Great food shame potions not bigger wish they deliver

A bit hit and miss. Been going here for 14 years plus and I prefer it to Chan's the other Chinese takeaway in Walderslade village.

Food always good, and ready when they say. It's a takeaway so unable to rate atmosphere.

Chicken was dry sweet and sour sauce was definitely sour

Don't deserve any stars! The food was disgusting, tastless, hard, full of gristle and in parts it was cold! The pork balls were gristle and fatty! No flavour what so ever! Will never forget there again! We've all been poorly (both ends) since eating their food, yesterday! Was meant to be a birthday treat! More like a nightmare! There were 4 of us, and we're all poorly!

A flying visit but easy parking and access with a quick order over the phone and pickup and a well enjoyed meal helps a lot. Service was good, and order was correct and served on time, and prices were reasonable as was portion sizes. This is one of the popular takeaways in the area, and I would definitely visit this one again as worked out greay value for the money. Would prefer card payments to be available however.

Order was missing items , chips in sauce were undercooked and raw in the middle icleands own chips in curry sauce looks better this sorry excuse called food , order was missing items , 0/10 food ,to add insult to injury £2.00 delivery charge For sub standard food + raw chips . BEWARE, was the best, now the worst in the area. Big price rise, smaller portions, badly cooked, value for money zero. The photo shows the small portion size container this weekend 4th June 23 and the bigger one from the previous weekend After 20 years of being a loyal customer i will not buy there any more.

My Favorite place to get a Chinese takeaway locally

This does the best food in town but it's recently become difficult and slow to place an order since front of house staff has changed. We bought kebabs instead today as the phone wasn't answered. The wait for food and ordering at the counter has put us off. Hopefully this will improve soon.

Such a shame. Used to be great but sadly in last year or so meals very hit and miss. Final straw with latest order. Food not cooked properly and swimming in oil/grease. Suspect losing business fast and aren’t keeping kitchen woks fryers hot ready to use. So cooked in luke warm oil which should have fried off. Won’t be going back!

Been using this Chinese for over 30 years. Always great quality, pretty sure it's the same family running it too. Great service and reasonably priced.

Great food and a very fast service.

Can't fault it. Large order to feed 4. Food all cooked fresh and delicious. Particularly loved the noodles. Decent size portions. Asked for a large rice (wasn't on menu) and no issue. Shredded chilli beef was nice. And chicken curry had a kick. My toddler loved it.

Always fantastic food and very quick service! The infamous “yes yes..” when you order by phone or in shop makes all the experience!

OK but the beef curry the meat was very hard and small portions for the price.

Always enjoy my food from here. Nicely cooked and piping hot all the way home. Cash only, but there are cash machines very close by.

Really greasy lately. Not impressed. Won't be going there again. Go to KoWah on Top Road Gillingham, or Master Wok.

Take a look round the back. Specially when cooling their rice. The pigeons love it. They pretend to not understand English.

AVOID - I used to work next door to the place, the people that work there and how they behave....You honestly don't want to know...I ordered from there a few times and on one occasion I got food poisoning. Couldn't go to work for 3 days... Never ordering from there again in my life!

I’ve been using this place for years and the food is always perfect. I think one dish was forgotten once but this is inevitable at such a busy takeaway. We’ve moved away from the area but still go all the way back on occasion because the service and food is that good.

My local Chinese takeaway in walderslade village. Have been using this Chinese for many years always had great Chinese food from here. Would recommend anyone to try what's on offer from the menu be it chicken,duck or king prawns in batter. Not overly expensive and plenty of food in portions. Opening times,lunchtime Thursday to Saturday 12 noon to 1.30 pm. Evening opening Sunday to Saturday 5pm to 10.30pm.

We have never found a Chinese as nice as this one. If we're ever in the area we always stop in. Come all the way from the Isle of Sheppey for their dishes

Disgusting service. Ordered food on NYE went to collect it, they missed a meal. I phoned up to complain they offered nothing. I had to drive back there and get the meal (whilst all the other food was going cold). No compensation no solutions no care really. Won’t be ordering again!

I simply cannot comprehend any review under 5 stars, visited for the last 10 years now and simply fantastic every time. It really is very very good. For me a simply indicator of just how good they are is there refusal to card payment and to offer delivery. You will get in the car and drive to cashpoint and then collect it because it is that good! Cash point at co-op and at the shop a few doors down. Quicker than any McDonald’s or KFC that I have been to recently. Fantastic Chinese.

Fantastic food staff nice and friendly

With out doubt the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. Crispy chilli beef was thrown straight in bin and crispy duck was rock hard and no meat on it at all. Avoid and use other Chinese in village.

Let's not muck about, golden dragon is the best takeaway for miles and miles.

First time trying this place out and will be my last too. 3 of their spicy dishes were mild, pieces of beef were dry and chewy, and the BBQ ribs were mainly bones, barely any meat on them! Disappointing.

Food cooked quickly and found out why later 6 trips to toilet avoid unless u like visiting wc a lot

Great Chinese Food, have been using for the last 24 years. The Golden Dragon need to be have the option to pay with debit cards, this is 2015 not 1915!!

the food was really well priced and when we got it home we realised why. curry tasted like soy sauce. chips were sweet and dry and as for the rice it was overcooked and dry as well.the duck however was surprisingly nice however but wont be going back there
