This takeaway has been closed for good & up for sale, which is a shame they have retired, we used them for 30 years, always been a family business

The best Chinese take away we’ve ever experienced. Been using Golden Paiace for over 20 years. Understand that is closing permanently after the 28th May. So sad but wish the family well, as Mums retiring after 35 years.

We were pleased with all our dishes and crispy duck/ pancakes. Had enough for leftovers next day for 3 out of 4 of us.

Been using this take away for several years. The service is cheerful and very efficient. The food portions are generous,and always of a high quality. The adjacent Co-op car park makes collection easy,as well. There might be better take aways around but until the Golden Palace disappoints,we'll never know.

Take away food order, good friendly service. Although the food was very average and bland. We ordered a number of dishes (chicken, Prawns) and rice, noodles, seaweed, sauces etc So not just one poor dish unfortunately Dark and bland sauces, batter on chicken had a weird taste. Presentation wasn't great, all the dishes looked dark and greasy. Not overly impressed. Possibly a bad night for the restaurant but doubt we will be going back anytime soon.

The duck chow mien is to die for !!! A must if you are in Beckenham, cheep, cheerful and tastes great.

first timers here, with a takeaway. disappointed with the flavours, more about quantity than taste. the thai lemon chicken lacked authenticity but the following day was much nicer, as was the chow mein, when soya added to it

We have used this takeaway for many years. The owner and family are so friendly and the food is the best. Never a basd meal. Always piping hot and thoroughly enjoyable and plenty.

Had a nice takeaway here . Spring rolls were lovely . Friendly quick service and we enjoyed chatting to the owner's adorable wee sons greeting the customers and playing so nicely in the cafe .

Whilst planning a family meal, we decided to have a meal from this takeaway. Knowing that some local takeaways are closed Mondays, we rang tiger day before to check they would be open. They confirmed they would be. Also their website says open Mondays from 5pm. Day of family meal, we ring to order. No answer, so pop down to premises. It’s closed. Sign up saying closed Mondays. Disappointing considering both web site & chap on phone said otherwise

We’re new to the area and used Trip Advisor to find a good takeaway, we nearly didn’t visit here as a previous comment suggested the food rating was 3 star, a quick check of the food hygiene register shows that this is actually rated as 5 star food hygiene. Our order was ready very quickly and was the best we have tried in the area and so this will now be our regular place to order a takeaway from. Highly recommended

Great food, good size portions, great value for money Local Friendly staff always polite and chatty Loads of choice of dishes and good set menus available.

We decided to try a different Chinese takeaway than our usual local and chose The Golden Palace based on prior reviews.

My favourite Chinese takeaway! Nothing has ever come close. Only down side is, they don't deliver! Everything is so tasty!!! The Salt and pepper king prawns are the best recipe in town! Yummy!

We've used this place a few times and will continue to do so as we like it, it's very local and they provide good value. We can't quite go to the lengths to award a five rating but this is a good solid 4. The prawn dishes are our favourite and they don't skimp on the number of prawns you get. Recommended

The best takeaway in town for Chinese food.. we been going here for many years and wouldn't change a thing.. the food is the best.. once you eaten there you will never go anywhere else in town.. fantastic service and food at great prices.. love them

Family and I have been going to this takeaway for years. Service with a smile and friendly. Never had bad food from here. Unfortunately we've all moved away and tried many other Chinese takeaways and miss this place.

I have been going to this take away for years, I have never been disappointed with the food. I hope it keeps going for many more years! I just wish they done a delivery service!
