I was thoroughly frisked by two doormen at this establishment, I assume for my own safety as they want to remove any hidden weapons or drugs. The inside was fairly normal with middle aged people getting drunk. Not much to get excited about or to complain about, your average pub.

Danielle did an amazing job at serving me and my partner. She was very polite and restful

Lovely pub. They had a/c which was great on a hot day.

Had a couple of half pounds the beer was fantastic in the service was absolutely awesome

We were last night with friends in the Golden Lion, a group of all ladies celebrating the bday of one of us. We had a really nice time there, really nice pizzas, nice cocktail pitches. well as very friendly and helpful staff. We even stayed a bit later than their closing time and they were not annoyed, just very polite all... Will definitely return there soon :)

Visited for the first time this Saturday and had such a great night that I returned on the Sunday for their bank holiday garden party! Service was quick and all the staff were lovely. The food was great and well priced, perfect to grab some dinner before you start the night. All in all a great pub, would recommend!

New menu as of today (21/05/24), tried the Spicy Chicken burger, and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Burger cooked to perfection, spicy sauces etc just enough 'kick' without spoiling the flavour of the chicken. Add to that a pint of Fosters for just an extra quid...! It's a shame I could only give it 5 stars. Give it a go...the pizzas are looking good as well. LesR

Honestly, one of the best nights in a long time, i dont go out very much, so this was a really nice atmosphere to be welcomed back too! The bouncers are kind and helpful! The music on a saturdays slaps and for 2 vodka redbulls on a saturday cost me £7 bargain! Im back on bank holiday 🎉💃

zee serves me all the time she is amazing always the best service from her and will always be there to chat such a bubbly friendly person and is amazing at what she does always got a smile on her face and joke to tell, love her🫶🏼

Amazing night out on the weekend and perfect sports pub! They have an awesome amount of telly around the pub that so a range of sports and a perfect little sports area on the left as you walk in! Will be back for football again! Will defo be booking for the euros

Great, vibrant atmosphere at the weekend, especially when there's sport on. Quieter in the week & during the days but still a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly service with a lot of fun thrown in. Special mentions for Zee, Stacey & Andrew for being consistently helpful & efficient. Shout out too for Adam for his management style, choice of beers & for enticing us in with great offers!

Security officer refused me entry citing inebriation , even though I have only been for a meal , refused entry after my license was scanned therefore , had no grounds to refuse entry , I’m also a licensed security officer and she didn’t even search me, clearly based the refusal off my ethnicity

Bar staff are quick to take your drinks if left unattended for a second call security if you're happy with this. Seems like they are working a scam to to make money. It's a stoo gap, dont stay cause they are happy to cheat you out of your money and throw you out when you are unhappy with their treatment of. They get enough footfall so they don't care.

Great music in here, really calm during the week but was really good overall. 2-4-1 cocktails everyday. Was served by zee and she was really lovely. Always got a smile on .

Came in recently for a drink, nice friendly atmosphere. Kayleigh served us our drinks, was very kind and talkative. Having a great server always really adds to the experience for me, so would definitely return. And thank you Kayleigh for being so friendly and accommodating!

Amazing place to go for drinks and good atmosphere

This is the best place to watch the football, as it doesn’t matter where in the pub you go your never miss any off the action, I go here with friends and we enjoy watching every game here

Don’t come here in the evening unless you hold British identification because if you do hold any other identification management has put in place a system that will not allow you in. Common sense isn’t very common anymore. Shame on you.

Not been in here for a long time! The staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious. The manager, Adam came and checked everything was ok with the food and was served drinks to the table by Jordon. You and your team are great thanks for a great experience 😉

I came in on Monday night and I was absolutely besotted with two girls with the name is Asma and Azeezat.They comforted me as I came in and they made me feel as though the pub was my home I will definitely be bringing my friends and family to celebrate my birthday there !

Was enjoying myself here until me and my friend's were aggressively approached by a male trying to force drugs (tablet form) apon us. I get that on nights out now and again you will be approached by shady individuals but this male would not leave us alone or take no for an answer, to the point I had to scream and shout at him. The man was very comfortable with what he was trying to do and i left feeling very vulnerable and exited the venue after the bouncer staff stood by despite being aware of what was happening. Very strange experience, not a venue I longer feel safe in but the bar staff and drinks were top tier.

Francesca is one of the most friendest bar staff I've encountered.. The greatest value in the area. Will be happy to return everyday .

Attempted to come in on Friday night, myself and 2 friends who’d been out in Bexleyheath. All in our mid to late 40s but we’re refused entry as one of us had no ID? Told by the door staff to go to the weatherspoons instead. Very disappointing
