The Glasshouse in Corby

Paid £13 per head for a Rod Stewart tribute. Nowhere near enough seats, nowhere to check coats etc. Every time I've been to this place under its various owners it's been poor.

The restaurant was very cold to sit in. Lots of customers kept their coats on. Staff not trained. Do not take card payments. Limited lunchtime menu just adequate. Won’t be going back.

My friend and I met here for lunch and had the most amazing, fresh strawberry cheesecake. Lovely service.

worst eating experience of my life.staff totalled untraind and incapable {although charming & polite} those not having starters finished before starters served.rest of carvery supplied to remainder of party except for two,myself & partner who had to wait 20-30mins for fresh vegetables & yorkshire puddings.went to collect and found a chef who seemed to have no interest in either cooking or serving.vegetables were good but yorkshires were obviously reheated & soggy.beef was tough & grisly.sweets provided free gratis were good but order was misdelivered. this club is a beautiful place to visit but not recommended for a happy eating wexperience.

No vamos a volver aquí en una prisa. . . . . Me pasó por aquí para un par de copas con mi esposo y en leyes de fin de Halloween. El lugar estaba vacío. Los aseos de mujeres no tenía luces de trabajo. Informamos a los miembros de personal detrás de la barra, a lo que dijeron "Yo he reportado esto a mis días de director hace pero nada hecho! "tenían una luz de velas que hecho nada.El lugar también tenía un olor raro, sólo puedo describir como perro mojado. . . . Los vasos también estaban muy sucias.

Un grupo de mujeres fuimos al Invernadero para el té de la tarde para celebrar el 40 cumpleaños de mi hija, a principios de noviembre.Al llegar y ver la habitación vacía y comente sobre lo que fue una habitación preciosa, la decoración era muy agradable.Nos sentamos a nuestro té de la tarde y todos nos comentábamos lo sucio las tazas eran, y nos dijeron que el gerente, que inmediatamente respondió "no ponerlos fuera mi personal no"! ! ! .Las tazas fueron retirados y la pusieron en un lavavajillas y entonces ella teteras de té al instante trajeron recién hecho que no podíamos beber sin tazas. 25 minutos después llegamos y tazas que tuvimos que pedir té fresco! ! ! .Los sándwiches y las tartas, llegamos ahora nos dijeron que habíamos pedido productos frescos para nuestro té de la tarde que era claramente no es el caso. Los sándwiches y pasteles los más posible y el más pequeño bollos eran frías y empapadas en el fondo que demostró que se habían comprado como congelados y solo descongelarse.También comprendimos que la habitación estaba reservada para nuestra fiesta privada sólo que comenzó como tal, pero al final de personas seguían apareciendo y permiten también una fiesta y con niños pequeños que eran constantemente corriendo y gritando.Me temo que no era mi o muchos otros de la idea del grupo de un té por la tarde agradable y sabroso. Y sin duda no volveré.

We went to the glasshouse for a 40th birthday afternoon tea. When we went to the table we noticed that all the cups had not been washed properly. The girl took them away and put them in the dishwasher & didn't replace them. She then brought the sandwiches which was egg, cheese and pickle, & chicken & bacon,the bread was dry Then came 3 teapots, we then had to ask her for tea cups ,20 mins later the tea had gone cold, she had to get the tea cups out the dishwasher. The cakes was out of a box and obviously frozen. The pastries looked if they needed cooking they all had soggy bottoms. Not good

Fuimos para una merienda para un baby shower. Había un montón de sándwiches y tortas de té e infinidad de ollas para todos 10. 00 por cabeza. Los gerentes hijo pequeño ayuda y en 9 años que podía enseñar a adultos una o dos cosas sobre buscando después de que el cliente, él era un deleite y que hizo que la visita especial.

Paramos para tomar algo rápido con algunos amigos, muy impresionado con el servicio y la música en vivo café estilo cafetería (no demasiado alto, justo), un lugar relajado y agradablemente sorprendente experiencia. Los precios estaban en el extremo superior de lo que yo considero normal para una noche local. . . Pero el ambiente. más que compensó por esto. . . La pena llovío. sólo para comprobar los muebles! . . .

This is a great place to come and have a good night out. Good food, see ice and company. Would recommend

I went here with a friend in the summer and had a freaks have which was amazing. Decided to take my partner here today but was left feeling very disappointed. Waited 20 min just for drinks. When they arrived the freaks hales were not presented as well as last time and no longer included a flake and cookie but still cost the same! I was unable to drink the milkshake as it tasted really funny. Not chocolatey at all. So basically I paid £4 for a donut! Doubt I will visit again!

Visited this place quite a few times in the past and was always pleased with the quality of their coffee. Also this places offers cocktails during tge evening, as well as food and other drinks. Staff is polite and attentive, prices are slightly above average.

Had works leaving do here. It's a cool place. Had lunch as well there on a different day, service was a bit slow and the variety wasn't great. Ordered cake and it was a bit dry and not too great.

My wife and I decided to try out The Glasshouse knowing nothing about it & we were glad we did. The decor looks great & we were greeted by very polite staff. We chose the Scallops for our starter & they were cooked to perfection. I ordered Steak & my wife ordered Lamb, both cooked perfectly.

My two friends and I visited the glasshouse on Wednesday and when we entered were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful young waiter. We said that we were going to order a glass of wine and he gave us the option of sitting upstairs or downstairs. We chose to go upstairs and although it was quite warm, the surroundings were lovely. He couldn't have been more friendly and suggested that if all three of us was ordering wine then it might be better to buy a bottle. However, one of my friends was drinking just coffee so it wasn't cost effective. I noticed that the cost of coffee and cakes was quite expensive so I wouldn't be inclined to visit the glasshouse if that is all I wanted but will certainly be back.

A friend and I walk from work to Corby town in our lunch time regularly. We used to always go to a well known coffee shop, however, we have now found the best coffee in Corby. The person that served us was the nicest, happiest, most friendly person ever. The coffee is consistently really excellent, and the cakes are very tempting, the decor is stunning. I really want to try an evening meal there, the food looks very tasty. This is our new cafe of choice.

Me and mum mum came here the other day to enjoy a milkshake. As seen on Facebook the 'freak shakes' we ordered them but they weren't as they had advertised. They brought one out first then the other last. By the time the other one was out my mum had already drank her milkshake. We paid over 10 for 2 'freak shakes' but we received the normal milkshakes. We were really disappointed by this, and we don't think we would come back due to the false advertisement on Facebook. But the staff were lovely and well dressed.

Caught up with some friends there, the barstaff were excellent, the live singer was awesome, not too loud but perfectly adjusted for atmosphere whilst allowing for general hubbub and table side conversation, tables were unique with little fold out panels, didn't try anyfood but using everything else as a yard marker it'll be good....impressed.

Visited here today with daughter for lunch. Went upstairs and ask if we were to just find a table. Young girl asked us in very unwelcoming manner what we wanted to eat as we hadnt sat down or looked at the menu we said we didn't know, with that she walked off. So did we we and took our money to a more welcoming venue. As you can quess will not be visiting again. Suggest staff need training in how to deal with the public.

Amazing and well worth the 5 star rating I have gave it.

It was nice but costly I will go back with the kids would love the afternoon tea see you Friday or Saturday hope it's not to busy 🙏

Been here twice for evening drinks with friends. There was a great atmosphere both times and I enjoyed relaxing and socialising whilst listening to live music. We enjoyed the range of cocktails, although pricy. Cocktails always are, however. Last Friday, they were short staffed, but the staff present worked incredibly hard and didn't keep anyone waiting. I would like to return soon to try out the food.

It's a nice place to go out for a drink or two. The interior is very elegant, with comfortable sitting areas. The Glasshouse doesn't have extensive cocktail menu, but adequate to satisfy most tastes.

Popped in to see Dexter playing, enjoyed a lovely relaxed evening.

Well I think ambiance is important and this place has it by the bucket load, friendly staff that were very helpful and accommodating. There was no kids menu but they did say that they would make something if requested, luckily the kids are not fussy and don't eat alot.

Corby Town Centre is now a great place to spend an evening in.

Fabulous food, music and atmosphere - perfect end to a fabulous 50th birthday. Thanks to all at the Glasshouse for going the extra mile.

My wife and I went to The Glasshouse and thoroughly enjoyed it, the deco is brilliant, the service was great and there was live music, the woman vocalist was fantastic and they put on a great range of songs. We will definitely be going back.

I've been here a handful of times now, mainly for the acoustic nights which are held on Friday nights.

This place is unique and offers something different to corby From the great coffee, amazing food, vast range of alcohol and cocktails.

Had a lovely meal and wine at The Glasshouse ... I felt that that the prices reflect that you have your table for the night so you don't feel rushed , waitress service and live music the atmosphere is relaxed and the surroundings are lovely the food portions were just right for me ... I have also tried the coffee in The Foundry and I'm fussy about coffee ... The coffee they serve is delicious best in town

Perfect venue to entertain customers or staff parties. Superb live music in a classy venue. Best collections of beers and spirits in Corby.

Thought we would give this new venue a try for a meal, all four of us were not disappointed. From the tasteful surroundings to the fabulous service and the delicious food this place is well worth a visit. There was great background music and good live music from about 9pm. All our meals were perfect and the quality of ingredients used are superb. The coffee place downstairs has the most amazing cakes. Will definitely be going back.

Only been for coffee and cake so far but is a lovely venue. Decorated upstairs to a high standard with comfortable arm chairs and couches as well as solid tables and comfortable dining chairs. Downstairs is a basic coffee shop which is nice. You can take your coffee upstairs so only trouble is carrying it yourself up the stairs but I didn't mind that. Looking forward to trying one of their afternoon teas or a meal at night. There is also a bar upstairs for those who prefer a nice glass of wine or other alcoholic beverage. All in all I lovely establishment from what I have experienced so far.

I want to start by saying that the waiter resolved our complaint and gave us all free food as compensation so there are no hard feelings here. I can't fault the staff at all they are all trying hard and eager to please which was great.
