A great pub,food is really good,attentive staff,great beers ,(always a few great IPAs) can't fault the place.

The staff and the locals are so nice. Nothing was too much. Light and friendly atmosphere. Had a wonderful experience. I was on my own dining and it was wonderful. Would recommend to everyone.

Food excellent. Drink excellent. The staff offered my dining companion to sample about 4 craft beers - 3 beers - 1 stout. Had a beer with his starter; G&T with his Main; stout with his dessert. He said they were all excellent. I had a Luscombe elderflower (he drove there; I drove home; plenty availability for the designated driver) with ice and a slice of real lemon and real lime. Not that packaged pre-sliced rubbish. Then a latte with dessert. Both of us had three courses. I can honestly say for pub grub it was 5🌟 as was the knowledge from the two people who looked after us. Both on food and drink. The music was good, didn't interfere with conversation. They took time to chat to us. From what we observed everyone received a friendly Welcome and spot on service. Customers in for a get-together over a drink and a chat. Great relaxed Saturday night atmosphere. When we arrived at least five tables, differing amounts of diners being served. All efficiently and friendly. When we arrived we were the only table of two and luckily it was in front of the open fire, truly a bonus for me. Lovely old country pub, a cut above the rest.

Always a warm welcome, great drink, great food. Small but perfectly formed.

What an excellent experience. We had small children and the care of seating was superb. Also sprinkles on the icecream for them. Wonderful service and food. Choc. Orange pannacotta to die for. Thankyou chef and all staff.

Such a cute pub, open and warm. We had a lush long walk then ate the BEST satay I’ve ever had. Such a lovely vegan option. Yum! Come and visit.

After a beautiful but cold Rosemore Glow experience, we had booked dinner at the Globe Inn. It was a perfect end to a perfect experience. Traditional old village pub with fantastic food, wine, service, and atmosphere. We both had the Sirloin steak and everything cooked to perfection. Try the blue cheese sauce, which is really good and not overpowering. Great deserts, too. The wine was very good as well, and the service was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome.

Stayed here for 2 nights while at the RHS Rosemoor Xmas Fair. This was our fourth time. The pub is excellent, the hosts were welcoming and the food is out of this world. Beer also great. October 2023. Still a brilliant place to eat, drink and stay.

Well worth stopping on way back to Exeter

Just popped in for a couple of drinks after driving from Bournemouth before going on to our accommodation. No food review, as we didn't eat, although from what I witnessed, it looked and smelt great. The pub was busy with a great atmosphere. I would recommend booking if you wish to eat as most tables were reserved. The staff are very friendly, and the locals are welcoming . This is alongside an excellent beer garden and accommodation, which makes The Globe Inn an excellent place for all your needs.

We stopped at the Globe for our son's wedding, we had a lovely relaxing stay nothing was to much trouble for the staff, breakfast and evening meal was lovely and the rasberry sorbet was the best I have ever tasted. Would highly recommend the Globe.

Really nice atmosphere. Nice touches on the personalised table reservation & the vinyl music. Eco-aware, which is brilliant. And it’s excellent to see ethical meat choices. It was lovely to hear so many different accents in a friendly local. The pub is designed for customer-experience, and it feels very comfortable as a result. The brownie is delicious and a great end to a really nice evening. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you.

Went there for the beer festival and had a great time, the beer and cider selection was great and certainly didn't manage them all. The BBQ food wasn't as good as it was described but certainly filled a hole 😇

Great pub. We've never eaten here but discerning friends do and they rate it highly. We go for the pub quiz and love the place, great company and quality ale/cider from a CAMRA member. Sam and Jim are brilliant hosts. If you are near Beaford, don't drive by.

The Globe Inn in Beaford is a traditional Devon pub serving a range of drinks & great food. Staff are professional & attentive. The cosy atmosphere is a perfect backdrop for relaxing evenings with friends.

We stayed here over the weekend whilst visiting family and had one of the best hospitality experiences. The rooms were amazing and had great facilities! Honestly had the best nights sleep in the bed. Breakfast was also flawless; best bacon I have ever tasted. Such lovely service and we cannot wait to come back - it will not take us very long to return. The Globe Inn is by far the best pub I have visited.

Had an evening meal here after booking the night before and they accommodated us and our dog really well…..atmosphere was really friendly and welcoming from staff and people in the pub and the food was really good (garlic bread was tasty but slightly too crispy for our liking) Local lager was excellent and the Sauvignon Blanc was lovely and dry…….would definitely recommend for a stop off if you’re passing or staying locally……worth the 20 minute drive from where we were staying

Great pub, excellent food and very genial host

We were visiting Rosemoor and wanted a pub not too far away. Excellent place. Parking available and lots of outdoor seating which will be good in summer. Staff very helpful and friendly. The local ale was fabulous. If we had time we would have eaten there as the food looked good and then probably 5 stars.

Excellent food and range of beers and ciders

We cannot thank Sam and Jim enough. We got married at Tree Top Escape in August and had our evening reception at the Globe Inn. We cannot speak more highly of the accommodation and hospitality that we and our guests received. We had a brilliant party. It finished off our wedding day perfectly. For anyone who decides to get married at Tree Top Escape (you will have an amazing day. It's beautiful there) and would like an evening reception, please consider this place. Thanks once again! Ace owners who went out of their way to make our stay at their pub a delight! Rooms upstairs were lovely. The food here is special with lots of local produce, but also keeps its pub vibe with people drinking at the bar and a top selection of beers from forward thinking breweries.

Great food and a warm friendly welcome

Stopped here for an incredible Sunday Lunch, which was was large, beautifully cooked and excellent value. Started with some antipasti and could not get enough of the parsnip crisps given to us with our drinks! Staff were very helpful and were very good at drink selections given the wide choice of beers and ciders available.

We came on the recommendation of one of the Rosemoor staff and were very impressed; service, food and beer were exemplary. The members of staff/owners were really friendly and helpful. This is absolutely one of the best pubs we have visited in a long, long time. Our only regret is that we didn't tip (we intended to do it on the bill at the end but there wasn't an option...it was getting very busy by this time too); the service deserved reward.

Absolutely wonderful place & service. They fitted us in for a Sunday Roast at the last minute. Homemade parsnip crisps to snack on with our drink on arrival 👌. Followed by our Sunday Roast which was so delicious, definitely up there as the best in a long time! Totally recommend if you are passing or living anywhere nearby. This is what I would call a proper pub, well kept local beer and cider, great food and most of all a welcoming atmosphere from the team running it and their customers.

First class service along with the food serviced, absolutely wonderful to eat and very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent choice of Ciders, well worth going to but recommend you reserve a table like we did. Shall visit again when next in the area, thank you.

An absolutely must visit Inn. Loved the food and the drink. The people are marvelous. If you are in the area do not hesitate. Seriously one of the best pubs I have been in.

Had a very good experience at the globe inn, food was very good (although I wish there was fish and chips on the menu) and their help for people with allergies was good too, staff were incredibly friendly and even went to the length of teaching js how to play bar billiards! The overall atmosphere in the pub was nice and the beer garden was also very nice. I highly recommend this pub.

We visited this pub whilst staying in the area on a birthday break away. I rarely write reviews but thought this was a must. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and provided an amazing service. Delicious food that had no faults. Cannot recommend enough! One of the bests pubs I have been to in a long time. Really friendly staff. Food was also great, and a large selection of beers. Jim behind the bar was very knowledgeable, and made us tourists feel like locals. Would be back in a flash.

Great pub and great selection of craft beers! The owner was super friendly and helped give us recommendations on what beers to try. He also saw that we were playing a board game and got us to try out some new ones he had at the back. Will def be back

Believe the reviews - an absolute gem! Lovely friendly, accommodating people. Never been before and were only staying in the area. We managed ta late table on a Saturday night. Food was spot on and the ale selection was superb. Landlord very happy to chat about the pub and the beer which was great. Good prices too. If you're local I hope you realise how lucky you are.

Fantastic classic "old pub" with a great range of real Ales and marvelous food. The hosts (Jim & Sam) made us very welcome and couldn't do enough to help! Attention to detail was incredible, such as access to pub games and milk for tea in beautiful "Blue" room. Many thanx. Highly recommend this Inn!!!

Evening meal with friends. A great menu and an even greater choice of beers! Offered some tasters of beer to help decide, nice touch! Loved the beer I had and the food was very good. Staff are excellent too. Seating is either inside or outside. We went on a Tuesday. This is a little gem, they also have rooms to rent. We shall return !
