I had the best chicken shawarma in town at Falafel and Shawarma Land! Every bite was packed with flavor, and the other dishes I tried were equally delicious. The fact that they offer a small prayer area on the first floor is a thoughtful touch for Muslim customers. Great food and a welcoming atmosphere – highly recommend!

Excellent baklava - as a slice of a large pie. Not the usual sweet baklava, although this was delicately sweet. Delicious, warmed, a good filling of some kind of mild curd filling. Coffee was perfect too. Beautiful flavours in this baklava - not just sweet, but honey, pistachio, curd, rosewater maybe, sweet spices maybe, I really liked it, including the very fine and barely there flaky pastry. They have the more usual very sweet baklava there too - but I'm glad I chose this slice of pie. Excellent value.

Today we went to this place as a family for lunch, it was our first time and will be the last time as well. The service we received was extremely terrible I nearly I had a physical fight with the person at the front who made us nasty Falafels and it was not just about the food he was very disrespectful and uneducated man rude. I asked him nicely we want our Falafels without any sauce in it instead we’ll have the sauce separately please . He said ”NO PROBLEM” in a loud voice he just was so rude and he’s got attitude problem at that point I realized that this guy must have brought to work by force. Subsequently he made the falafels and I asked him could I have the sauce please? He replied this “if you want sauce £1 per tub of sauce” I said to him I asked you at the start we want our Falafels without sauce we want it separately and you agreed to it. Sadly he denied that he ever said that! Lol, Anyhow he ruined our day and I really hope his Boss read this comment and teach him some manners. In case the owner of the business doesn’t know which staff I am taking about( the person with blue eyes at the front section) you should kick him out of the business it’s good for your own benefit he doesn’t care if you lose customers or not. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Passed by this place hundreds of times. Had it for the first time today and couldn't believe what I was missing. The chicken salad box is highly recommended, more than half of it is charred chicken, a variety of vegetables, and a fresh spicy dressing. It's only £6 and supports credit cards. Didn't get to eat it until just before I left the place, sadly.

Very rude and poor customer service from the old guy who make shawarma. I asked for an extra tissue paper after the first one was fully spoiled with the leaked shawarma gravy. The old guy shouted at me and told me he could give only one tissue for one shawarma. Then when I insisted that old guy, he told me to wipe on my own shirt or take a bath. What kind of mannerless person would talk to there customer like that. He is showing his culture and character through this incident. He is a disgrace to others who working there. Never ever going to come back to that place again!!! Horrible person!!! Worst experience I have ever encountered in LEICESTER.

Recently visited Falafel Land in Leicester City Center and tried their chicken shawarma, grilled chicken, and marakesh with zaatar. Overall, it was a delightful experience. The chicken shawarma was flavorful, though it could have been juicier. The grilled chicken had a nice smoky flavor but similarly could benefit from being a bit more tender. The marakesh with zaatar was a standout, with the zaatar adding a pleasant, aromatic touch. I was particularly impressed with the toum; it was perfectly balanced and complemented the dishes well. The fresh kubuz provided was another highlight, soft and warm, enhancing the overall meal. For a total cost of about £16, the meal was reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes. I would give Falafel Land 4 stars and look forward to visiting again to try more of their offerings.

Look - I am a falafel wrap fiend. Every time I see a falafel stand I have to try it, but Falafel Land in Leicester is hands down the best one I've ever been to. Doesn't compare to any falafel I've tried in London, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, or Bradford. Every time I'm in Leicester I make a point to visit and grab a wrap. Ridiculously good value for money as well. Falafel Land, I hope you never ever go out of business. You are the greatest

It is the worst place you can go and taste sweets there. It has the name Baba Kunafa and does not serve kunafa. I bought harissa. The price was very low and the taste was like anything except harissa. I took the two types available and the right one did not resemble harissa. It was very old and as if it had been prepared weeks ago and it had hardened and was no longer the same. He should I do not advise anyone to try it compared to shops selling Arabic sweets. The price was five pounds more than the rest of the shops and the taste was not up to 5% of other places.

Visited the area and we were looking for something to eat. As we usually try to avoid big chains this was one of the few options available but we love lebanese, Persian and Moroccan food so we didn't mind. Deco is simple but nice. Food was amazing 4 starters and 3 mains shared between us were excellent (not the samosa like dish. The filling was very bland) The chicken was one of the best and most tender chicken we ever ate. The Only downside was the service. Very slow and not attentive. Bare in mind there was only 2 tables in, yet we had to catch the staff attention several times. It could have been a 5 star 🌟.

Really rubbish service from the restaurant, staff very negligent. No one came to bring us a menu or to collect our orders. When we collected our own menus we were told someone would come to take our orders but no one came even after 10/15 minutes, had to go to counter ourselves. Saw staff collecting orders from other tables though so we were ignored for some reason. We asked for some water and were told it would be brought to the table, no water came. Eventually realised water was self serve at the counter however if this is the case why not just tell us it is self serve rather than agreeing to bring us water knowing you won’t? Food took a very long time and was not all brought out together. Guest I was with had almost finished eating before my meal came out 20 minutes later. No staff came to check on us during the meal despite checking on the tables around us. Very bad experience would not return. Food was not worth being made to feel so unwelcome.

The staff are very cheerful, the food is delicious and the prices are more than reasonable. A scrumptious falafel and halloumi wrap with fries and a drink is a bargain at £5 and will be freshly prepared in approximately 5-6 minutes from the moment the order is taken. Comfortable, wheelchair friendly, cafe. Very good service and good atmosphere. I didn't eat but my friend had gluten free pancakes that looked lovely

Terrible food. Cake was stale, I couldn't eat it. Staff did not speak Portuguese. I was very disappointed with the experience.
