Just had to write another review for this delightful place! No Christmas cakes this year understandably but millionaires shortbread as delicious as always. Bought yet another small water colour, haven’t quite got them all yet!

Just ideal after a good walk refreshing hot drink and cake (cake tasting excellent). Sat in a most relaxing, colourful garden. A must when in the area.

What an asset to a village that had no amenities when I used to stay here! Pretty garden, charming shop and good food and drink, served by the very pleasant owner. Some reviews say it should offer a wider range of food but we think it is perfect as it is.

Walked past and went into the beautiful Garden and sat outside and had a cup of tea/coffee and cake. Purchased some vintage butter knives from the vintage sitting room as well. Lovely garden and dog friendly

Amazing tea room with fantastic antiques. Cakes were delicious and the staff member was friendly. Gorgeous gardens and outlook from the outdoor seating area. A real gem.

This is a lovely place for tea or coffee with delicious home made cakes. Behind a shop selling vintage collectables the tables are set out in a pretty cottage garden. Only a few tables so you might have to wait at busy times.

A charming little place in a beautiful village right on the coast. We enjoyed coffee and delicious home made cakes in the pretty and secluded garden of this Rockcliffe cottage that is carefully run by the lovely owner. A nice collection of sweet treats to enjoy in a peaceful and classic cottage garden setting. Tables and seating outside on the lawn and terrace. Takeaway also available. Also features a vintage and antique shop. Would recommend the Apple and walnut cake (with fresh apple pieces) and the light and moist carrot cake.

We were recommended to visit this cafe by a local. We had coffee and delicious pieces of cake in the beautiful flower filled garden. It helped that it was a gloriously sunny day. This appeared to be an 'outside only' cafe, as there was a little shop there.

First ever visit on a Sunday. Three course lunch for £15, two for £12 and just the main for £8.95. Good food and comes with a hot or cold drink (cannot say cold as fruit juice had not been chilled). Will be back.

The best restaurant in Dumfries. The steak and seafood starters were exquisite, faultless.

We popped in here for some breakfast before heading home. The staff were lovely and the menu had a good variety to choose from. The food was very tasty and portions were very generous at very reasonably prices compared to other places around, we definitely will pop in again when we're back in the area!
