The Glover Arms in Perth & Kinross

Hubby had the roast, which he said was lovely. I am gluten-free. Had the chicken curry but sent it back. We waited about 30 for our food. My rice, although it was sticky rice, was well stuck and hard. Curry didn't have much taste. When I spoke to the waitress, she said we'll it's sticky rice. Staff were lovely and pleasant, but we got no apology.

Niall went out of his way to provide the celebration menu which was very nice of him. The service and staff throughout the afternoon were great!

Had a great time at the Glover Arms, the food was great the service was a bit slow but that's understandable as it was quite busy. We were served by Carly and she was very helpful with our dietary needs, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere

First time here, lovely atmosphere, really delicious food, huge portions. One star nearly deducted for food because we were looking forward to beef and pork but sadly all had sold out which was disappointing.... but we still had a great time. We were served by Carly who was absolutely lovely, good fun and gave great service. We'll be back for sure. 😀

Just wanted a light bite. Couple of starters each, couple drinks and shared a dessert. Delicious. Friendly staff, Chris is exceptional! And Felix the chef outdid himself!

Very nice people in here and a very friendly atmosphere there's warn log burners the staff are super friendly 🗿 we were there for lunch every one is vibing the food is delicious and I recommend the pizzas and the signature burger 🍔 fast service and overall really good 👍

Food poor bar staff fine enough, setting OK but two things thst really upset me the table hadn't been wiped down properly so was dirty and the sea bass fillets ive had better from a corner chip shop they were tasteless and very very small i was starving when I came out, bill was £32.00 for just myself with a starter and soft drink that's a honest and fair review YOU NEEED TO IMPROVE because it's a lovely pub and you can clearly do better.

Came here with my sister and each of our dogs. We were given a great table tucked away with plenty of space for the dogs to stretch out. Serving team were very pleasant and food arrived quickly and was very tasty. It was my first time here but it’s great to know it’s an option when driving through Perth!

First time in this nice restaurant I would definitely come back when we are on our travels in our Motorhome. I had the rib- steak it was cooked to perfection. The meal was really good I would give it 10 out 10 but only allowed 5*. Stuart our waiter was 1st class in all our needs The coffee is very full of flavour and not bitter like some coffees Felix the chef cooked everything to perfection thought I would include Felix as chefs don’t get much recognition for his work 5* Felix. 👍 P.S The waitress asked us when we were seated at our table if we had any allergies which I thought is very responsible think to ask customers in this environment we living in today.

It was great (…as so many places don’t even acknowledge you’ve entered the building) to be greeted with a “hello“ and a smile the minute we crossed the threshold. The atmosphere was very friendly and Chris was just fabulous and looked after us well.

Back for the 3rd time in two weeks as they have a fab little dog section, complete with fresh water and treats. I’ve tried the lasagne, duck pizza and fish finger sandwich. Favourite so far is the lasagne. Staff are always lovely and friendly. Will be back! ———————— And back again in Jan 2024… dog section still clean and well catered and food still lovely. This time two little doggies… Had the beef sandwich, side of Mac and cheese (yummy) and the sausage and mash followed by crumble. I had the coffee with mini crumble and it was a very decent size.

Really lovely food, there were varied choices of vegetarian options on he menu. It's nice to see something different from risotto and goats cheese that you usually see on pub menus. Stuart and Chris were really attentive and friendly. We didn't have too long to wait for food. The pub itself has old charm and is clean and well decorated

Disappointed with my meal tonight. Sirloin steaks which contained a lot of gristle. Not much the chef could have done about it as it was cooked as requested. Did mention it to the waitress but there was no offer of redress. Probably should have been more direct and refused to pay full price.

Have been many times whilst visiting family in Perth. Always a warm welcome, cosy, great staff and good food.

Served by Zoë and the chef was Chris Whyte - service was brilliant, we all felt so comfortable and relaxed, music was great and our food was delicious - no complaints here and will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this place, came across it when in need for some lunch and no idea where to go. Welcoming staff, polite and professional, as well as welcoming bar, warm and cozy with enough room to not be squashed. Food was also excellent even when it comes to the Signature Burger which was one of the best I've had in a long time. Again this was a great find and lovely place to just relax with friends or family for a drink or food as well.

In a cold day without a booking, with a baby and a dog, we were very well welcomed to the restaurant. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The food was amazing.

Went for Saturday Afternoon luncheon. Food and Service was top notch! Special mention to Carly - her bubbly personality made the experience a wonderful atmosphere.

My parents went there on the 15th January and loved the food and praised the staff. Really cosy atmosphere. The staff were so pleasant and friendly 😊 Great value for money, Mum got the seabass, dad got the steak. 2 sides. 3 pints. £61. Portions were perfect!

Had a lovely meal here,they were doing a special offer of half price main meals with a discount code so we thought we would give a go,the steak and wine pie was delicious and so was the chicken curry,had creme brulee and chocolate honey pot for dessert, which was amazing,thank you Chef W😊 The atmosphere was lovely and cosy and the service was fantastic from Chris H. I have a hazelnut allergy, which they paid special attention to,to make sure there wasn't any in my meals. Would highly recommend this restaurant 👌

Was there for Hogmanay, food excellent, staff excellent, couldn't have done enough for us.DJ was not the best too old music but we managed a dance ot two. Would recommend the Glovers Arms definitely.

Ok food, a little costly but good family place

Nice easy location and good parking available give bonus points straight away, but that only counts when the venue holds up .... which it does!!! A cosy country feel as you walk through, with different areas that allow privacy for diners. We needed a gentle premises for a light meal, allowing extended family to share some time together after a funeral. We booked in advance, and although it was comparatively short notice and the premises was holding two larger event bookings on the same day, we were thoughtfully catered for. Staff were discreet and helpful (we were not on the ball enough to catch names) and we were given a section to ourselves. The food was lovely and tasty, (soup) we went simple and comforting, but it was served in a way that made it still feel special. We had been here before for a family event and have absolutely no qualms in recommending!!! We will be back again!!!

Hi We dined at Glover Arms Perth and we were served by Stuart with Chef Felix - Both Service & food deserved a 10/10 - extremely polite & attentive to our needs - food was excellent we had starters & red wine beef lasagne & Venison pie - most definitely recommend & look forward to coming back

Very disappointing, Salad was poor with ingredients missing, the restaurant was not busy but we felt ignored

Severely disappointed with our visit for a family meal. Starters were poor for the price, pate with no normal salad/garnish, squid the same only came with a pot of garlic butter, lamb kofta ok but could've been hotter.No chicken and leek pie by 6pm so steak pie as a substitute, pie had carrots and turnip through it and the so called steak was like rubber and full of fat/gristle, veges rock hard. Lobster fishcakes ok but again no salad nor veges, lasagne ok. Having visited regularly in the past I don't think I will ever visit again, waste of money. Don't mind paying good money for decent food but last night was a total disappointment

Family lunch out, lovely greeting at the door, food was amazing , great quality, lasagne looked and tasted amazing my partner enjoyed his burger , my wee boys pizza he enjoyed . Staff were very nice , worth another visit soon

Lovely smell of candle when we went in. Very nice greeting at door. They are coping very well with all the restrictions. Lovely fire. Fish and chips was good portion. Had banoffee pie for pudding best ever had crackled toffee on top.

Just wanted to write to say how well organised the environment is within the Glover Arms. We went for lunch to celebrate my mums birthday who has not been out lunch in 8 months with everything that has been going on. The spaced out tables to make everybody safe, the clean tidy environment and the excellent service. The food was serviced very quickly and it was nice to be able to have a drink with our meal. So thank you very much to everybody involved at the Glover Arms to allow has to have a safe and happy family meal.

Me alojé en el Travelodge por la noche y comimos en este pub / restaurante. Ambos tuvimos el cordero duo (trozos de cordero y un pastel de pastor) que estaba delicioso. Atendido por una jovencita llamada Alicia quien, aunque muy ocupada, mantenía una sonrisa en su rostro y estaba muy atenta.

Fácil proceso de reserva, pub muy compatible con los requisitos de Covid. Consecuencia inesperada: ser colocado en una mesa frente a otras dos con comensales de la misma fiesta. Estábamos en su conversación, pero no formamos parte de ella, ¡no es genial para la primera comida! El menú era tentador, buenas opciones, pero la mía tenía muchas patatas, prefiero otras verduras. La camarera se olvidó de decirme que estaban disponibles hasta que yo pagara la cuenta. Para ser justos, ella se apresuró a hacerlo, así que nos habría ayudado a mí y a ella tenerlo anotado en los menús desechables. ¡Pub encantador así que después de Covid volverá!

Reservamos una mesa rápida y fácilmente e incluso se nos permite entrar temprano. El personal cortés encantador las chicas detrás del bar eran fantásticas crack. La comida era fabulosa, la hamburguesa era una de las mejores que he probado, eso no es una mentira. Definitivamente regresaré en mi próximo viaje a Perth. Brillante. Muchas gracias. Almuerzo aquí dos veces esta semana en la zona del bar, que admite perros. Reservado en línea. Muy buen servicio y comida sabrosa. Disfruté especialmente el dúo de cordero: rabadilla de cordero frita sobre verduras asadas y verduras con un pastel de pastor con queso cheddar. El pastel de banoffee también era encantador. Primera vez para comer fuera desde el cierre del cierre y me sentí muy cómodo yendo allí. Me estaba quedando en el Travelodge de al lado con mi suegra de 87 años.
