Always have a great time here. Lovely staff, funny acts and good atmosphere but totally underrated.

Fun gay bar based in Deptford Bridge/Greenwich. Close to transport links. We've always had fun here. From the music, drag shows and the super friendly bar staff (especially Sam) If you want something different than the expensive Soho bars. This one is for you!

Been off and on for the past 10 years, arrive later for a livelier atmosphere, prices are great, staff are friendly and music and acts are enjoyable. What’s not to like!

Nice enough place very clean and tidy. Reasonable entry fee and nice enough staff. Only caught the last 10 mins of the act but seemed to go down well. Little sparsely decorated but that's hardly an issue. Standard drinks available at average prices.

Nice pub although limited selection of beers, has become a lot tamer than it once was.

I love this place. All the comfort of a friendly local pub, with regular fun drag acts. If that's your thing, you should definitely give this place a go.

A charmless, lacklustre place that feels like something out of a crime documentary. On a Saturday night they had about 20 people, eeek.

Great little local pub, but best to arrive before 10 as to avoid the door fee. We saw Mrs Moore; it was a great show and very funny, great singer and professional.

Basic gay pub possibly dated to some but I love it there even though drinks bit over priced the entertainment is always great and you feel welcome I will always support old school gay venues and this one is a gem

Went on Sunday for the bank holiday super Sunday . Fantastic friendly vibe and great atmosphere. The 3 acts singing together at the end was so poignant and emotional , great end to 3 amazing performances. Long may this pub continue to keep us entertained x

A literal institution in South East London. Friendly, fun and the only gay bar/club south of the river within easy reach of the DLR and Greenwich. Live entertainment is on every night and is always top quality. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always fantastic. Music until 4am and the DJs on a Friday and Saturday are great. Definitely recommend visiting on a weekend....get there before 11 to see the cabaret and stay for the dancing.

Can’t believe this place exists in Lewisham! The drag shows are wonderful and amazingly free entry. Very nice decor and atmosphere inside. Highly recommend for a night out, this sort of thing would cost fortune in central London. Just bear in mind that the night starts quite late (best to arrive around 10/11PM).

This place is fantastic. I was visiting from out of the country and I felt like I was at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was quick and attentive, and the show I saw with Tanya and the Duchess was INCREDIBLE! Definitely worth going.

Great entertainment and very friendly staff

It's a shame because the food was good and the lady serving was great. The £85 fine that came through the door was good too.... We had a booking for 9 for 6:30 and me and another were running late so didn't get there till 7:30. Quickly read the top of the sign which said something like for pub users only, thought great I can park here and went in. So fast forward to getting the fine I lodged an appeal but as we had a tab and I paid in cash didn't get a receipt or have a bank statement to prove was there. Thought ok, I'll ring the pub and the guy who answered basically said there's 4 signs and you should have read them can't and won't help. That's fine it's my fault I didn't read the whole sign due to running late but the attitude from the guy was by far anything helpful. Will not be going back there which truly is a shame and the other 7 people won't be either.

It's a lovely bar but very few customers on Sunday evening at 7pm.

We arrived at 10pm and we were the only people there (apart from staff too)! Some people did dribble in around 11pm but in total there was no more than 12 people in the place which was disappointing. We ordered drinks and wow! Mega expensive! 3 vodka cokes for £21.60, the west end is cheaper! The show was half hour late and she was a very good singer. Door staff were really friendly and had a good laugh with them as to are the staff behind the bar. Good pool table but the cues are in terrible condition so don’t waste your money playing, no chalk and one of the two cues was broken. I think either lower the prices so it’s inline with other local pubs and/or extend happy hour which will hopefully attract customers in earlier.

Local pub with a dance floor and great atmosphere. Only went to see some friends there. No idea what to expect but found friendly door staff, the music was good and everyone was having fun. I will definitely be going back.

Fun pub to visit in the Greenwich area. They host quite a number of events throughout the week. It can get really full later in the evenings but it’s still a great place to visit for a few drinks.

With #LGBTQ a huge part of our new Deptford Heritage Festival due to the play #Liberty about how the LGBTQ and Civil rights movement was established in 1930s Britain in Deptford being staged 14-28 Feb as a festival and London Theatre event with big name cast.

Went there with my family for a drink at 4pm before a wedding. Got thrown out with the reason “no children! We are a gay pub!” I know and want to raise my children being open and accepting. But I guess this pub does not care about bringing up a more inclusive next generation. Wonder how the bar staff would react if he went to a “family friendly pub. No gays allowed”. Guess there would be an outcry.

Always have a great time especially when we have the performs. The vibes are great and the bar staff are lovely and encourage you to have a great time rather than service you and leave it that they engage and makes you want to come back for more..

Went along for my daughters Hen and we had a fabulous time. The drag queen made us most welcome and the disco after was good too. Definitely recommend this place.

Good atmosphere on the south east London, first time but I felt like been always there

Me and my boyfriend went to the pub and were having a lovely time, when the white drag queen this evening came on. She could sing and again we were enjoying the atmosphere of the place and the people in it- but then the comedy section of her act came and she was just really racist. First she made jokes about the black bouncers and black children, then one about an Indian lesbian who was suicidal because her family was conservative - none of which was sympathetic or particularly challenging, just about donating “two pounds a month to little black kids” and not “being racist”. As an interracial couple we were very uncomfortable and left immediately, as did two other people of colour. Genuinely sad to see this at what we hoped would be our local gay pub. We go to gay pubs to feel welcome and this was exactly what we were hoping to avoid.

Can I do -1? I had a great bar experience with one bar staff but appalling with the other. A great time with friends and other punters alike. I asked if I could request a song to the bar man, which he was very rude and blunt in almost shouting no, so I was quite taken aback considering id come for a laugh and a dance with friends and then told me he found me offensive and wanted me out when I asked why he was so rude. Other bar staff seemed to be afraid of him.

The people are friendly here and the cabaret fun...but it all feels very dated...went on a Friday night recently and I didnt feel high energy dance music blasting out loudly was really what anyone wanted...when there's only 5 people in the entire place it all felt a little OTT and should give the staff the hint that they are not really appealing to what people want...I fear this place will close due to its refusal to change or modernise

I have been coming to this establishment for over a decade now. Recently the pub has been refurbished and opened up, making more use of available space. Great atmosphere, crowd ranges from all ages at the weekend and I would describe them as a mix of locals and students. Obviously this is a gay venue, but all are welcome as long as LGBT friendly. Staff are quite friendly and welcoming. Caberet every weekend (Friday - Sun) followed by DJ until fairly late on Fridays and Saturdays. Drinks can be pricey sometimes, but then again it is London! I believe there are a range of drinks offers which can offset the prices. All in all, a great enjoyable night out. I usually go as part of a group at the weekends and we always have an excellent night in a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Weekends are usually very busy, although week nights expect the place to be fairly quiet with a small crowd of locals.
