Great Friday Night Meal with Friends My friend said I would like it you were wrong I LOVED IT. Great Service, Great Great Food, and Just a lovely calm dining experience with four friends a real taste of Turkey. Food was promised to be the 'best' by Manager Jan when we sat down and he wasn't lying. Three of us shared the Family Platter lovely juicy Lamb Chops, Pork Ribs that were succelent, Beautifully cooked Lamb Shish, and Chicken that was lovely and just not dry at all. All onto of well cooked fries and fragant rice, it was filling but we couldnt stop diving in. Our friends had different to us one had Shish and Chips with a fresh vibrant salad, and another Halloumi Wrap ..her words Gorgeous. A glass of the wonderful EFES (or two)Beer was welcome. There is a full menu lots of choice and cater for all tastes. Service by young lady (sorry we didnt get your name ) was polite ,professional and patient...as we took our time to decide ...thank you two for holding the door open for us when we left...its the little bits that make you come back and appreciate good service. The chefs/cooks are within view and they work hard at making sure your meal is excellent. Starters of lovely turkish bread and a selection of beautiful dips(chilli one WOW) and Olives. All in all great value a great way tro share a meal with friends and friendily welcoming staff in a clean, well run resturants, oh by the way the toilets are clean and hygenic. I have visited the Golden Skewer many times as we live in the area. The staff here are always friendly, food freshly cooked to perfection and at decent prices too! Over the years we have got to know Yan and his family well and I can honestly say they are very friendly, professional people who take pride in their business and making sure their customers are always looked after. If you're looking for great authentic Turkish food at reasonable prices in nice chilled surroundings then give this restaurant a go. You won't be disappointed.

Ordered three lamb shish and other items. Came to £68 delivery one hour wait Lamb was so tough we could hardly eat it Salad and rice very small. So disappointed as birthday celebration. Not at all like it used to be. Rang to let them know in case they had a dodgie batch of lamb But they were not interested. Avoid lamb shish at £14 much more expensive than it should be and unedible.

Еда вся вкусная, белый соус это просто пушка, барашка обалденная, без единого запаха, любое блюдо которые бы вы здесь не заказали будет вам по вкусу 👍👍👍 Обслуживание всегда на высшем уровне! Единственное, столик нужно бронировать заранее!!! Но для меня это плюс, а не минус)) ведь мы не одни))) Всегда заранее бронируем столик и получаем кайф))) как от блюд, так от атмосферы заведения!!! Meeting up with a group of friends we enjoyed a lovely Turkish meal. The food was hot, tasty and brought with a smile from the young girl who attended to us. I have been to this restaurant several times and always the food has not disappointed. Shall be returning again.

Just had a fantastic take-away from the Golden Skewer tonight. Ordered 1 X Golden Platter. Food ready on time & very good portions. Very tasty & great customer service. Thank you.

Doesn’t even deserve one. Ordered for delivery .Food arrived after an hour and a half (when it said 30 mins) and was stone cold and inedible. Completely unacceptable. We wanted to use a local business and we certainly won’t be using them again .

Had a meal at this restaurant yesterday with my daughter. The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean and set out well for social distancing. The staff serving us were polite and efficient and service was fast. Jugs of water were brought to the table together with drinks we had ordered. The food was plentiful and delicious. I can highly recommend this restaurant the cold meze and moussaka mmm! The best moussaka I’ve tasted in a while.

Today we went to the Golden Skewer Turkish in Cranham , the food was amazing , service was exceptional , very polite and so helpful and welcoming as always. We order regularly from this restaurant as like to use local businesses Especially at this time. They often take a lot longer to deliver than stated but we still order as food ok. Today we placed an order for delivery. After they had accepted the order they called to say they couldn’t deliver after all, could we pick up. They said they would give us something on the house. Turned out, not something that we wanted but a pot of hummus that went straight in the bin. They also made us wait past the time they said. We will not be using them again. Terrible restaurant. Terrible service. They just do not care.

Ordered at 12.30 midweek and was told 45 mins before I can pick up (delivery even longer). Arrived to pick up and my order hadn’t even been started! They said another 10 mins and then I waited another 25 mins in an empty restaurant whilst they prepared another customers huge order and served them first when they arrived! No apology given after waiting so long either. The large sharing platter we ordered was very expensive for what it was and mainly just ‘boned’ meets like wings and ribs. Shish was non-existent and wasn’t enough for a single piece for each person. Really not impressed with the food or the appalling service.

1st time for a delivery At cans tonight ,absolutely delicious 😋 great phone service Delivery on time ,fresh,hot,plenty of it & well priced , Well packed too. I have visited this restaurant serval times now with my family and the food is great. Good value for money. The staff do provide a decent service however they could be a bit friendly and smiler at times. The restaurant is in a fairly quite location so isn’t very busy, there isn’t much of an atmosphere but that the only negative!

Absolutely superb..... chicken shish was succulent and very generous and salad tasty, plentiful and well seasoned. The lamb beyti was equally tasty and generous. Will definitely be back! Staff welcoming and attentive.
