(1st ever visit) My friend had Jollof rice with Goat meat, a small portion of Gizzard and Meat pie. I had Pounded Yam & Efo Riro with Assoted Meat (I also had Jollof rice to takeaway). This was my first time trying it & honestly I was impressed. The portions are big & I couldn’t finish but it was worth it. The customer service was good too. However, the door doesn’t close properly so I do recommend wearing something warm. Also, the menu’s and their own computer system have different prices so definitely check up on that one as my friend was overcharged a few pounds (was fixed in the end though). Will definitely be coming back :) Update: (2nd picture) I went back a few times after this visit. Since then, they’ve had a change in cooks which shows 100% in the meal portions , taste + customer service. I ordered jollof rice + goat meat and was given two piece of meat… which is a huge difference to what was given to us during the first visit. I’ve always ordered extra stew on the side, because I’ve noticed the meal didn’t come with alot of stew anyway. I was charged £4 the last time I went, which I was confused as prior to this I’ve never been charged. The chef was very ignorant and rude about this and basically dismissed me out the shop for speaking up and saying something. I haven’t been back there since but I’ve seen that this post had been viewed by thousands of people and I thought you all deserved an update.

Exotic Cuisine is an African restaurant serving delightful Nigerian cuisines in a Nigerian setting. The shop comes alive in the evenings into an urban lounge where you can listen to cool music while you unwind. I visited on a Friday and I had small Guinness stout and Suya. A true Nigerian taste in the heart of Northampton. You bet I'll be visiting again soon.

Excellent food and service and really affordable too. Great African music and the decor is really cool too. Makes you want to keep coming back. I’d recommend 10/10. I really felt at home eating there, great place!

Nice place. Good African music. you feel at home. U could pass and not know something is going on there. I was served stale food one evening and as well as a padded bill, that was later corrected. The chicken was old and really offset my system. . . U feel at home but the food wasn't so great so I stopped turning up. But the place is OK. They do Clubbing and all at weekends. And there's a snooker board there.

Good customer service; timely food preparation - I was told it would take 20 mins to prepare my order and it was ready in about that time; the food was sweet and the of high standard. Kudos 👍

The place needs bufee, testy Nigerian food. But at present the food is no more tasty and quality, bit expensive. The food should be cook tasty and daily

I loved it soooooooooo much! I had amala, gbegiri, Ewedu and palm wine while my friend had eba and egusi soup and it was soooooooooooo good. The portions were very generous. Spot the second half of my amala that i.just couldn't finish. The goat meat was soft and succulent and I generally just had a blast with this one. The waiting time however was a bit too long so thst is something they can definitely work on. I would definitely be recommending this place and coming back again.

I was very disappointed, I travelled from Luton which took me almost an hour . When I got there I had to wait over 40 minute for my food and to be honest it was not worth the wait . It was not worth the money , my energy and it was not even that good . I ordered fried rice and it was socking in oil . It was very disgusting the oil can be used to fry fish and there will be enough left .

Bad customer service, i dont reconmend their, service,imagine, i'll say dont go there go somewhere else. This is flextv boss. I dont rate them

Have to pay for your parking if not you will be charged by the ticket master. Toilets not great in this place . Food was ok but not a great service .

The egusi soup is so delicious among other delicacies offered there.

Food was tasty and portions a fantastic size. the chef was friendly polite and happy to help, couldnt do enough, his daughter was there also a pleasure to have in thr establishment, the bar mans english was poor unfortunately although he did try his best. The place itself could do with a deep clean. its sticky and tacky outdate decor, and the toilets the less said about them the better...... would go again because of the chef, although the surroundings need throughly cleaning.

Takes more than a couple of minutes to get your food, but definitely worth the wait. I'd highly recommend the suya as it has such an authentic 'street food' taste to it. A++ all the way!

Really bad service, there extended the delivery time by 30mns then after 45mins called me and said they were going to be another 15mins. there was no apology

My food was an really late. Ordered at 1925 and was delivered at 22:00. Not really good service tbh because they didn't even bother calling me as a matter or courtesy and letting me know.
