Cracking pub and the new lunch menu is truly amazing and so well priced. I had sausage x 3 from local butcher mash and onion gravy. Only £7. The chef Ian knows his stuff. 10/10 for taste and price

Amazing spot. Really reasonably priced. Every thing on the menu slapped. Food service was top tier. You have to try their fried chicken plate. Best fried chicken ive ever eaten. Definitely recommend

Best pub in Redhill with excellent New Landlord.

New landlord Dave has made the world of difference, now has reliably good beers, food cooked by Kevin ,ex Joshua Tree, on wednesdays and every second Sunday. Bands on certain Saturday nights.Am now a regular here.

Friendly staff, excellent Harvey's beers.

Staff were wonderful, they look after you very well, you can have a laugh and joke with them, food was amazing and delicious, cosy place for a beer and a chat 👍🏻

Becoming a good pub once again. Seems to started serving Harvey's seasonal beers again. But the vast Kitchen is still not operating. This pub used to the best place for food for miles years ago.

Full of loud mouthed drunks dark and dingy. You need to get rid of these people or the Garlend will be come another sad pub closure

We came into this pub today to get a lemonade whilst I wait for my MOT… Well that was the idea. As soon as we got in this pub the atmosphere was cold, the bloke serving took one bad look at us turned his back (even after we smiled hello). The first thing he said to us was the fact he wanted ID or we get nothing. I replied with asking for just two soft drinks and he told us no. Avoid this place at all costs as it’s very hostile, inhospitable and awkward.

I have been in the Garland pub a few times lately and had a nice experience, lovely friendly staff good clean pub, good choice of beers. However last night I popped in to watch football with my partner, most of the beers were not available, very short on spirits, lady behind bar did her best to serve what they had and be as polite and friendly as she normally is. My girlfriend went to the ladies and it was filthy, a dirty sanitary towel still on the floor from last week, toilet she said she did not want to sit on as so dirty. I went to the gents and the same the smell was awful and there was pubic hair and urine stains everywhere. There was a man at the end of the bar which I assume was landlord looking a little worse for wear, then another man appeared and was swearing and ranting about something, bar staff looked awkward. Be fair to say we will not be returning, such a shame as it was a good place to go for a friendly drink with good atmosphere, that all seems to have gone

The Garland is great for watching sports (x2 TVs), playing darts and bar billiards. Outdoor seating with heaters. Reasonably priced beer. Fantastic bar staff highly recommended pub. Summer garden.

A proper pub! Decent selection of beers and friendly and polite bar staff.

Lovely property pub. Clean and tidy. Lots of selection of drinks, but I really really do recommend the Guinness. Best I have had in ages, but as the Landlord said " if a bloke from Dublin can't pull a decent pint of Guinness who can." Do yourself a favour and visit this pub. Have a game of bar billiards.

I’m not local but decided to try the Garland tonight when visiting my sister in Redhill as a change from the usual Wetherspoons. As a fan of Harvey’s beer it was a total delight. Lovely helpful and welcoming staff. Well kept beer and a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. No food but they were fine with food being ordered in while kitchen was closed. Highly recommend a visit as I will be back for sure next time I’m in Redhill.

Good live music and ciders, what's not to love

Nice pub, friendly service, good selection of beers and ales. Quite a relaxed pub and close to town. Also good for playing darts.

Went here for a quiet pint with my brother & played darts to then we got verbally harassed & threatened by this drunk guy if we didn’t let him play! He was abusive to us & threatened to kill us which when I told the old guy working the bar he shrugged!!! We decided to leave & he started to follow us out which then one of the what seemed regular drinkers pulled him back in & told him off!!! Seems he’s a regular to Would not recommend this pub at all!

One day there was a pleasant young bar maid and the following day two old men . Like me .

Good traditional pub. Went there for a catch-up with friends. There was music playing/jukebox but not too loud. Harves Sussex was very good

Friendly staff, decent pint and sports on TV. Has a decent back garden and a front garden on the roadside for people watching.

Not a patch on how is used to be. No longer the go to pub in Redhill. Can not rely on getting a great pint of ale

Real ale in a real Surrey pub, I. E. Everybody ignores you and no 'mood music'.

We really enjoyed it. The onsite historian was amazing with my 7 year old. Even the cafe was reasonable

Down to earth pub with decent beer and friendly locals. Nothing fancy, just a classical pub. Shows sports (not huge screens that I saw) and happy to accept dogs.

Proper old fashioned pub environment. Well kept Harvey's hand drawn beer. Particularly enjoyed the 7.5% Christmas ale they had on when I visited recently. Only criticism is the hand dryer in toliet wasn't working

Oh dear, what has happened to the Garland? This Harvey's pub was the go-to beer palace in Redhill, whilst the beer is still ok, the pub has become a typical sports bar, with TVs, loud music and no food offering.

Extremely friendly staff . Good range of drinks . Parking is limited but close to the train station.

My kind of boozer. Walked in and whilst it was quiet I got none of the "we don't like strangers her e" vibe that you sometimes get from these kinds of places. A good pint of Harvey's and a game of bar billiards made for a prefect visit. I wouldn't go expecting gourmet meals with a large wine list, but if you want a decent pub then this is a good choice. Sadly a great example of a dying breed of pub.

Down to earth traditional town pub. We went to see live music (which was very good), and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The barman was serious about the beer, which was also very good. We parked up the road in a small retail park, but there are spaces nearby.

Barman maybe landĺord had a terrible personal hygiene issue and a bad manner. To be honest it's not a place I'd normally go but I was waiting for some take away food. American werewolf in Redhill sprang to mind.....id rather drink in merstham

Best beers in Redhill I think. It doesn't have loud music, and it doesn't have big soft sofas to sit in, but always has a great choice of well kept beers. Think it might be a CAMRA recommended pub?

Love this Pub & having been a regular here for many years. This is what a pub should be... Friendly service, ambient atmosphere & above all... An ambundence of REAL Ale!!!!! This pub is a pillar of a the community where people can socialise & enjoy themselves!

The food that I had was really good. There was a good selection of drinks. I liked it so much I went back a second time and there was a live band on that where superb. Would highly recommend going there.

The Garland is a pub for people who enjoy talking, socialising, and fantastic beer. The best beer (tied Harveys pub) for miles around. You have to go to the pub attached to the brewery in Lewes to get as good a pint.

I started going here after work (I've just moved here), it's friendly and the atmosphere is incredible! Really lovely people and great booze ;)
