One ton soup … amazing’ special chow main lovely

Ordered £50 worth of food and would have been better spent down the supermarket. Avoid!

Dreadful takeaway,chow mein was mush noodles broken up n very overcooked, rice dish which should be spicy was bland and like egg fried rice, cicken curry had more bamboo n chestnuts than meat n was bland as hell. Pathetic

Honestly the worst takeaway we’ve ever had. Massive waste of money and all of the food was inedible. Do not order from here.

Tom yam soup was sharp and delicious. Spare ribs were nice and stir fried vegetables were crunchy. Service was extremely friendly and warm.

Worse Chinese I've ever had. Black bean had no taste. The special rice was very weird. Everything was very bland and frozen. She confirmed this when I asked what contained peanuts but she couldn't tell me because the curries were all bought in frozen.

The staff are friendly but the food is shocking and tasteless.

This is a great place for a Chinese highly recommend never go anywhere else

Online is states the restaurant Is open until 1030pm but as I arrived the shop was closed luckily a women was inside saying they closed at 930pm now and she had My order lucky but as for the food personally wasn't very nice , the chow main was really greesy and the chicken balls were rock solid, the rice wasn't bad its rice. Salt and pepper chips were placed in a paper bag and was dipping in grease I was really disappointed with definitely not be recommending this restaurant to any one

Omg how bad is the food. Wish I would had read the reviews prior to ordering. Absolutely garbage over priced tiny portions zero flavour and burnt. Ordered prawn crackers got literally 6 in a tiny bag. Filthy dirty place never ever ever again. Heath inspector should pay a visit. Conning us tourists into buying terrible food. Zero star rating

Sweet and sour was like congealed marmalade, chow mein was burnt and tiny noodles, chicken curry was in such a thin sauce, 99% vegetables 1% chicken. Won ton soup tasted like green tea

This is apparently chicken fried rice the most disgusting uncooked horrible and unhygienic old food ever eaten only fit for the bin same as this disgusting buisness

Needs a minus 100 star option added just for this takeaway any positive reviews are clearly payed for by the owner....I hope there personal hygiene is not as disgusting as there digusting food, absolute mockery off takeaway food this is the worst takeaway in England by far please do not make yourself sick by buying this rubbish disguised as food

Yuk worst food I have ever eaten well we couldn't put in the bin

The food was cold ,the chicken was really tough we wasn't given the correct order it tasted as if it was cooked yesterday and rewarded today .All in all the food was disgusting

How has this place got good reviews 🤔 chips stale curry had no taste and chicken balls stale if I could give no stars I would Had a better meal from the curry isles in Asda I can only imagine this place survives on passing tourists

The food is fantastic value for money , with plenty of taste and excellent service , highly recommend the ribs ,picked up at 7:30pm he had just finished cooking so lovely and hot .

Firstly, this is far from a palace. The woman at the counter was extremely rude and ignorant and good customer service didnt seem to be her top priority. Secondly, the beef with green peppers in black bean sauce was basically beef in bisto sauce and lacking in green pepper and black beans #ShouldHaveGoneToTobyCarvary

Ordered a takeaway visiting family cost over £40 and was absolutely disgusting the beef chowmein and chicken was exactly the same colour, actually not sure it was meat of any form. Ribs were greasey and just awful

Had Pad Thai. It hit the spot. Very tasty. Would definitely go to Bamboo Palace again.

Worst chicken curry I have EVER had... thought I'd treat myself after a hard week, wish I'd knocked up an omlett at home, wouldve been far tastier. Dreadful, would not reccomended

Always delivers good food, consistently

Just had chicken curry well chicken like rubber and a watery sauce that tasted mildly of curry it's now in the carpark bin in the harbour,misis had beef charmain just very sweet to much sugar. Need to get someone hoo knows how to cook Chinese food.

Simply terrible. A quiet Wednesday night off season so they should be able to get things spot on. Anything that should have been crispy was extremely soggy and cold, all sauces totally tasteless, tiny portions and the chicken balls were inedible. This is the second takeaway from here and the first was equally bad ,although benefit of the doubt given the first time. Best avoided currently.

Well portioned, tasty food prepared quickly. Take away only. Reasonable prices. Parking available nearby near the Harbour. Definitely merits becoming the go to place for late night cravings.

Really nice food. Down on holiday and found this online. Had others from ilfracombe before and this was the best.

Great food. Really tasty and not bad value for money either. Food was ready in about 20 minutes. The only downside is that they don't deliver (at time of writing) and only take cash payments.

Absolutely mortified. So,to start off with the woman at the counter was very sour faced and ignorant towards us. Bbq ribs? They were the smallest ribs with hardly any meat on them,mostly bone. The curry was disgusting with raw onion and tasted like spew. the chips were cold,aswell as partly black,and partly greens. As for the crispy beef,i was unware that the name was changed to chewy beef,what a disgusting place. Never again,not even worth the one star.
