stay away also I’d advise conducting a CDT for the employees at this store..
