We had a wonderful experience at The Globe. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet. We slept very well. Breakfast was good. Neighborhood was charming and fun to walk around in.

Our room was on the 3rd floor so lots of steps, and reasonably priced. The amenities in the room weren’t too bad, but it had a pretty strong smoke smell. Staff were very nice and the breakfast was good!

My boyfriend and I stayed at The Globe Inn for a little get away. This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast, so we were a little skeptical. I must say we were pleasantly surprised! We stayed in the orient express which was such a nice comfy, cozy room. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace and jacuzzi were a great bonus. Breakfast was tasty and the staff was very pleasant. I wish I remembered the receptionist name, I believe she may have been an owner. She was very informative, helpful and so sweet! We will definitely be back! I want to see all the rooms in the place!

This was an amazing expierence. My boyfriend and I traveled and for our first trip we stayed at a "B&B" which did not understand the point of a B&B. The Globe Inn nails it! From the decor to the design of the room and amenities to the amazing staff and breakfast - they have it all. Highly recommend and we will be back. We stayed in the Orient Express Suite - gorgeous!

From the time Mike showed us our room my girlfriend had a smile a mile wide. We stayed in the Orient Express room. It was on the first floor right next to the entrance, very convenient. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection. We asked Mike if it was possible to have a love seat so we could sit together in front of the fireplace. When we came back from dinner a chair for two was in our room. What a perfect place and area to propose to the love of mine. We will definitely come back. The Globe Inn will be our anniversary destination every year.

Incredible hotel. Definitely a place for lovers young and old, a beautifully decorated haven in which to relax. And to top it off, a really comfy JACUZZI. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This was a heartbreaking experience. I really needed a break and I wanted to get away for one night alone where I could enjoy a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub. I traveled pretty far out of my way to get to The Globe Inn because they had a room with both. Well, I never found the switch to turn on the fireplace. It was probably on a remote control, but there was no remote in the room and no switch anywhere. I spent a lot of time looking. But the hot jacuzzi bath was more important to me. Unfortunately, the hot water ran out after just two minutes, so by the time there was enough water to cover the jets, all I had was a big tub full of ice-cold water. There was nothing left to do but crawl into bed, call my spouse, and cry. The worst part is, I really don't have a lot of money, and while the nightly rate might be a drop in the bucket for some people, it was a big deal for me. I didn't get anything I wanted for it. I left super early in the morning, didn't even stay for breakfast. I just wanted to get away as fast as possible and forget what a major bummer it was. Instead of getting rid of my stress, this stay added to it.

Such a great place to stay! Quant, cozy, and personal, just what we desired. Love the history and the spacious room. We stayed in the Vienna Bridal Suite and it was clean and so nice. Our room has a little sitting space, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, bathroom with shower, queen size bed, and desk area. As an added bonus, it smells like brownies outside, for real! Apparently there is a chocolate factory close by!

My grandparents previously owned the globe in years ago! They would be thrilled to see what the building looks like now.

We only spent one night there but it was a great experience. Check in was easy, great breakfast. Would definitely go there again..

Great location, great place to stay

Delightful room, delicious breakfast with generous portions, wonderful service, and very friendly staff. Historic inn well preserved. Relaxing rocking chairs on the front porch. Loved it!

I don't normally write a review until our stay is done, but I couldn't contain myself. This is NOT a hotel even though we were searching for hotels on a travel site. This is a first-class B&B. The rooms are super cozy, tastefully decorated in a rustic motif. The neighborhood it's in is a residential neighborhood. The bed is comfortable. It's got microwave, fridge and dishes. The room we're in has a pullout bed and a genuine Jacuzzi. The shower has a nice flow. The breakfast is a full breakfast. They have both a cold section and table service for a hot breakfast. The eating area is nicely decorated. The staff and owner are very friendly and accommodative. They don't charge enough for what they offer. Shhh... Don't tell THEM. We plan to always stay here when we need to visit the area.

I stayed 1 night in the Oriente Express suite, it was a wonderful experience, the room was spotless, clean, well decorated, the breakfast was complete and delicious, the staff was very attentive, it was a pity that there was no availability to stay all weekend, in addition to all the wonders, they gave us free upgrade !!!

Clean, mattress was too soft for us and shower was very small, but overall it was nice.

Clean, cozy and all the comforts of home but better. Well thought out rooms with all you could need. Very nice staff. Lovely breakfast. I will definitely be back. Great for a romantic retreat or bring the kids. I told my 8 year old nephew about the room and he asked why wasn't he here too, lol.

Very clean. Nicely decorated to maintain a Victorian vibe in keeping with the age of the building. Quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately our Schedule didn't allow us to walk around the area. Breakfast included. Always a plus. You can stick with the breakfast bar or also take advantage of a hot breakfast of eggs or French Toast. Only real complaint was how hard it was to get in and out of the bed. The new mattresses are very thick and this one was high off the floor in a four-poster bed frame. And the mattress was REALLY firm. Good news for my chiropractor, not so much for my spinal column. 🙄 If you can work with that, and you appreciate vintage charm, cleanliness and quiet, this place makes a nice change from the big hotel chains.

So much different than staying in the cookie cutter rooms in major chain hotels. Small town hospitality in the area I grew up in many years ago. Stayed for a week in June 2021.

This is by far one of the coolest hotels ive ever been too. The staff were really nice and even opened the bar just for me and my girlfriend. The themed rooms is such a great idea.

I have lived in the upper Buck's and Montgomery County area for the past 40 + years and never knew this little gem of a hotel/inn existed on 4th Street in East Greenville. I was in the market to rent an efficiency apartment for about 30 days and found the Globe Inn. The globe, as it is known, was built in 1895 and much of the inn is as it was back then. Unfortunately, the camera lens on my phone has been damaged and the pictures don't do the interior of the inn any justice. Many of the rooms have a theme which they have been decorated in and some examples of those rooms are the Kenyan room, the Amish room and Hemingway's room. The inn has three floors and the extended stay efficiency apartments are located on the third floor. To reach the efficiency apartments requires 2 steep stairways to climb. I don't believe there is an elevator in the building or at least I didn't see one while I was visiting there. Every morning each guest is treated to a full breakfast including various juices, coffee with assorted flavorings that can be added, Bagels, raisin toast, omelettes cooked to order along with sausage, ham and bacon, and assorted cheeses for the omelette. There is also instant oatmeal and fresh cooked French toast. The staff at the inn were very friendly and outgoing and bend over backwards to make your stay a good one. The Inn also offers a bridal package which includes the bridal Suite, room for a wedding reception, complete with a bar and other amenities. It's a great place to hold the reception and for the bridal party to hang out at while they're getting ready for the wedding ceremony. On the downside of this review, the stairs that I mentioned earlier are narrow and are steep and someone with a ambulatory disability would have a hard time using them. In speaking with other guests, I heard several of them saying that their mattresses were not the best. As for my mattress, my mattress was firm it was comfortable and allowed me to sleep like a rock on it. Overall I would give this place a 3.5-4 star rating. In the very near future, I will be purchasing a house in another state but when I return to visit my friends and family, I can guarantee that I will be coming back and reserving a room at the Globe Inn. Hope this review helps.

Realized we had a historical gem right in our back yard years ago. Stayed overnight recently as a birthday treat to husband and a break from kids and reality. He enjoyed the uninterrupted sleep and I enjoyed the solitude of reading in the jacuzzi and playing solitaire. Ordered dinner locally and it was a perfect evening to recharge. Building is gorgeous, breakfast was delicious and employees are professional and friendly!

We've taken several rooms, (off and on) over the course of a year, for work (more than 100+ nights at this location) Rooms are always clean and everything always functional. Mike and Deb are great to deal with and always accommodating. The rates are very reasonable, the rooms have a vintage feel, all-in-all its a beautiful historic hotel. The breakfast is always fresh, delicious and more than filling! I'd recommend staying if your passing through the area.

I've stayed at the Globe Inn a number of times, and have found the accommodations clean and comfortable,and the breakfast is good. The building is an old building, so it has the look and feel of an old building. Rates are reasonable and the staff is very nice.

Forever my favorite place to stay when I come skiing. The staff is always warm and welcoming. The room is always clean and the jacuzzi is always a great way to end the day after the slopes!!

Great place to stay for a relaxing getaway!

Start with the details. I would prefer to give 3.75 stars, but figured rounding up was better. Staff we nice, had no issues. Grabbed the romance package which included dinner that the Carriage House down the road. For being dated and in the middle of the rona I thought the room was clean. We still wiped the high use things down because you never know. Room was perfect for two as far as size. The fireplace was nice and romantically, it did get a bit toasty so we opened the window. Street noise wasnt so bad a few noise cars through the night. Everything worked in the room. Bed was not as all designed for romance, need I say more? Breakfast was average. I've had more options at a holiday inn but it was made to order. They forgot about the champagne which was included in the romance package. It wasnt enough to call the office after hours plus they gave us the bottle as we were leaving. I doubt we will be back as there are so many other options to choose from. It also didnt leave that ever lasting impression. Like I said, staff was nice, place was clean, everything worked.

This is the first hotel I have stayed in since Covid-19. I was very anxious, however those fears were eased by this experience. The hotel is clean, the staff is social distanced yet friendly, and the food service for breakfast is carefully planned out for each guest - not to mention delicious and freshly made. The room itself is a little getaway. The spa bathtub is perfect, it was easy to relax for the weekend and rejuvenate. The bed was a little uncomfortable, however the great pillows balanced it out and I was able to sleep well. This is a great local escape. I highly recommend Globe Inn.

Great service and beautiful rooms!

Such a cozy place. Perfect for a few days away. The Orient Express room was very nicely decorated. I loved the four poster bed with curtains. I closed them one night to get the full effect. Innkeeper was very nice and personable. The breakfast was very good. Made you order eggs with bacon and English muffins! Yum. They also used stuffed french toast. And the rasin bread with little nutella packets was a nice surprise. Who has nutella anymore? Was so happy for the treat. Quiet street. Big parking lot. And the jacuzzi tub was perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend The Globe Inn. We will be staying there again.

Perfect spot for a romantic weekend.

This was my first B&B, and I thought it was adorable. Very clean and spacious. Fiance and I stayed from Sunday to Monday, just to have a night away from home. We stayed in the Globe Suite, which is a little dated with the floral wallpaper but it honestly adds to the charm of appearing old fashioned and it complimented the room. There was a wonderful fireplace in room and a large Jacuzzi tub to relax in. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and homemade. We will be back for certain!

This hotel is great, the owners are courteous and accommodating and the rooms are clean and very well kept. If you are in the area. I recommend this hotel..plus the complimentary breakfast & buffet are Grade A quality food and service...A MUST STAY...will definitely come back when I'm back in town

Great place. WiFi kinda died on our trip. Had the Globe Suite, had an awesome jacuzzi, fantastic room. Bed was sadly a twin.

Mike always does an extraordinary job of accommodating us when our group travels here together. All rooms are clean, unique, and nicely appointed. Breakfast service is top-notch, with just about anything you could ask for available. We thoroughly enjoyed the town's nostalgic movie theater where we saw the newest Lion King movie, along with a great dinner at the Carriage House. We had an amazing weekend here!

Amazing hidden gem. Beautiful woodwork with an old country feel. Rooms are perfectly sized for a business person or a romantic weekend. Small kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge and a 2-peraon table.. Large closet with ironing board and iron. Flat screen TV with satellite. DVD player with a bookshelf full of DVDs to choose from in the hallway. Wall unit air conditioner. Cooked to order breakfast in the mornings. Comfortable bed. Unbelievable value in a quiet, safe, edge of town setting. The owners could not be nicer. They even walk you to your room and point out the amenities. Wow!

Stayed here on a quick trip to PA. The prices were affordable and we were very excited about all of the amenities and advertised on the website. HOWEVER, the owner left around 6 PM on a Saturday, and the main part of the building was locked up so there was no access to the bar. We didn't hear anything about the YMCA pool access or any of the other features advertised on the website. The place is nice, but it was very over advertised. Our stay was disappointing.

Best place to stay ever. The room was very compact with floral wallpaper and an ancient setup. Very very well maintained. Loved the jacuzzi. Started my day out with an amazing and a fresh breakfast. Very neatly served. I will definitely go again! :)

The entire experience with this B&B was exceptional. The gentleman that runs the place was really helpful, and recommended a carnival down the street for us to enjoy while staying the night that turned out awesome. Great fresh cooked meals for breakfast and overall just a lovely & unique atmosphere! WILL stay here again if I make it back to PA!

This was a very clean, well kept facility with a nice country hometown decor with an accommodating staff. A nice quiet area and setting. I’m sorry I missed the breakfast due to a minor last minute change in plans. But I would gladly stay at this hotel at a later date and spend the night.

We held my mother's 90th birthday party here. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. Beautiful setting! I'd hold another event here without a doubt!

My wife and I stayed one night in the Bombay Room. It had a fireplace and a jacuzzi. Loved the jacuzzi! The room was uniquely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. This building is very old and has a unique history. That said, it should be noted that the stairs and hallways are narrow, as they were built many years ago. The breakfast was great. Made to order omelets, great coffee, fruit, toast, bagels, cereal, and several juice selections. The staff at breakfast was very friendly. We had a great time, and would definitely come again.

Arrived at 3PM and the Place was locked up tight. Called the number for the hotel and was told that check in is at four. I knew that I was early but thought that I’d have a drink at the bar while my room was prepared. Took a walk and came back at four. Found out that there was a bar but it was not open. Was shown to my room on the third floor, there are no elevators and the guy let me struggle with my luggage walking up two dark narrow flights of stairs. The hall and room smelled dreadful but I had no choice since I needed a place to stay. The room was dark since the lighting was inadequate, but when I lit every lamp and opened the curtains I realized that the place was threadbare and dirty. There was no jacuzzi, just a tiny shower stall. The sheets were paper thin and stained so I slept in my sweats. The towels were gray and very worn. The only good thing I can say is that breakfast was good and the lady who served it was very very nice. Otherwise it is in my no fly zone now. Suggest you avoid this property.

What a cool place! We biked there and the owner embraced us with open arms. He stored our bikes in a closed room and got us settled in. The room was decorated in a Santa Fe theme with a jacuzzi tub. Free made to order breakfast that was fantastic.

This is the cutest little Inn that I have seen. It is cozy and warm. I stayed in the Orient Express Suite and it was like I stepped back in time and slept in a study. It had a fireplace and jacuzzi tub, it was quite relaxing. I will definitely be going back when I’m in the area or for a long weekend getaway.

The Globe Inn is a cute, clean, and quaint b&b, that offers a delicious breakfast and a good night's sleep. Location is in the outsirts of town, not too far from Walmart.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days for Thanksgiving. This is our second year here and this time was even better than the last. The manager is extremely kind and accommodating and the woman who served breakfast was polite, hospitable and brought out our food quickly. The food was delicious. We definitely plan on coming again in the future.

Room was very dark, bathroom was extremely small. Very nice jacuzzi in the bedroom and the place was not super crowded so it was a nice and quiet getaway. Breakfast was good. After breakfast though, we didn't see staff the whole stay except for check in, breakfast, and check out. Thought that was a little odd.

My boss put me up here for the night for Work. It was different experience from a normal hotel. Everything in the room was clean and working. The breakfast was amazing in the morning! Staff very friendly. Would stay again.

We stayed for a nice getaway weekend. Could not have stayed at a better place. It is in a beautiful town also located not to far from peddlers village, a quaint place to spend a day shopping. The room was wonderful, decorated very nicely. Not too many places where you are escorted to your room. The breakfast offered everything u could possibly want, cooked fresh. The inn is decorated so fashionably and tasteful. We will definetley make many return stays at this precious inn.

My husband and I just spent the weekend at The Globe Inn for our anniversary and we were very pleased with the accommodations. Everything was clean, the owners are very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We are definitely going back soon :)

The building itself is really nice gives you a real good feeling I walked pass and went in as I noticed that they had a sign out for bed and breakfast wanted to see if they done breakfast for walk ins but the don’t. I understand certainly looks a interesting building to stay in and from what I saw historical and antiques around which is also a big bonus.

Decor is absolutely adorable, breakfast is tasty (and cooked to order!) tho the time slot is small on a holiday. The rooms are a very comfortable size, well lit, and we didn't have any sound issues (tho we did pay extra for a room with 'extra sound proofing' as a feature). The hallways smell like incense/parfum and it is a really interesting vibe! Host/ess are very hands off, they let you make your own experience... I tend to enjoy more sociable runners, but it was still a nice experience. Place is NOT accessible for ppl with mobility issues, lots of stairs and narrow or heavy doors.
