Lovely little pub and a lush atmosphere coasy realy homely great all round

Not been in for a while and sat outside with our dogs, the owners are really making a effort outside and i hope it pays off when the weather improves. We will go back now

Great function rooms. Helpful friendly staff. Good selection of drinks at resenable prices. And good food.

Saturday night 9-30pm approx when we walked in just 4 people at one table. Dark inside older style pub but I thought it was ok. Has beer garden but didn't go outside. It stands on its own and is popular with ramblers etc. Landlady was sat in bar with customer/ friend socialising she spoilt it for me she was rather loud especially shouting across the pub telling her bar staff off. The bar person was lovely young woman.

Lovely little pub with a great beer garden... Lots of different types of seating and a kids play area, looks very inviting and prices are good. Although not very kid friendly unless you have children who sit next to you and don't move.

Good pub lovely beer garden, but no food , I think they are missing a trick

The worst pub in Heywood. Whilst enquiring about the bottled beer choice I was asked, very aggressively, “who are you, I don’t even know you”. Obviously customer service has been lost on this woman. It is apparent why the Gardner’s Arms as gone from bad to worse. If you’re visiting Heywood, go anywhere but here.

Dog freindly local pub,good food.

Not been in for a long time and was plesently surprised with how nice the pub was. It has a warm cozy feeling, like pubs used to have. There is a massive beer garden at the back, which would fantastic in the summer time. We'll worth a visit.

Good little pub but could do with a re decoration

Extremely friendly atmosphere, Libby is a most thoughtful and considerate host whenever we visit and the meals are enjoyable and good value.

Gin n tonic cost serious cash, are u mad, reason why? Cos it's a pub 🤷‍♂️no wonder pubs are closing all over the country with them prices 😂

We dropped in for a quick drink at the end of the night and found the bar staff very friendly and informative. Really enjoyed this friendly local and will certainly go back next time I'm in the area.

No food , slim beer choice , full of men. Not a family pub , its a local for manual labourers
