We have ordered from here quite a few times only on takeaway. We have had occurring reocurring cons and general pros. Cons: •Several times I have ordered, the poppadums are stale •The mint sauce is way too watered down and runny, we have tasted chlorine in the sauce meaning they use tap water to run it down, mint sauce shouldn’t be this watery. •The Mango Chutney isn’t mango chutney, we taste pineapple, vinegar, mango pulp and salt, doesn’t taste like mango chutney at all and is inedible, nor is actual mango used. Gross! Pros: •the curries are generally fine, not high quality, generally normal for a curry place like this. Some of the recipes vary each time we have ordered, maybe they have a change of chefs? Because the curries aren’t always the same consistency, taste or texture. Generally they’re okay. A lot better than the last place we ordered, but best in the area for curries. 3/5.

Always order from here but yesterday it was swimming in oil. Ate it but was disappointed 24/8/2024

Food was of poor quality. Owner spoke down to me and told me that I should know my place. Very rude.

We went in ordered and waited for takeaway, I ordered a lamb tikka madras and my son a chicken korma…. Unfortunately after giving this place a go again after previously having hard tough chicken and lamb we received exactly that. It’s such a shame that the attention to detail in the main ingredient in each dish is lacking, the meat must be pre cooked and re heated in the sauces. Such a shame as a quality Indian Restaurant in this area would undoubtedly do so well. If the management were to read this please taste your food and be honest with yourself and take notice as you can surely do better.

Really impressed. All of the dishes were tasty and piping hot. The poppadoms came with lots of the dips, I tried dishes I've never had before and they were very tasty. The waiters were very chatty but not overbearing and gave recommendations based on the meal we ordered. Unfortunately I was only visiting the area and can't go more often. Highly recommended.

. We had boooked for 6.45 on Saturday. The decor was lovely. We ordered poppadoms and before we had even started to eat, the waiter came to say the main course was ready. We asked for time to eat the poppadoms. They kept coming over. We asked for a bit more time. When we did get our main course the vegetarian dish consisted of a lot of almost raw onion. The waiters continued to hover and took away plates before all our party had finished eating. We felt like they wanted our table and made what was supposed to be a relaxing sociable evening very uncomfortable and stressful. We had to apologise to our guest and will never be returning to this restaurant. Very disappointed.

Mo has turned this restaurant around. We order every Friday. Last night 6 friends came back to ours after the races as no trains due to rail strike. We ordered an absolute Banquet from The New Khyber and everything was delicious. Our friends raved about the quality of the food. Well done guys

Great food and service at very reasonable prices

Food was delicious and excellent service, with great ambience, enjoyed mains and dessert with the family, it really was a great experience. Lamb Naga was the best, great for those who enjoy spice, cooled down after with a traditional pistachio icecream dessert. Will be back soon for sure.

I never usually write reviews but since this place was absolutely amazing, I simply had to. Very friendly and accommodating staff who even made a dish for me that was not on the menu (paneer korma). The food was absolutely delicious - we will definitely order here again!!!

Burnt naan, cold food, watery sauces, missing items, told me they’d send someone out and never did! Awful!

What a lovely evening shared with my partner, service outstanding, friendly staff, excellent food. Owner is just the nicest person, nothing too much trouble, my go to restaurant now. Finished with the best tasting coffee. Quality food, nicely presented, good portions and nice and modern inside.

I rate this as one of the best curry restaurant in Surrey. Food first class and service without fault. Price reasonable. My wife and I will be making a booking to take our family there very soon.

Have had deliveries several time which have always been very tasty so decided to try an eat-in and weren't disappointed. Friendly welcome, nice ambiance, good service and most importantly excellent food. Recommended.

Great food and service, best curry restaurant around here.

New resident to Kingswood and had heard good things. Takeaway order was 20 minutes late and subsequently tepid. The food was okay but could have been so much better. Biriyani lacked chicken, the chicken saag that I requested extra chillies for was ignored and very bland. I will try it again as it was reasonably priced but I will order in person to ensure the food is hot. Underwhelming at best I'm afraid..

Best place to dine out food is good, the staff in the front are exceptionally good however best place around mo the owner is so nice makes eating there worth while one of the best best indian around if you an Indian it's the best around try it o once like I did am hooked ask for rash or mo ...

Ordered from here many times. The food is always good and the team are very friendly. I always order online and collect as takeaway. Never dinned in. A solid 4 stars. Will be back.

Slevin family. Just took delivery of a takeaway from this restaurant. What can I say, but, I cannot fault. Delivery time said 1 hour+. It took 35 mins. Amazing. The cost, well worth every penny. Huge portions, quality of food very, very good. With a full tum I can say for certainty that I will be using there services again whether it'll be delivery or eating at this restaurant, VERY GOOD.

Three items missing from the order. One item is understandable but three. By the time they sent the missing items the rest was cold. First time ordering and last!

Had a takeaway and was terribly disappointed. Watery, tasteless food, stale chewy poppadoms and a peshwari naan that had virtually no filling. Most of the food went to waste. Won't be using them again I'm afraid.

The food we ordered as a takeaway was not of a good standard and if I had spent more time looking at reviews I wouldn’t have placed an order. It echoes the same as others as the dishes were watery. I also had missing items. I won’t be returning. It is a shame as due to its location it has so much potential.

Right review time. Pre order curry for a 18.30 delivery. Came ten minutes late. When bag arrived with food there seemed to be a lot of oil everywhere. Both chicken dishes where very oilly and chicken was dry. Even side dish was oilly. Not much flavour to both dishes. Otherwise was it was not that expensive. But not ordering from again.

Best indian we have ever had! (And we eat a lot of takeaways) Their begum bahar is beyond tasty! I would really recommend this place. Has delivered food always on time (if not early). I seriously cannot think of anything negative. So tasty and full of flavour. Every dish feels uniquely made.

Delivery tonight and the butter chicken was simply lovely. Melted in the mouth. Delivered by Mo who was helpful and friendly.

I order via just eat at 7.15pm the order delivery time was 8.15p.. I recieved a message at 8.14pm to say it was on it's way. It did to arrive until 10.40pm. I did not recieve an update of the change to time until 10.30pm otherwise I would have cancelled the order. I refused delivery as it was not only over 2hrs.30 mins late but it was cold. Just eat was not helpful. I called the restaurant over 30 times and no one would answer the phone. Totally incompetent and unprofessional. The driver then moaned that we were 8 miles away. Why would you recieve orders if the distance was unacceptable. It was not my problem. I am appalled by this restaurants behaviour. They excepted the order £16.80p but did not deliver the order in the time stated and In an unsatisfactory quality. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. THEY MISLEAD THE CONSUMER. BREAK OF TRADING STANDARDS

A brilliant curry! Food is always delivered hot and full of flavour. We have ordered a handful of takeaways from here recently and won't be looking anywhere else in the future. Mo, the owner adds a personal touch too. A must visit.

Great restaurant well worth a visit very friendly staff great advice on new dishes

King prawn biriyani only had 2 prawns cut up which is expensive for £13+ and the taste was bland. Garlic naan wasnt that garlicky. A little on the greasy side but chicken curry was good. Delivery was a little later than expected.

Second time we have ordered from here, beautiful non greasy food and customer service is spot on.. the only tiny complaint I have is the mint sauce I think should be in the same tubs as the onion and lime pickle as they are a little small. But other than that.. perfect. I will be definitely ordering from here again.

Really funky experience. Read some of the positive reviews and decided to go for a dinner date - mught be my mistake in research. From the photos and inside the place looks like a very classy restaurant, however from outside it looks like a northern chippy shop. Not taking anything away from it the food was really tasty and a lot of people came in to take their takeaways - however we were the only people actually sitting inside which was quite weird and took away from the final experience. Great food, pleasant service but awkward atmosphere - if you're ordering takeaway I definitely recommended it, but if you're looking for a place to dine, maybe spend 5 minutes more researching the area.

I come here when visiting my brother and sister-in-law. Food is good quality though not as spicy as I'd like.
