Whole meal missing and what did arrive was cold. Desert was tiny and all squashed up the side of the box. Will not be ordering from here again

Pasta was so lovely and hot. The giant mozzarella stick and chips were really cold..We order all the time for delivery and this is the first time it's happened. Everything else was great. The Pasta bolognase it's delicious

The food was ok, the beagles was undercooked but everything else was good. The service was good as well.

Food tastes like depression burger meat is bland my jacket spud was 70% brick the pulled beef was not pulled beef it was 10%beef 90% onion and a mix of filling just wrong. Not worth the price 😞 On the plus waitress was amazing top marks.

Went here with the family just prior to Christmas to try their festive menu. We were big Frankie and Benny fans before they shut the two nearest restaurants to us but thought we'd make an effort to travel a bit further to see if they were still worth it! In simple terms, I'm afraid not! The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived and was very cold which meant we kept our coats on for much of the meal which is never conducive to having a good experience. Service was OK and prompt as you would expect for so few customers but our biggest gripe was the food and the cost...either the portions were too small(the carbonara just about covered the centre of the bowl it came in which was small to start with) or the taste wasn't great(the sage crumb on the macaroni cheese just didn't taste right) and then paying over £100 for 1 starter, 4 mains, one side and one dessert plus 4 non-alcoholic drinks just seemed excessive when factoring in the portion size and quality compared to other outings we've had recently to other national restaurants yet alone independent restaurants locally. Sadly disappointing and not a journey that we will endeavour to make again!

Nice food, speedy service and friendly staff at Christmas

On time however half order missing restaurant adamant it was sent but did not arrive with the driver and no option of getting in contact with the driver

It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere after we'd had a busy day. We had a very lovely waitress who ensured we had everything we needed. There is a half decent menu selection of Italian and American food. We both had pizzas and they were lovely! I love Frankie and Benny's.

While the food met expectations, the service left much to be desired due to its considerable slowness. I waited longer than anticipated for a staff member to address my drink order and take my meal request. Additionally, when provided with the menu, the Christmas festive menu was absent. I had to specifically ask for it, which could have been avoided if it had been presented alongside the main menu initially.

Not a very attentive service. High carb menu with not much protein. Their menu is good however items on there are not and have not been available for many months and the customer experience itself was bland. Food and drinks tasted well. Staff lacked communication as well as decorum of food runners loitering close during transaction time where they did not respect privacy of us the paying patrons.

Sent the complete wrong order. Food was poor and I couldn’t eat any of it

We had a really lovely lunch on Saturday 23rd November. Service was great and the food was lovely. Highly recommend the meatball starter with Nduja and the chicken and Nduja calzone. Americano is on point. So strong. We'll be back soon.

The front of house (seemed to be manager) was unenthusiastic and came across a bit rude, unfortunately. The other waitresses were friendly. Limited vegetarian options.

We were greeted really warmly, my father’s lack of mobility was taken into consideration. The food was delicious! Really tasty!! The service from the two ladies on was fantastic. Very jovial, friendly but very professional and efficient.

Had a table for 1 during lunch time, spent £39 after getting a £7 promotional discount so original bill was £46 My main dish was served to me with no sign of my starter so asked one of the waitress i am waiting on my starter, it came around near 10 mins after my main was served to me, yes its not a big deal but main now wasnt as hot as it first was heat wise as started having the starter when it eventually came, food was good and both waitresses did ask how is food etc. The main reason for my review is that i find it rude when it comes to payment time and the card machine gives me a few options on “how much gravity” i want to pay but no sign to cancel paying any gravity, found it rather embarrassing to ask the waitress i dont want to pay a tip, but i just clicked on “add 5 percent gravity” paid my bill and tip and walked out. So yes i find it very rude of getting asked how much tip i want to pay when it should ask first if i even want to pay a tip. I still paid a little tip but on my overall experience with my starter issue i wasnt intending on leaving any gravity Hope manager will read this and sort this tip issue out with your card machines, if im going to have a table for 1 and £40 lunch i expect things to be in more of a professional manner.

my order has not came after I spoke to the delivery driver telling him where to go but he hasn't showed up and it says deliverd so I do not recommend shopping here as he probably gave it to a random person and still took my money

Visited today with friends as a large group. The food is spot on, however the service really lets this place down. The welcoming wasn’t brilliant and soon as we sat down within a minute another staff member came over to take drinks order. having not had time to look at any menu.’s, however it wasn’t until we looked at the kids menu they come with a drink so paid £15 for kids drinks we didn’t need to pay for. Staff should have made us aware. When we finally got to order food, I asked why weren’t we informed the kids get drinks with their menu. The response was if they finish their drink, I’ll bring their included drink over! After we had all eaten no one came over to clear the plates for a good 10 minutes. No check in during meal or an offer of more drinks. We eventually gave up and walked over as a whole table to the till to get the bill and pay to leave. With a service staff on the bill (£13) we asked for this to be removed. Paying by card even ask a tip! On leaving we heard the staff moaning to each other “they removed the service charge and left no tip”! If the staff were actually friendly, happy and provided a good service I’d have happily left a tip! Sadly won’t be returning to this branch. This is the reason so many hospitality businesses are failing.

Everything is great, except it can sometimes be birthday central.

We booked it last minute because the other place we supposed to go had no electricity due to the storm the day before. I was struggling to find a place that could accommodate 11 people last minute on Sunday. We were extremely happy when they accepted our booking. We had a great time, food was nice. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. Unlike other places we could bring our own cake. We would definitely come back. Thank you

Frankie and Benny's is one of those all-round great places to eat - great with couples, great with all the family and especially great with kids. Called an 'Italian-New York' restaurant, I can honestly say as an American, I've not seen anything quite like it in the States, but it's very good. My particular favourite meal is during breakfast, where I come for its sophisticated egg dishes (like Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale), but can be equally swayed by its pancakes and waffles offerings (such as waffles with fried chicken and/or streaky bacon - sounds weird at first, but very good!) Frankie and Benny's also has delicious Italian dishes, as well as American favourites as burgers and hot dogs, but are also innovative enough to serve tasty wrap sandwiches and great salads. This time we went with Italian class, meatballs with fettuccine and lasagna. All delicious. As to the food offerings, there is nothing but good one can say. On very busy times, like weekends, the wait can be extended, but if you go early or late near end of breakfast, lunch, or dinner services, the wait is better than expected. It's all in how you approach your dining time. Highly recommended.

Steak was over cooked and my burger was wrong , waiter didn’t listen properly and its was over priced £85 for 4 course meals and funny enough waiters Askin tip is well , never again

The food was ok , i had salmon it was a bit to tomatoe in the sauce for me it over powered everything else .

Everything was good minus the waffle almost £8 for a stale waffle and a solid almost frozen in texture banana other than that no complaints

Went to frankie and bennys riverside yesterday (Sunday 11th August) , it was very busy staff seemed really busy the restaurant was packed. kind lady at the bar took my drink, cleared a table by the bar and sat me down, asked if I had allergies and gave me a menu. I was a little short on time and had the rest of my meal to go. I could only see two, maybe 3 members of staff running around but they did their best to make me feel valued and welcomed however.

Good food and was only a few girls doing the front of house so it was slow not there fault but to try and keep up, and serve everyone, and was hot and the a/c weren't working properly, I thought I was getting a meatball pizza but looked like a cornish pasty lol but was nice

Spent nearly £140 quid including a tip but won't be going back. Over the years we've always went to Kettering and Peterborough and now they have closed tried Northampton, the steak was dry and the kids sweetcorn was like chewing on an old boot utter waste of money. The mains are terrible but the starters a very good so bear that in mind.

Friendly service in a clean environment. Happy tummies all round , the food was lovely and perfect size portions . My mum is quite fussy so to hear it is the best lasagna she’s ever had was amazing to hear . Can’t wait to come back . Thank you for all staff for being happy and friendly .

Poor attitude from the manager! A real shame as the lady who served us was absolutely lovely! From the get go, we had a booking which the manager couldn’t accommodate table wise, so we ended up split across two tables. Then were refused to be able to use offers as we were one booking, even though we were split across tables. The managers attitude was patronising and short. Every single question we asked was met with some kind of barrier.

Came here for a Birthday treat,So got a free meal. I had the Philly burger off the Summer menu. It was so delicious, lots of different flavours going on, it came with a side of skin on fries. Had a really nice time. Service was great, lovely lady, very friendly and was always smiling. Can't remember the name of the other meal that was ordered.

We had a wonderful celebratory meal out. Our server Aaliyah couldn’t have been more helpful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere wonderful!

Aaliyah was fantastic from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Remembered everything we ordered without taking a note, checked in with us regularly to see if we needed any help, and as it was my son’s birthday she helped sort the cake and music. Really fantastic service and she is a credit to F&B.

Service was unenthusiastic and uninviting from the get go and the food was extremely lacking in quality, in terms of both flavour and presentation. You do not get what you pay for at all, I would strongly advise driving to either a different chain with decent chefs or somewhere completely different. You WILL be disappointed here.

Had chicken and ribs and the ribs were cold and not cooked properly! Staff asked if meal was ok and I said ribs were cold and not cooked. She only said she would tell manager. No offer of replacement. Upon getting the bill I asked to take price of ribs off. They tried every trick in the book saying you did not complain which I did and I ate the ribs which I did not. Eventually spoke to manager who went through same rigmarole again and eventually gave me £10 discount. Ruined the meal and father's day won't be going there again ever !

The Waiters And Waitresses are very nice, greet you at the start and Only takes a couple minutes for u to order. everything was very good, fills you up pretty well and it only takes 10 minutes to get your food. my family and I really enjoyed eating here and would come again.

Portion size for £13.20 Mac and Cheese +bacon was a joke - total rip off. (Pics available). Would have complained directly, but no contact details on page. Carbonara was sufficient in size, but bland. Sorry I ordered, 2/10 would not recommend.

Really lovely service really good and fast. The staff was welcoming and very polite unfortunately the food was very plain no seasoning I’ve had the carbonara pasta as my main.

It's a nice place. The breakfast was nice and it came out in a nice time and the staff were nice. That's just what you need on a Sunday morning.

I ordered the Creamy carbonara, it was hot and tasted lovely apart from it wasn’t very creamy, it was quite dry but other than that it was good. Also had mozzarella sticks and I got another free so that was good.

I was in this restaurant with my daughter the other day. And a lady walked in and took a seat (for prospective it was empty) and was told she couldn't be served as she hadn't booked a table the customer proceeds to then go on the app and book a table, she was still refused service even after booking a table. It turns out Frankie & Bennys didn't want to serve her because she was a gypsy. Frankie and Bennys you should be ashamed and disgusted in yourself and your staff for pure discrimination
