Went on Wednesday evening with a group of 6. We had the set menu and there was sooooo much food. It was all amazing between us we pretty much tried very thing on the menu and the customer service was exceptional. Wish I loved a little closer so I could go move often

Me and my boyfriend went here for our anniversary, and had the best time possible. We were served by Lebron who was a trainee waiter, he was absolutely lovely and gave us the best service. Will definitely be visiting here again :)

Brilliant afternoon with friends

Cozy atmosphere. Staff is amazing makes feel like home. Food is really delicious and the best Martini in the city. Definitely coming back to try desserts.

Interesting and well considered dishes, all cooked well. The cod, corn ribs and muhammara were particularly good. The first floor has a more lively vibe than downstairs, and seemed to attract people getting ready for a night out. Great for a weekend evening. Service was mixed - lots of requests to clear our plates despite us not being finished, but no offer to refill water or offer us more wine. Cocktails were excellent, as was the small bit well considered wine list. Will definitely return

The Frame use to be great, fantastic service, great food with good portions and reasonably priced. This past year it's gone down hill, price increases 25-30%, food portions sizes down considerably, food quality and presentation has declined and service level too. Not a great mother's day lunch for my wife at all.

Took my husband for the first time following a few visits with the girls. He loved it as much as me! Both vegetarian and the choices are great, delicious flavours and a lovely chilled atmosphere. We will definitely be back for another date night.

This Frame is everything you could wish for in a restaurant. The ambience was perfect and very romantic, the service was second to none and the staff are simply wonderful. A special thank you to Sanish for his exceptional customer service. The food was a testiment to the chef and i have not stopped thinking about it. The mozzarella arancini balls were the highlight for us crispy and cheesy and the sauce that accompanied it was mouth watering, the calamari was by far the best i have tasted anywhere. The lamb Kofta was flavorful, and the steak was cooked just right and the batata Hara that accompanied it was just as tasteful. This is truly a hidden gem and I will definitely be returning soon!

One of the best places in Leicester, for food & drinks. Service attentiveness you can’t fault. Dishes tried so far from the menu are bursting with flavour. Highly recommended if you haven’t been yet!

Brilliant Bottomless Brunch - staff and atmosphere were amazing!

I don’t eat meat and the options weren’t that many but some of the plates were very good, the service was a 10/10 and the restaurant is amazing.

Me & my boyfriend love going to the Frame. It’s such an incredible restaurant, beautifully decorated the food is unmatched. The staff are so attentive and want to make your experience the best. For anyone who hasn’t been the frame before, I would highly recommend as it’s my favourite restaurant in the city centre.

Lively, popular and we loved the views.

This was my third time at The Frame and it is now a go-to for me. As someone with Celiac Disease and unable to eat gluten, going out to eat can be very difficult. However, The Frame offers so many gluten-free options (I mean almost the entire menu is GF) and they offer GF bread (which is really good!). The staff also ensure you are safe in terms of cross-contamination without making you feel awkward or singled out in front of your group. The food is always amazing and the staff are super attentive and kind. It can get very busy on Friday/Saturday nights so it can be a little loud if you go during a busy time, but that's a good sign for a restaurant. If you want a quieter experience you may want to try it during the week. Overall love The Frame and will definitely be a repeat customer!

Me and my friend went there for my birthday dinner and the service was amazing! The staff were soo lovely and attentive. We went in without a booking on a busy Saturday night but they still managed to get us a table so quickly which we were so grateful for. The ambiance of the restaurant was so lovely, the lights were dimmed and the decor was absolutely gorgeous and breath taking. Me and my friend ordered starters thinking they were mains until we received the food and realised the portions were smaller than expected haha but I must say the food did not disappoint! Me and my friend are also practicing Muslims so we don’t drink alcohol and the bar catered lovely and refreshing alcohol free drinks and they tasted sooo lovely. To finish off the night my friend surprised me with a cake she ordered for me and once we were ready to be we were told the cake was on the house! Honestly I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Especially for special occasions! They also cater to different dietary requirements and the service was absolute chief kisses! Thank you so much to The frame and the whole team for such a special evening!

Lovely dining experience with impeccable service from our waitress Zara. We had a big table for a birthday and she was very patient and alert when we needed service, as well as keeping an eye out for the birthday cake request. Only downside would be the tough pita bread which seemed to be a common theme on the table. Lovely dining experience

Update January 2024 Revisited with friends and had an excellent meal. You can still either share plates or order starters & mains. I'm pleased to report that the padron peppers were well cooked, and the corn ribs still excellent. We enjoyed all the dishes so it's hard to recommend just one! Good range of wines and cocktails, excellent service. Booking essential. Sleek new opening in St Martin's, which seems to be the place to go at the moment. It's a small but well-formed menu. You can choose to eat tapas style, or you can do a traditional starter/main/dessert style dinner. We chose tapas style, and had plenty of veggie options to choose from. All were well made and finished, with some lovely flavour combinations. The padron peppers could have done with a bit more cooking, which we fed back to the chef. We'd also highly recommend the corn ribs. There's a very interesting cocktail selection. The rose and prosecco combo (can't remember the name) was excellent. It's early days yet, but service was excellent, and it's clearly popular. We'd definitely revisit. Reservations recommended.

We were really looking forward to dining here but unfortunately I think it’s overhyped. Hummus was very nice. But overall the food is expensive for what it is, and pretty small portions especially for the mains which were £16 ish. All the small plates tasted the same (as if universal seasoning is used). Overall experience was underwhelming. Sonrisa round the corner is much better - exceptional service and great food which is worth paying for.

We were a party of 5 and we all enjoyed the excellent food and drinks! The service was amazing and we we very well looked after. It was my first visit and definitely won’t be that last! Would like to see more on the cocktail list as a firm favourite of mine is a Long Island iced tea! Thank you for looking after us so well.

I recently took the team for a meal here and the service was outstanding. Julia was excellent throughout and was always on hand to resolve our issues. In addition my meal was served tepid which l told Julia who immediately apologised and arranged for a new one to be prepared. Also, which was not expected and l requested for it to be added back in, was the item was removed from the bill. The food was good. Not amazing but definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before. The interior is nicely done and a great place to have a meal where you can converse without competing with background noise.

Had a really nice family meal here and would definitely recommend. Food was great, some dishes however did have a large amount of pomegranates which was sometimes over powering. Cocktails were also superb 10/10

Lovely food, lovely staff but terrible service and experience. We were refused entry for over 15 minutes AFTER our table reservation time and made to stand outside in the middle of December, being told it was a fire hazard to let us in. There were a few empty tables inside, and when we were finally allowed in they seated us at a table that had been empty the whole time we were stood outside waiting in the cold. Waitress was very friendly but it took a while to take our drink and food order, and we had to ask 3 different times for some water from 2 different members of staff. The food was actually really nice and I think fairly priced for the quality, despite portions not being huge we were satisfied with what we’d had. Upon paying we put cash on the table and were told they wouldn’t accept it, which was frustrating but not the end of the world. Doubt we’ll go back as I’ve never in my life been made to stand and queue outside a restaurant I’ve booked for, and don’t think the experience is worth it!

Went out with a friend for a dinner. And this place was amazing for a ladies meet up. We were served by a lovely waitress Julia R. She welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel completely relaxed and comfortable. Her knowledge about food was exceptional and her recommendations occurred to be IT. Loved every moment of my visit here. Definitely will come back 😍

Service alone deserves 10 stars in all honesty. Gurdeep, owner and our waiters were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout. This was a special occasion for us, including our very first visit, and the entire experience was amazing. Food - 10/10 - cant be faulted. We tried a varied menu and everything was sensational - personal favourites were the Calamari, on the bone chicken main and the cheesecake dessert. Drinks were so unusual and tasted amazing! The pomegranate cocktail is highly recommended. Service - Speaks for itself! Great staff, amazing customer attentiveness, and highly professional. 100% would visit again just to have try other items on the menu.

Disappointed in the food and service at this place. Was really looking forward to coming here for a special occasion. Firstly called up to book a table to be told they were fully booked. But went on their website and managed to book a table just fine. On arrival lots of empty tables and we were seated at the door where its super cold. Asked to move to be told we can't as we've booked so last minute. We asked another staff member and he gave us three tables to choose from, contradicts the first person who told us no. The whole time we were there we had an empty table of 4 and 2, so didn't see the issue in being moved. The food for mains was served lukewarm and wasn't hot and I think overall its more style over substance. Everything is presented nice and the place inside does look good however the food lacks flavour. If you come here, best to be seated upstairs as downstairs is cold due to the draft of the door being constantly opened. Overall unfortunately a disappointing dining experience.

We went there for dinner! Good food and good service! Tbh I do not like kofta but their kofts was really good! Really good calamari! The cod was well cooked but my only complaint is it did not have salt and the fries did not have salt either. Had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert, the best sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had! The service is really really good too!

12 of us visited, as you expect with different dietary requirements.. Must Say SIM provided exceptional service, the guys a diamond.. hope the restaurant is looking after him. Food we had mixed reviews, but overall Good.

Best meal that I have had in Leicester for ages! Food was original, well presented, tasted delightful and plentiful. Service and atmosphere were superb. My recommendations to all reading this are - Humous, Whipped feta, Chicken wings and the Lamb Shish (Wow! it came cooked medium and was stunning!) I will definitely going again very soon.

We had a delicious meal on Saturday night at the frame. The food was delicious and portions very generous. Julia our server was a breath of fresh air!

We visited on a Tuesday evening, was quiet but was the end of the month so to be expected. Food was very good, humous was nice with a chilli oil, chicken wings could've been crispier and everything was a touch salty. But the oxtail and calamari were excellent. Over all we enjoyed the evening.

Gorgeous resturant, lovely relaxed interior with a beautiful mix of artwork on the wall in a collage. Lovely food, great Muhammara and whipped feta, lovely lamb kofta and chicken shish. Lovely sweet potato and broccoli. The pitta is wood fired and delicious. Will come back many mkre times x

I absolutely love it at The Frame! Amazing service by friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The resident DJ’s ‘Sistern’ are incredible and always bringing the best vibes💅🏼 They play a great mix of different music that suits the atmosphere of The Frame. I can’t wait to go again💕

Best place for food sensitivities in Leicester. I had my birthday meal here and felt very taken care of. I submitted a laundry list of food sensitivities when reserving thinking perhaps it would be too much, but they rang me the on the day of the meal to check the items they wanted to prepare would be suitable. I had my own plate made up from items on the menu but they adjusted them and cooked it in a way I could have it. I honestly cannot fault it. My friends ordered things from the regular menu and also loved the food and we had a great time overall. Will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks to the kitchen and all the staff for making my birthday meal so special!

Some of the dishes ordered was good, chicken Shish was cold and under cooked. Service wasn’t the best. Sat there 20 minutes without someone coming to take my drink order. No one came to check how the food was or if we wanted any more drinks. We wanted to order dessert but was told kitchen closed at 10. It wasn’t even 10 when we did want to order. Could have been nice to just come around as there was only 3 tables. Gave the feedback to Paul the manager, who just kept apologising. Could have been good for him to just check with the kitchen if it was possible rather than sorry, sorry, I apologise.

Had brunch here today with my family for a special occasion. The food was absolutely delicious. We are all vegetarian and there were more than enough options for us and every dish was unique and very tasty. We were presented with the most delectable cheesecake for the birthday girl and the service was fantastic. We felt that the price was reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Visited for a weekday dinner and was not disappointed - we were blown away by how amazing the food was. All the dishes tasted distinctly different and unique and were plated beautifully. The service was great. I would highly recommend this place for a lovely evening or a special occasion.

We enjoyed our first visit here to the Frame situated here in St martins square. The Mediterranean selection of small side plates was absolutely exquisite. We thoroughly enjoyed each item ordered, great combination of flavours! Perfect for brunch/lunch with family or friends when sharing side plates. Will be visiting again!

We had a company night out at The Frame. The place was very nice, spotless, the food served was really good and the cocktails were worth a try. We had a good time and enjoyed the music and the atmosphere.

Walked in and asked for a table and was Rudely told by the manager we are fully booked . And I could see the restaurant was nearly empty. Very disappointed with the customer service the owner needs to train staff better.

My wife and I had a great meal at The Frame this evening. We had a warm welcome from Antonio who couldn’t have been friendlier. He really looked after us and is a credit to the team.

After a hiccup about juices, surprise birthday cake put on the bill... food was good. Portions small, prices high. Atmosphere irreplaceable. Good place to have a little munch, but you will be hungry still, and you will pay dearly for it. Still time spent there was good and special. Portions and prices not matching half way... in any way.

I came across this place by a chance and I’m so pleased I did. A great little place in the centre of Leicester with great food and service and to my surprise all meat is halal. I was so impressed with the quality of the food and the flavours. It was just an amazing experience. The service was also really impressive and professional. UNREAL. The Muhammara and whipped feta is ridiculous. We had lunch meze, small plate and side each and shared (£31.00 total for the meal) - the chips are crazy good and service is impeccable Our new favourite date night in Leicester.

The restaurant is brilliant. The only thing that irks me is, they don't do physical gift cards. I wanted to spend £50 today on a gift card as a present. I don't want to go on a Web page and print one off. No printer. So not possible.

I came here with my husband and baby for a late fathers day lunch. It was our first time here and we absolutely loved it. We are vegetarians and there were plenty of options for us. We ordered about 6 dishes and every single one of them tasted amazing. The presentation of the dishes were great too. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the ambiance. We will definitely be returning!

Welcomed and looked after. The honeyed feta was excellent, as was the spiced cod. Could do with getting some/a brandy glass!

Couldn’t get us out quick enough! Rude and unprofessional manager. Attended for a bridal brunch for what should have been a lovely and relaxed time. Our friends who were organising the hen were messed around multiple times whilst trying to make the booking via email. Two days before, when ringing to check everything was in place, they were told the booking was not on the system!? They were so un-accommodating and made the process so difficult and stressful. When we arrived on the day, they served our starters and then immediately started bringing out the mains before we even had time to get halfway through dessert! They didn’t even let us cut a cake we brought for the bride because they wanted us gone bang on time (the place was empty) and the manager, Chris, couldn’t push us out the door quick enough! Never going back, don’t give them your hard earned money.

Would not recommend this restaurant. We had already reserved a table and did not go over out booking time. The waiter reminded us 3 times! He even said there was not enough time for desert. When it came to paying they would not accept cash as they had been robbed. The waiter even asked if I am good at washing up and I replied no! Very rude and was not a pleasant experience.

I would, without hesitation, recommend the Frame. The dreamy lighting and décor as well as selection of music offered the perfect setting. In addition the food and drink is delicious. The wine we ordered was award winning and the menu offered an exciting mix of veg and meat dishes. Customer service was exquisite, even had the bartender personally put rose petals in my drink (it was Valentine’s Day after all!). Food was amazing, (lots of flavour) the delivery of the food was perfect, didn’t have to wait long for the next course. Waiters and waitresses were very friendly and kind. Great experience, great price would most certainly recommend!

I very nice place to eat. The food was very good, especially the starters and mezze plates. I especially liked the peppers and the lamb I had. The service was excellent even though it was absolutely full. The only slight negative was the desert, the sticky date pudding which was underwhelming. But would definitely recommend.
