Best pub in Twerton. If you want good company and decent prices, this is the place to come. Their live music on Saturdays is excellent.

Great little pub with friendly staff

I've been coming here for about 12 years now...one of the loveliest pubs to come to!! Extremely friendly and welcoming any time of the day.the staff are amazing especially Julie Dennis and Russell who accommodate me with my coffee 🙂 love coming here to have a laugh and let me hair down...thanks guys.

been in a couple of times after dropping daughter off in nearby student accommodation. always friendly staff and locals,a proper local pub. not the largest range of cask beers ,doom bar,a Butcombe one plus one other from memory. excellent country-rock band there last Saturday night,name escapes me. always worth a visit. not expensive £3.90 a pint and £3.20 for a pint of coke from memory

Best boozer in bath classic old school pub

City centre locals bar. Much used and popular with a good patronage by those living close by and students. On the Cask Marque Ale Trail and the beer, although limited in choice, is in noble condition. Pool table.

Bit rough around the edges and don't expect a warm welcome, but an ok stop off for a quick pint and a packet of crisps.

The younger lady was rude and seemed to have a attitude with me for not apparent reason. We been just for drink and play pool but not any more.

Lovely quaint drinking establishment, family and dog friendly, nice atmosphere, able to watch live sports, my only negative was there was food advertised outside but no menu or signage inside to indicate how to order food

Been to this pub now about 4 times to play pool which is good. However the lady behind the bar with red bob hair cut is quite something. Very abrupt and rude. Every time I went to the bar I thought "wow" what a horrible person. And for no reason at all, Very hard faced ! You will see for yourself. There is an older lady who works there who was quite nice.

Well.... The red head is lovely 😂 walked into the pub this eve with my family, only to be greeted by the red headed geezabird saying to me that we're drunk and would not serve us, after informing her that we we do not drink and were only in for a soft drink she abruptly told she didn't care and it was her pub and she'd do what she wants. I then rang the pub to find out exactly what had just happened baring in mind my son is autistic and she had upset him no end. Her answer on the phone was that we were on drugs and the locals said we looked dodgy. DON'T BOTHER GOING HERE! Truley awful experience. Rude obnoxious woman. I would like to state I sober and definitely not on drugs.

Hilariously awful pub. A group of us took refuge here during a heavy rain shower while on a walk. Cue 'Stranger!' looks from the locals when we walked in. When I ordered a coffee the stroppy red haired barmaid told me if I wanted a coffee go to a Costa not a pub. Then she got grumpy when the Guinness was ordered last. We sat on dirty, cracked leather chairs trying to have a chat next to a speaker blaring old Frank Sinatra songs. What was good about the pub? Well it had a roof which kept us dry until the shower passed. Will we go back? I don't think so.

Another fantastic local pub on the west of Bath, very friendly, great to visit after shopping at next door Lidl!

I stayed here while I was working on the Lidl next store , must have been five years ago now , but the family that owned this place ( hope they still do )/ we're simply the best type of people youl ever meet ! I have so much great memories working in bath but that bar held most of the best ones ! There wasn't one night I wasn't on that pool table or dart board , if your going to stay in bath FORGET A HOTEL !! STAY HERE =) Great food , great atmosphere and just real amazing people!

We've not been here for a while and it's a jolly pub and most impressed with the management /Staff. We were here on Thursday ( 2 days ago ) and an older Gentleman had a fall in the pub and he Was so well looked after by the Staff and they accompanied him to hospital It' so nice to see that people go an extra mile .

Good pub and great bar staff, one of the better pubs I have visited.

Quite rude service, upon entering 3 of our group immediately bought drinks, despite myself fully intending to buy a drink with the next 5 min the landlady came and told us to leave immediately unless I bought a drink that second. During our second game of pool one of the balls came off the table upon which we were kicked out - which I felt was a bit ridiculous as none of us had more than two pints and all were clearly sober. In summary nice pub and location but very disappointed with the rude service.

Forced to buy drinks for everyone when 3/5 had bought drinks otherwise would be 'kicked out '

Owner was incredibly rude, within 2 minutes of entering we were threatened to be kicked out unless everyone bought an alcoholic beverage. Former alcoholic mate was forced to buy a pint. We were also told we could not continue playing pool because a ball accidentally fell on the floor. Would not recommend nor come back

Wasn't allowed in unless everyone in our group of 5 bought a pint. 4 of us wanted too. Our mate sober of 4 years was forced to drink.

Not busy. Good here/ cider. Sunday lunch booked and served quickly . hot plates massive portions and I'm sat waiting for my sticky toffee pudding with custard. Great value for money! Support your local pub. You don't get this readily at a supermarket!

Great atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks. My typical impression of a bikers club, used to be of fights, big burly men ..... I was so wrong. The locals were extremely welcoming. The lady behind the bar (i believe was the land lady), was very kind and warm. She happily answered questions, and always have smile. The ladies loos were clean, one was a lot larger than the other. We didn't eat or sleep there, but i would happily i back there an try food. So rare you find a welcoming friendly local pub

Nice atmosphere, two large TVs showing football matches. free darts and billiards 50p per game £1 for 3 games. Unfortunately, they don't have a kitchen, so the selection is only chips :-)

I work here and mum is the landlady, The pub has a very friendly atmosphere and welcomes everybody from young to old. We serve real ale ( 1 of which is a guest ale ), a selection of lager and cider on pump , Chedder Valley cider straight from the barrel !! We also have a selection of non alcoholic drinks like tea,coffee, Cappuccino, latte, mocha ect .... There is live music most weekends and numerous other things going on to keep you all entertained .
