Cozy spot. Food was great and diverse and Chris was warm and friendly! Really loved the whole experience for lunch in November 2024.

We came for a large family meal to celebrate a birthday. The staff (especially Carly) were fantastic, welcoming, fun, accommodating and attentive). Nothing was to much trouble. The food by Alanna was excellent, not a scrap left on anyone's plates (not bad for a 3 course meal for 20+ people). We will definitely be back again. Thank you

I come here as often as possible due to working in Scotland and staying at the Travelodge next to it. The food is always 10 out of 10 and the staff are absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend the Glover Arms. Andy from Hull.

Best Sunday roast I've ever had. We stay in Oban (2 hours away) but we'll stop in anytime we're passing.

Needed to find a dog friendly pub for lunch and this was recommended. Dog friendly area with treats and water for the furry friends. Excellent service and delicious food. Recommend the rump steak! Will be back

The food is good, staff are friendly, theres a good and varied choice. The pub also has a nice, homey atmosphere.

Everything was great. Food was amazing 6 of us all had something different and loved it all. Great drink selection also. We had dinner on Monday evening our waitress looked after us very well and was really friendly. Definitely will come again and would recommend for food and drinks!

We just moved to Perth and were looking for a pub to call "our local"... after one visit here, we were set. Excellent customer service, very good food and lovely atmosphere. Well kept in terms of cleanliness too (which is rare these days) Will be happy to continue our visits here.

I'll be honest I was a little shocked buy the prices to start with but then when the food turned up I understood , excellence at its best with such professional staff the price is well worth what your getting , the flavours of the signature burger blew me away , impressed is an understatement

Possibly the worst Sunday roast I have ever been subjected to. The only decent part was the turkey, but I almost broke the plate trying to cut into the “roast” potatoes that I think the chef might’ve forgot to actually roast, the parsnips and yorkshire pudding were both burnt to cinders and the rest of the veg was barely cooked and and completely unseasoned. The waitress couldn’t have cared less when I complained and offered nothing to remedy the fact my family were spending £85 and leaving still hungry. Absolutely atrocious food and service.

We stopped off at The Lovers Arms for lunch on our way home to Aberdeen after our Perthshire holiday. The restaurant has such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and a very interesting and tempting menu. We were a party of 6 and when the food arrived (very quickly!) everyone agreed it was delicious. We had 3 growing boys with us and their plates were clear, and we particularly enjoyed the delicious penang curry. Special thanks to Zoe our waitress, who was so friendly and efficient and couldn't do enough for us! Highly recommend! 😊

My husband and I have been searching for an amazing Sunday roast for so long ,something that was close to home and not us having to drive miles & miles on our day off and it was right under our noses , wow we would definitely be returning to glover arms , staff were so welcoming and warm hearted , service was impeccable, roast was even more impeccable, thank you so much

Been here quite a few times now.. and their signature burger is dynamite along with their haloumi fries side, and their fantastic service… this place deserves 6 ⭐️’s

Visited on 29th June 2024 for dinner. We arrived a little early for our booked reservation but this wasn’t an issue. We were greeted and seated promptly. Nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant for a Saturday night which I liked even though it was busy the staff were really friendly. Food didn’t disappoint either. Great choice on the menu and the prices are reasonable on both food and premium alcoholic drinks. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area :)

Amazing. We loved it. We were attended by a great team and they helped with absolutely everything. The team you have there is first class. They even helped me configure my telephone to pay. What a great experience. Please call them and thank them because they are top. They were a bit cold at the start and they warmed up to give an amazing service.

Stopped in for some lunch. They had interesting food, drinks and pudding! My husband got the fish cakes were done beautifully, however wish it came with a sauce for extra flavor. I had the pot pie of the day. It had an amazing puff pastry and yummy filling, I do wish there was a little bit more of the filling so it could match the amount of puff pastry. However food was overall nice! We really had a hard time deciding what we were gonna get since all their menu items sounded lovely. The inside had a cozy feel. It wasn’t busy when we went for lunch. The staff was attentive and food came quick. We had the banoffee for dessert and it was delicious.

This is an amazing pub/restaurant that has never disappointed. Always worth the hour drive. Having been multiple times, the staff are always so friendly and attentive. The pub has lovely decor that gives it a rustic cozy feel. The food is incredible, their Sunday Roast is a particular favourite! During the colder months the log fires are also a rare treat! Will continue to visit for a long time to come

Great place, great people, even better food. Two lasagnas and a macaroni and cheese with brisket. We really enjoyed our food after exploring the highlands all day. The kitchen staff was extremely accomodating as we had arrived as they were closing. So appreciated!

Excellent customer service from Carly who suggested the beef in ale pie with extra gravy and ice cream with the Creme brulee. If the beef in ale pie is on the menu when you visit grab it before chef runs out. Tender beef in a delicious beefy gravy topped with fluffy puff pastry.

We had an amazing lunch today at the Glover Arms. We all choose to eat something from the lunch deal menu and it might have been cheaper but it certainly didn't lack in quality Staff were all very friendly and would definitely go back

Whole experience was fantastic. Our server Carla was amazing and so great with the kids. The food was fantastic, we were never left for too long and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. It was great to see Stuart still there as well after all these years!

Simply beautiful food, friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. I highly recommend the lasagna and the hunters chicken as they are the best I've had in Scotland since moving here. Don't be afraid to dive into there expertly prepared deserts that will leave you wishing you had room for more.

From start to finish the service was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris, Emma and the rest of the staff. They even catered for my fussy son (and dad). We love visiting The Glovers Arms.

Same old, same old. Food excellent and service speedy and warm. It's difficult to enlarge the menu to include more exciting dishes as a larger menu increases the waste.

Food was great, plates cleared. Waitress who served, took our order etc could learn a little more about customer service and how to be a little more friendly. One of our party was elderly and she was quite short with him when he was asking something.

Brilliant food from chef Danny and amazing service from Stuart. Could not recommend more ! Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Stuart catered to every need and was very attentive and his service was quick but not rushed.

We had a family gathering at The Glover Arms for Sunday lunch today and it was beyond everything we had hoped for. A delicious roast dinner with heaps of veg, very friendly staff and great service. We would definitely recommend a visit there

Absolutely dreadful,we booked table for the family for 6pm on Mother’s Day as a nice surprise for my wife and the Glover Arms spoiled everything.We had to wait 50 minutes for starter,we then had to wait another 50-55 minutes for our main which on arrival at our table were at best Luke warm with stone cold veg and this was the same on all 4 plates of food.When we all complained the reply was oh well we will get you another.Having waited so long and the thought of having to wait longer!we decided to leave hungry.Still had to pay £60 for starters and 4 drinks with not a hint of apathy or concern,just a sorry.The Glovers Arms spoiled what should been a lovely day for the family having a nice meal and celebrating Mothers Day with my wife and family.Dreadful Experience!!!

One of our party ordered a mains of Lamb, a little fatty and grizzly to say the least.

Hubby had the roast, which he said was lovely. I am gluten-free. Had the chicken curry but sent it back. We waited about 30 for our food. My rice, although it was sticky rice, was well stuck and hard. Curry didn't have much taste. When I spoke to the waitress, she said we'll it's sticky rice. Staff were lovely and pleasant, but we got no apology.

Had a great time at the Glover Arms, the food was great the service was a bit slow but that's understandable as it was quite busy. We were served by Carly and she was very helpful with our dietary needs, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere
