Nice cinema just overpriced as most are

The staff are friendly and the seats are comfy. There is a Costa inside. Some of ceiling panels in screen 5 are missing and the walls are in a state. Dust on the speakers. Toilet cubicle door had no lock on it and the hand dryer smelt like an electrical burning smell. It needs investment.

my order was missing 2 large boxes of nachos which cost £20 and the bag wasn't fully sealed

Seeing a film here is fine. Audio and visual is fine. Hospitality wise its not as the cinema is long due a refurbishment. Seats are not reclining compared to most odeons now. Foyer was busy and getting cleaned when i visted. Toilets were digusting. Prices for this cinema should be cheaper. I Would only visit if its for ease i.e. if its the closest.

Not a very nice place,staff were VERY ,VERY RUDE. The prices are ridiculous and the seats were uncomfortable. All in all it was not a nice experience,thank god the new cinema is open .

Cinema is in a poor state,dirty toilets,no hand wash, if you only want to watch a movie and are not bothered about the rest of the things then you might like to go there, but for me it is my first and last visit.

The auditorium was cold, the seats were uncomfortable, the foyer was grotty. People were talking through the film. There were severely disabled people who were constantly shouting, making it difficult to hear the film. Some people left as a result. It may seem heartless to comment on that but I feel they should have their own film showing, cinema tickets are expensive for a family and it is money wasted if the film is ruined No staff were keeping an eye on anything. We won't be returning to this cinema.

They are like child seats, so small and uncomfortable. Every seat is so dirty, nobody clean them. They just don't bother. Booking online it's a nightmare.

Lots of screens, easy parking, friendly staff. Foods ridiculously expensive, but that's probably true of all cinemas. Give them a visit - cinemas need our custom more than ever these days.

An absolute disgrace of a cinema with the worst staff I've ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. A particular member of staff was so unpleasant I'm seriously considering cancelling my limitless membership. Stay away at all costs!

Small group of pre-teens making lots of noise and constantly using phones. However, the staff did come in and rekove them. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable for the length of the movie.

A nice experience, although I fear for the future of cinemas! We went to watch a 3pm sitting of the new ghostbusters film (great film by the way) and there was probably only about 15 people watching it. Food/snacks/drinks are pricey, but it's part of it I guess. Booked online and got charged a £3 booking fee, no idea what that's for, just another way of taxing you I guess!? Spent about £45 for me and my 2 children in total for about 2 hours of entertainment.

In a very small screen to watch a film that is relatively new to the cinema, there were only us there as we prefer it quieter, it was absolutely freezing in there, I spoke to the staff about it and she said it was because there wasn’t much body heat in there, we will be going to Reel from here onwards.

Local to me, I booked the wrong ticket for the wrong day and they sorted it for me straight away, great film, thanks guys

Feels like being left to go to ruins.

I took my mum to the movies , this was the first time mum had been to the pictures in years she walks with a walking frame and the staff were lovely and friendly and really made my mum feel at ease.

The building is really starting to show its age.

My 3 star rating was only because the seats are like sitting in a kiddies car seat. Luckily no one was sat with a drink next to me. That's the only fault I had. Everything else was great.

Only 2 hours parking let's it down

Visited the rochdale many a time and the service as always was brilliant, especially Salma (the Asian lady with the pink hair) she was lovely and very helpful again with the computer check in.

Visited this cinema for the first time in a long time. We ended up in a relatively small screen for a movie that's not long been out, and were the only guests there. It was like a private screening! It was a good movie and enjoyable time. Loved it when the staff said "enjoy the movie" as we went in, even the person not checking our ticket said the same thing when looking for the auditorium.

Good price for tickets but two weeks running now it's too cold. Had to wear coats throughout and this week brought a blanket. Might as well be outside

Very quiet but lovely helpful staff and only three people watching the film.

Went here to watch a film with my daughter snd her friends. Hoping for a nice relaxed 2 hours or so anyways that didnt happen there was 3 lots of groups of (tennagers) who was constantly on there phone talking loudly and even throwing popcorn and sweets at people in front of them when asked to stop by another person in the screening that didnt even acknowledge them and just carried on. What happened to where there use to be a member of staff in the screening to make sure everyone was behaving the way they should be. When I told a member of staff I was told there was nothing they could do because they was paying customers. Seriously after all the money spent in the cinema and we couldn't even enjoy our film.

Great value tickets, screen quality and sound is excellent, but all public areas looked and felt run down. Queueing system for food and drink is disorganised even when only slightly busy.

Had an evening out at the cinema. A big thank you to Salma for helping to sort our tickets out. Very friendly and helpful.

Love the Ben & Jerry's Icecream and Milkshakes, the Costa isn't too great. Cinema was empty when we visited which was nice. The building inside is showing signs of poor maintenance (e.g. holes in ceiling, toilet lights hanging off ceiling etc. Bur film was good, staff was helpful and we had a good time.

It's not a bad cinema, seats are comfortable, enough screens to get to see a fair range of films at most times, there are also a few places to eat on Sandbrook Park too and parking is free.

Why buy the tickets for kids, and they didn't let kids in for a family movie

I hate this place absolute disgusting people, i said my birthday and they didn’t even let my sister finish and said we can’t watch. WHAT 15 year old carry’s around id??? disgraceful and horrible service. The workers were judging us on how we look.

Even though like all cinema’s the food and drink is expensive, I still really like this cinema as a hole it’s well looked after and quite clean and the chairs are pretty comfortable not view cinema comfortable but comfy enough and I’ve never had an issue with the toilets there well spaced and and have more then enough stalls for everyone

Not been to cinema for few years enjoyed my visit staff were very helpful nice clean place only thing I noticed ,there's a hell of a lot of unaccompanied children (not teenagers) some as young as 10yrs old seems they been dropped off by Thier parents and obviously running amok and it was night time too 😲🤦🏼‍♀️

We love getting this for movie night but today was disappointing no nachos send just the sauce missing a bottle of drink and a pack of oreos

The driver followed my instructions and we had a perfect handover. The food….😑…someone was clearly having a laugh tonight.

Awful experience thanks to salma and linda, they were horrible, messed up food order, delayed so much that we missed the start of the film, I said this to linda, she replied its not a big deal, just 2 mins, due to this I was unable to understand the story of the movie

Went here yesterday with my mum to see the film Sound of Freedom which was extremely thought provoking. Would highly recommend as many people as possible go to see this 👍 I just wanted to give a Big shout out for Linda Harrison the Manager there and a Big thankyou 😊 Who went above and beyond to make mine and my mum's visit so enjoyable 😊 My mum is Disabled and her mobility is extremely poor, she is also visually impaired. Linda was extremely informative and went out of her way to assist us, even staying with my mum while I went to get the car. I can't thank her enough. Looking forward to our next visit.

Absolutely angin experience screen 4 was Absolutely freezing and I had to keep getting up and leaving the room to complain about the air con and nothing was done through a 3 hour film. Screen was blur the entire film. Overall the worst cinema ever. I never moan but that was bad that. Way too cold

Came here for the first time a few weeks back to watch the new Insidious The Red Door. Me and the fiance wanted to try something new for date night the ODEON app is great to sign up for as you get deal on cheaper tickets and meal deals. From experience of cinemas growing up I was really put on buying tickets and snacks for the price but now it seems to be much cheaper so I am willing to pay for snacks. The place is very modern and clean through out, seats are spacious thought in my opinion not comfy but then I am used to being in the comfort of my own frontroom. So can't mark it down beause of that overall I liked it and would go again soon.

Recently went there to watch Elemental with my family. It was a great experience overall. I especially want to appreciate one of their staff members Salma who guided us in booking the tickets online, she had been extremely helpful and attentive, and made sure everything was in order for us until the very end.

Greeted by a lovely, smiley girl who scanned our QR code and then that's where the experience went downhill. Placed an order on the touch screen for 2 drinks and 1 medium popcorn it took 18 minutes to receive our order. Total chaos, no system, no efficiency, just slow and unapologetic staff. Toilets on our way out were shabby, no soap, broken taps and really messy. Will steer clear in future, lots of better cinemas around.

Toilets filthy, chairs uncomfortable, 3 tables to sit on looks very unpleasant, definitely won't come back to this cinema.

The floor was sticky and the bright exit lights lit up randomly during the movie.

Just been to watch the latest Mission Impossible film at this cinema. The film was terrible but the polite professional service from the Costa coffee employee warrented a 5 star rating . Well done young man if only all customer service staff had your good manners (hes the quietly spoken one)

Terrible experience this evening with Salma. This was the first time I visited after the last rude outburst by this woman. She was very rude and flippant when she asked for my daughter's ID. At one point, she waved her mobile in my face and sarcastically said, 'have you got one of these...everyone has one thesedays and you can easily take a pic of your ID and store it'. She spoke to us in an extremely rude and condescending manner, making us feel like criminals, even though we had just bought our tickets and snacks. I understand that she was doing her job by requesting ID, but it was her unacceptable attitude and the fact that she caused such a commotion, which made us feel so embarrassed and distressed. She made us get a refund and told us very loudly not to return without ID! I was very shaken and taken aback at her attitude and returned to Odeon Rochdale that same evening to get her name. Staff members behind the till were very understanding and apologetic and insisted on calling the manager to speak to us. He apologised profusely (even though he wasn't at fault) and he also offered to refund our snacks as a gesture of goodwill. This Salma should not be in ANY customer-facing role. She does not speak in an appropriate tone of voice and clearly enjoys embarrassing customers by trying to exert power via her job (scanning tickets). What a thoroughly unpleasant woman!

Good all round but cheep seats are uncomfortable for a long film

Great film, poor cinema, booked tickets online as knew you couldn't just go and speak to someone at a counter anymore, on arrival totally ignored by the chap who was supposed to be scanning people in, only to be called back obnoxious lady shouting did you scan in so went back to the chap who initially ignored us. Then joined queue for food and drinks, about a minute later get interrupted by same obnoxious lady asking if we were paying card or cash, told her card to be told you'll have to use the machines as only one till was open and it would be quicker, so went to machine, they are useless unless you want a deal they have predetermined for you and infact took us about 5 minutes longer to go backwards and forwards through the menus to find the selections we wanted, then had to rejoin a different queue to collect, wouldn't it be simpler or even possible to leave us queueing where we were my partner is clearly visibly disabled and being ordered backwards and forwards by some obnoxious lady a fraction of our age and receiving no help or assistance is disgusting. Our last visit.

Excellent cinema with excellent range for latest films tickets @£5 with the odeon app. The housekeeping and staff is always on top form.

Very good, The young guy who scanned the tickets was very polite smiley. Counter staff where you pick your order up did a good job but unfortunately customer service element let the experience down a little, just felt there was no connection or willingness to be valued as a customer. When i say to staff "thank you very much", i kinda expect some response... but nothing. Apart from that everything was good, will be back at some point.

Really good went to watch spider man across the spider verse the movie was very good but on my way there I saw a bag full of popcorn and popcorn buckets and drinks please throw in bin next time the inside was very clean sadly they did not have any spider man across the spider verse posters but I didn't care I loved the movie I recommend this place

Great and very helpful staff at Rochdale ODEON. I made a mistake booking my tickets online, but when I got to the cinema, the staff couldn’t have helped me more! Changed the tickets to the correct ones for me! The money that I thought I’d lost by ordering the wrong tickets, I was then able to spend on hotdogs and popcorn!! A very happy customer !!

I went and watched guardians of the galaxy and it was great. The premium seats was great and extremely comfortable. I enjoyed my time at odeon and had zero issues.

The seats are uncomfortable. The movie started 30 mins after the time shown on the Web site

Went to watch guardians 3 today on screen three and the screen is damaged, white lines all over it and ruined my viewing. Cinema is major need of a refurb

I love it, it's cheap don't expect perfection maybe wipe your feet on the way out and bring your own food but fiver a ticket
