Bar staff are the tops and the gang of people are the tops. I'm sad that more people don't experience the atmosphere of the Horse

As a stranger who attended only to watch football, I was astounded at the level of friendly Ed’s and service I received. What a great establishment. April and Kiren were wonderful hosts Thoroughly recommend a visit😊

Great wet pub. Decent selection of drinks and friendly staff and punters. I pop in to watch Liverpool play when I can!

I had recently booked the pub for my partners birthday.. the landlady April was very accommodating and was very helpful, April even offered to set up tables and decorated the place for me she and her staff did an amazing job The staff were all very lovely and helpful and the service was very good. There where children who came to the party, and again April and staff where lovley with them, and very understanding when the children where acting up a little. Everyone who came to the pub commented on how lovley the pub was and the staff. I want to say thank you for having us, and we will see you all again soon.

What a lovely authentic pub to stumble in on.. the Guinness tasted fresh and the customer service was amazing. Big thanks to KC for his humble hospitality and my dog was pleased with her bowl of water. Lovely pub and worth a visit 😀

It was fine a locals pub. Nice and clean toilets clean.

The new vinyl seat refit can't disguise the fact that this place never actually changes. Staff aren't particularly inviting, glasses are dirty, and punters are a mixed bag of locals only. Worth a visit for the experience.

Good open mic run by Hannah Faulkner, some great talent.

Nice pub as was quiet no idiots in there so good for a pint to relax also holded the six nations there which is good!

Was our local for 30+ years.....Good to be back. Excellent welcoming, lovely staff and impressed with the changes made. We'll done...keep going. Thoroughly recommend. Cat & Stan

It's a lovely place but it's a back street pub and the prices don't match the people who live in the vacinity it's not the Foundrymans or the Thomas Abecket who have parsing trade especially in the Football and Rugby season the Golden Horse can't compete with that. It's bums on seats what makes money not expensive drinks and a empty pub

Not that busy, good prices, it had a bit if a smell lingering around which was a bit off putting

Alana is the best landlady in town. Friendly.. welcoming and makes you want to come back.

Despite the name of the pub they have a mural of At George and Dragon on the outside wall, There are Cross of St George flags up on the inside walls, across the road the house they own has painted the full length of the gable wall the Cross of St George. Like being in Belfast they don't foreigners in there, bizzarly pub belongs to Mac Manual Taverns, a company set up by Irish migrants, Irish people would feel very uncomfortable in here avoid.

Great boozer with proper pub atmosphere,always good entertainment weekends and open mic night last Wednesday of every month,always have a lot of laughs. ....
