The Fox Inn in Ealing

Dropped into The Fox after a walk on Warren Farm Nature Reserve and the canal. Lovely roast chicken and beef with loads of veg and classy ice cream dessert. A very wide selection of real ale, IPAs and lagers - puts lazy pubs to shame. Nice interior attracting families and people of ages and plenty of shelter/room in the beer garden. Friendly staff and great value, a gem in lovely Hanwell.

This pub is lovely. The staff are so friendly, the food is nice. The drinks are good and well priced. Sometimes they have a singer on which is lovely. The 3 stars is purely because it has recently turned into a crèche. Horrible parents let their children run around not meaning you can't have a nice time. These kids are screaming. It's not down to the staff to tell them either. Entitled parents just ruining the atmosphere.

Shocking food, Iceland chicken burger, rubbery mash and terrible cabbage. The food here used to be excellent but on an un busy Friday it was not that I could better at home but that literally children could do better at home. The fried chicken burger was grey chicken straight from somewhere like Iceland, chips were ok but if you can’t fry chips then…… The wife’s chicken and mushroom pie was again from a packet and not as bad as the burger in fact it was edible but the mash was like rubber and the cabbage really poor, no flavour chunky hard and sloppy at the same time. It was like two batches of cabbage at different stages of cooking were chucked together. Didnt do desert but £17.00 for an Iceland burger is robbery and even dick Turpin wore a mask. The garden is great and the drinks fine but as for dinner we’ll we won’t be going there again. Shame as it used to be lovely.

Visiting my daughter from Bolton and came in for a coffee at lunch, amazing place, great atmosphere and staff are lovely so we booked for dinner, didn’t disappoint, food was amazing!

When we first walked in, I was very impressed, the team that designed the exterior seating area really impressed me, that deserves one star already. Then as we ordered our drinks and sat down, things changed quickly. There was a staff member there, he looked middle aged, but could have passed as a 28/30 year old. Bald guy, beard. He was mocking our youngest disabled son, which I found absolutely shocking. I noticed but didn’t say anything, as I was in shock for a long time. A pub so nice, to have the staff member ruin it for the business is such a let down, somewhere in the chain of command, someone let this guy have a job. He must of been related to the owner or something. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN, better yet, stay away from this pub, such a shame. It had so much potential.

Have eaten here before and was very nice . What has happened ? All of our roasts were barely warm . Roast potatoes barely cooked , veg limited and yorkshire pudding completely flat and failed to rise . I sent mine back but the second meal was worse than the first if that’s is possible . They forgot our drinks . The lemon cheesecake I ordered was not available . The hot choc fudge cake , my daughter had specifically asked if it was served hot came out cold . I spoke to the manager who never offered any explanation for the poor service and food just thanked me for my feedback ? When the bill eventually arrived my meal was removed but quite frankly all the meals were sub par I’ll not be going again

Exceptionally poor for vegetarians or vegans. Only ONE starter and ONE main amongst 10-12 other options. Nothing vegan.

Lovely lunch stop walking the Capital Ring. Great choice of beers and cider, nice seating in the garden, and lovely food.

We came here for drinks with a couple of friends, and ended up spending the evening. It has a very nice beer garden, a friendly staff, great selection of beers, special prices on drinks and a decent selection of vegetarian food. Last, but not least...

First visit since the garden has been extended and improved . Lovely outdoor booths surrounded by flowers and planters. Burgers were great and sticky toffee too! Well worth a visit.

Lovely birthday lunch at the Fox in hanwell. Excellent service for 10 of us and food and staff ensure plenty of room for a party member who uses a wheelchair. Thank you.

We went here to watch the England match which kicked off at 8pm. After spending quite a bit of money on food and drink, during the second half of the match we were told last orders and that they were kicking everyone out at 10pm....

Great atmosphere, staff prompt and courteous. Meals fab. Lovely outside area. Definitely come back when next down this way.

The Fox has always been one of our favourite pubs. Sadly on my last three visits there has not been one single vegetarian main. The service is great and the atmosphere lovely, but sadly it does not make me want to rush back there.

During a visit my mother of a substantial age fell coming out of the women’s bathrooms over a “stored away” high chair. Not a single member of staff attempted to even approach her or see if she was okay, many looked and looked away swiftly....

Beautiful pub. A repeat visit on Sat pm. Only reason not 5* is menu is a bit restricted. Food good, beer good, service really friendly.

This is a beautiful pub, the staff are so friendly, the clientele of a good calibre. We went on a Wednesday night during Eat Out to Help Out. The food was good however, they'd run out of steak and apple crumble, which was a shame....

Great little pub near the Hanwell Flights on the Grand Union Canal. Dog friendly, child friendly, just generally fruendly! Wide selection of real aleas and CAMRA pub of the year. Food is reasonably priced and good quality, even if there is a wait.Well wrth a visit.
