What an amazing find. Fantastic service, speedy and delicious dumplings, very nice cocktails.

Golden Pineapple has awesome food and drinks! The cocktail menu is creative, with loads of classics and inventive creations. The dumplings are to die for. Every dish is so exciting and flavourful! The staff are so lovely, and the cocktails are delicious. Inside, the warm lighting and eclectic décor, makes it so welcoming and cosy. The Golden Pineapple strikes the perfect balance between unpretentious charm and cocktail excellence. Can’t wait to go back! Thanks Liam and Jack :)

The loveliest place. The mixologist brought us samples, kept the water topped up. Helped us through the bargain R&D menu.

Incredible menu, full of passion and knowledge. It read like a fanzine for tequila, mezcal and other agave spirits. Incredible cocktails, shots and sipping spirits. Great food from Papa Dumpling. Brilliant atmosphere and friendly service. Water on the table without asking 🙌 Went on a Wednesday, when they have 'research and development' days - discounted drinks while they work out new recipes. Not disappointed!

A little guided Mezcal journey! We stumbled upon the bar in chance, but happily stumbled again the next day! My wife had some very nice cocktails, and I took some tips for a few (not so few, really) shots of Mezcal/Soto tasting. There's a lot of variety (ask for suggestions!) and the owner has a lot of details and anecdotes ready. This visit was a delight.

Very relaxing and cosy cocktail bar with moody date lighting and a stylish atmosphere. The cocktails were great! Service was good. We turned up at around 8pm on Friday evening without a booking and were able to get a table but I would recommend booking as all the tables seemed full when we left.

Cocktails are very good indeed. Atmosphere is dark but I like that for a cocktail place. Good service to coincide with the cocktails. Good for some very tasty drinks!

First time going here and was super quirky and lots of drink choices

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, who always make time for any questions and requests you may have. It also feels like they genuinely care about feedback on the experience you've had, and take pride in improving what they offer. The R&D menu is a great touch too and further cements the feeling that everyone behind the bar wants to ensure you have as great of an experience as possible. Their knowledge and passion for the drinks they serve is both enlightening and inspiring. The atmosphere inside feels considered, well curated and tasteful, with great tunes at a perfect volume. Factoring in the wide range of delicious drinks and off menu knowledge, it becomes very easy to lose track of time and stay for at least one more drink than planned. Highly recommend!

Atmospheric bar for great cocktails

I really love it in here. Have been back after a visit on a successful first date. I live the moody sultry lighting, fruity cocktails, welcoming staff, and all-over relaxed and sultry vibe. The cocktails I had with guava and mango were both well made and delicious. Such a great spot.

If you go to Brighton and you want to drink like a local go here. Go here immediately. There are not really words to describe how wonderful this place is and the team at the helm guiding it down ship street. The drinks menu is made by a master craftsman and delivered at just the right pace of taking care to make it taste special and getting it in the hand of the customer. Three hardworking souls who were all extremely welcoming make this place what it is. Just watch out for grumpy door people... If the Bourj can claim 6 stars these guys can claim 7.

I loved the place, the cocktails are fantastic and the food is delicious. We ordered some drinks from the Mezcal menu and I can say that they really know their spirits! it was refreshing to taste great non-commercial mezcal in Brighton. Super recommended with excellent service. I'll be back for sure.

Awesome place. Cool dive bar vibe. Tequila and mescal a specialty. Sam the barman made me a couple of cocktails that were top tier. Laid back and lovely atmosphere complemented by a good choice in chilled music.

Great service, Fabulous bar, even better cocktails! We had a lovely Ukrainian waitress who helped us choose some lovely cocktails. All the staff were smiley and welcoming - even the security guard. We will defo be back!

This place is a gem in Brighton and what an experience if you like a good cocktail! Fun varied cocktail menu for all likes, the staff are 10 out of 10, the most friendly, attentive and helpful specially if you are unsure about what you should pick they will surely give you some suggestions. Background music perfect to make the space welcoming and cozy, great to have a good chat while relaxing trying one of their mezcals.

We didn’t have a booking on a Saturday night, they really filter out the local riff raff which we thought was great! Some guy with a taupe was kicking off last night but the bouncer held his own and kept them out.

Amazing cocktail bar, the drinks are incredible, I would recommend the naked and famous for sure! The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable about their trade, so made it so easy for us to go off menu aswell. With a such massive variety of drinks and spirits available they catered for our complicated group! This is easily the best cocktail bar in Brighton, definitely avoid some of those big chains that keep popping up and come and give these guys a visit, it will be worth it!

Love this place! Been lucky enough to get a walk-in table both times I’ve visited. Very cool interior, enjoyed the relaxed vibe. Most importantly the cocktails are superb and interesting, and the staff are all lovely. Definitely check it out.

Service was super friendly and down to earth. Got some good recommendations for other great bars around which was splendid because it just meant they are invested in your evening. Superb cocktails, very well balanced and they also go off menu. Will absolutely visit again.

I absolutely loved this bar! The cocktails are phenomenal and definitely worth the price tag. Their nibbles are also great. Wide selection of things to pick from to accompany your drink. We went for the padron peppers and Iberico ham selection. The only criticism I would make is that, if you order Iberico ham, you should get bread with it. Charging an extra £2 to get bread for your ham is just cheap. Sort it out guys… P.S, lovely and friendly staff.

Amazing bar staff. Incredible cocktails. Beautiful decor. Was served by a wonderful server called Sam who suggested some amazing cocktails. The vibe is free fun and easy. If you're looking for a sophisticated but relaxed cocktail environment this is the place.

Fire that bouncer on your door working for you on Friday the 25th of Feb 2022. Unbelievable and unacceptable! As a single woman, I was rejected entry saying that this was a sit down restaurant and there was no space. I thanked and walked away but saw a lot of spaces empty through windows while walking away. I walked back to check why I was rejected entry. The response was me acting strange. I asked for talking to the manager and been told I could not and I was pushed physically by a 3 size bigger man than me. I was never scared this much in my life. I will walk back in the morning to talk to the manager. I cannot accept the behaviour. Looks like I am ok to have a glass of cocktail at the Ivy around the corner!

What a spirit selection. This place has really intimate decor. Low lights and dark wood furnitings give a feel of a time long past and a warmth suited to fine wines and spirits. A terrific place to cozy up with friends and chat.

Waited to be let in, behind that silly little rope, then was sat down for over twenty minutes, without our order being taken. Why offer, provide and insist on table service, if you can't provide it?

Went with friends, found the staff pushy, I wasnt drinking alcohol but 2 different staff tried to push 10quid non-alcoholic drinks on me (which were basically the gin swapped out for non-alcoholic version, nothing specific for non drinkers). My friends were very happy with their alcoholic cocktails hence the 3 stars. But I would recommend somewhere like Gung Ho which caters much better for those avoiding alcohol. Btw, if you are drinking be careful of the dodgy steps down to the toilets

So good. A proper grown up cocktail bar where they certainly knew their trade. The Mezcal menu was a thing of both beauty and regret. But it was all totally worth it.

better than the Walrus, which is a superspreader site for Omicron thanks to the manager. Came here instead, much safer.

A lovely place for a cocktail (or two, or maybe more...) in an excellent location in a great part of town. Add in the great and high quality selection, friendly staff, and the sort of ambience that makes it difficult to leave, and you've got a real destination. Brighton's full of great bars and restaurants (another reason to love it), and this is definitely one of them. Going back soon.
