The drinks are generally good, however I took great displeasure at the layout of the location! There are hidden dangers, such as chain mail, which are likely to be hazardous to people carrying drinks... Drinks that took half an hour to prepare. Yes my martinis ended up on the floor. Queuing again seems too much to bare. The chastising look from the bar staff as they cleared the broken glass chilled me to my core. On the plus side my hangover might slightly lessened by this expensive mistake (martinis aren't on two for one!).maggies; a health and safety nightmare for the clumsy and drunk.

My third visit to Maggie's since I left Ealing - never visited when I lived there. Anyway it is now firmly the place to go for brunch before I head home to Yorkshire.Although the Bryan Adams is a personal favourite I was firmly focused on a healthier option.Started with the daily juice, which was beetroot, apple and carrot. Went for the poached egg with smoked salmon and coffee.A request for an additional mug of hot water was presented without fuss.Great place to meet up with friends and chill out.

Some of the orders were brought incorrect, and the staff seemed rather unfriendly and uninterested when we were looking for a few condiments. Maybe they were short staffed that day but there's never an excuse not to at least feign some friendliness to your customers. The food itself was okay, burgers lacked a bit of excitement and it wasn't close to the quality that would warrant what we were charged.

My friends and I have been here multiple times, usually for breakfast as they are one of the few places around to have an ALL DAY breakfast menu! LOVE!.... Its American Diner type setting and Menu are great (especially the Supertramp Pancakes - everything you want in breakfast piled high on one plate!).... My partner loves the music they play which is usually a bit of old school rock tunes. We always get excellent service, staff are friendly and there are some awesome alternative personalities there. Maggies is very well priced, also serves a delicous Bloody Mary for those inevitable hangovers.Only once have our poached eggs come out a little firmer than our liking but Im sure they would happily change it if we were that concerned... we didn't ask this time round as every other time it has been perfect. - Highly recommend this place :)

I liked the atmosphere here, as the decor is very vintage. Poor choice for vegetarians. I had a burger called "The Smiths" which is the only vegetarian burger option. There is a nice collection of cocktails. I had a coke float with vodka. Staff is very friendly, and talkative, but in menu they didn't have option for alcohol within coke float, and I was told I can have it, but didn't tell me a price when I asked as they didn't know and didn't bother to find out for me. I also wanted to sit in the corner where we could wear Mexican hats, but we were told it is reserved. We have been there an hour and that space was empty whole of the time, so I think it was reserved for ghosts. Also hygiene ratings are only 3, but food was tasty and portions were big.

I grew up in Ealing and have recently returned to live here. It has the usual chain restaurants along the Broadway but none of those really fitted what we were after for a reasonably priced Sunday breakfast. Ealing has the usual chain restaurants and cafes open for breakfast but those places never strike me as having any real atmosphere or soul.I'm so glad we have found Maggie's. I can't vouch that its to everyone's taste but there were at least 3 items on the breakfast menu that provoked sounds of "ooohhh and ahhhs" from me. The usual suspects on the menu - full English named as 'The Works', a veggie option of 'The Works', Eggs Benedict and good ol' porridge with bananas along with some more adventurous options such as the Kegeree (I had this and although not even vaguely traditional to the original concept of kegeree, it was none the less very tasty) and The Morrisey - avocado, alfalfa, tomato and chilli on granary toast. Our coffee was of a good quality and to have table water served as standard always curries favour in my book. The waiting staff were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was very chilled without feeling too fabricated by the surroundings and decor. Before we had ordered our food my partner and I had concluded that we liked the music a lot and were talking about coming back to sample their cocktails and milkshakes (possibly not in the one sitting!) A good mix of customers were in for breakfast when we visited - families, couples and lone diners sitting in the window. My partner and I have lived in Melbourne, Australia and both of us thought the atmosphere was very reminiscent of a Melbourne lane way cafe. Last but not least. I was pleasantly surprised that service charge was not automatically added to our bill (a real bug bear of mine). The waiting staff more than earned a tip but I was happy to be afforded the choice of rewarding the service we received. I always like the idea of supporting local, independent cafes/ restaurants and we will be returning soon to support Maggie's wonderful service and delish' food.

In all fairness my burger was very nice- much better than the other dishes. The fries were good, onion rings were very cheap, tasted frozen and should be avoided like the plague. The food was tasty with great presentation.the food took a little while to come, but we were in no hurry, far too many people now a days are almost timing how long food should take to be prepared in restaurants rather than relaxing and enjoying the moment with friends/family.Unfortunately they missed one of our parties food, the poor girl was mortified and so apologetic, we just laughed, these things happen, it’s not the end of the world, we were all busy chatting and having too much fun to be bothered over such a trivial thing. Maggie's first opened was good and had friendly staff, but when I chose to go back again I found that this place has gone terribly bad. The first thing you get when you're in is the smell, smells like pet shop, however the seating and the decoration is nice and cool. The staff are very unprofessional, unfriendly and have the worse attitude ever.We weren't greeted by our waitress who did not look professional at all, her hair messy and all over the place, totally wrong style to work in restaurant and serving food.We asked for a moment till we decide, she just walked off without saying anything. We finally ordered and the food never arrived, we asked her nicely if everything was okay with our order, she replied " one more minute, hold on!" While walking. This attitude made me just walk off this place, we had to wait for a while for the manager to come, Hanna tried to help and gave her email to contact her next time we decide to come back, sorry but I doubt we would at all. We went across the road at Bill's, much better and very nice, helpful staff.I'm very sorry about Maggie's, the name is so friendly unlike their staff. I hope you could progress and improve soon.Kind regards.

Ealing has loads of new places to eat popping up. Maggie's tries to appeal to the more youthful contingent by loading their restaurant with funky retro stuff, dimming the lighting and playing a likeable and eclectic playlist. It's a neat family friendly place but is let down by the food. I've been for breakfast and had the kedgeree which was bland and served on a rather unpleasant deep fried risotto cake whilst the full English was relatively uninspiring. The burgers are halfway decent, especially the lamb and halloumi one but overpriced and naked without sides. Why Maggie's gets 3/5 instead of 2/5 is due to it's burger deals on a Monday night. The horrific whiskey sour I had there means I won't be trying the cocktail equivalent!

Have tried maggies before a few months ago, first time round the food came cold, our hamburgers were cold and smothered with sauces. Only one choice of chips and have to order separately. It wasn't cheap. Service was not good either.I though I would give this place a second chance just to see if going another time or day would make a difference. It was very busy the music was too loud, we were sat right near the speakers. This on a Saturday lunch time around one o'clock. Sorry to say, the food wasn't good again. My daughters breakfast came and it was awful the eggs were runny and under cooked, and cold. The sausages had been re heated and the bacon was dry. My sausage breakfast bap was also cold and the sausage had been reheated, not freshly made. My niece ordered a burger, again it was Luke warm.I know May be we should have said something but frankly I did not want to wait any longer for my food. Made my mind up and will not be going there again, it is not only pricey but the food is a waste of I time. This is my first review of this place in trip advisor, I have written a review on the restaurant actual website too.

We went for a family meal, Sunday lunchtime. It was busy and very noisy. Service on the slow side. Food acceptable but pricey for what it is. Why not include chips with burgers? It is usual elsewhere. No starters, only ice cream type sweets and no bitter beer on draught.

Looks can be deceiving. From the outside, Maggie's appears to be a solid restaurant, with helpful staff and good quality food. This is far from the truth....We went to Maggie's for brunch, ordered standard breakfast food...waited over 50mins for our meal. Staff were unhelpful, constantly avoiding eye contact whilst we were waiting. The food was not worth waiting for- cold, low quality and uninspiring. If you are looking for brunch spots in Ealing, don't fooled by the exterior. Go to Cote, Bill's or Carluccio's.

Bills opposite was full so we crossed over to give Maggie's a try. Shared a veggie breakfast with my three year old- we both hated it. Lukewarm, tasteless and cheap. Service was amateurish but sweet. Only the milkshake saved it. Apparently the burgers are nice but I'd say wait for a table at Bills or if you're around in the afternoon/ evening go to Kerbisher & Malt.

Went for lunch with friend plus toddler. Menu is nice with a good selection of all-day-breakfasts and burgers, so a little American diner-ish, though it doesn't feel like it inside! The staff were really friendly and so accommodating of a toddler who can get a bit stroppy and likes to throw her crayons. Diners with kids definitely seemed to have been seated in one area too, I guess to make it more pleasant for adult groups? The food was really good. I enjoyed my lamb burger, and the other food on the table was good too. We were served promptly, though the order wasn't all correct - one of the sides was on the wrong main and we were given a side of fries that we hadn't ordered. We weren't charged for them though so overlooked it. This was probably the only negative of the meal.Overall, really good meal and nice atmosphere. Hope to return soon!

I went to maggies on Friday for a burger and cocktails with my boyfriend on Friday night. We were there for 2 hours and 20 mins and only had 2 drinks because nobody would notice us when we would wave our hand to order more. In the end it got too frustrating and we just drunk the. Bottle of water we ordered at the start. There were 3 staff working the restaurant area but only one girl seemed to be doing the working, the other 2 nattered away by the till avoiding any eye contact with the customers! A shame really as the food was better than I was expecting. I would recommend if you want a quick burger where the service doesn't matter.

Very nice pub close to Ealing Common. Both me and my wife had salmon which was perfect and delicious. Service could have been better but no serious complaints about that

Lets not mess around. This is a gem of a place. Adorned with posters and photos of some of the stars who operated out of the the Ealing Studios, it just oozes history and nostalgia. We had Sunday dinner and it was simply divine. Beef cooked perfectly along with accompaniments. Crumble and custard and a cheeseboard for pudding which was equally gorgeous. Couple of beers a bottle of wine and few glasses of port made for a perfect evening. We made a night of it, but you don't have to spend that much to enjoy the place. The staff were perfect hosts, friendly and knowledgeable. The location, the ambience, the people, the food and drinks makes this a really really special place.
