Grange Pub in Ealing

Came here with the work colleagues after a successful day! The service here was lovely, especially Neelam who was very kind and helped made our experience better. We will definitely be coming back here again!

Had a wonderful evening at The Grange.Sam, the General Manager**, was a class act, checking in on us and ensuring everything was just right. **Csilla** was superb, guiding us through the menu with fantastic recommendations. **Holly** and **Erin** were equally attentive, keeping our drinks topped up and adding to the charm of the night. Exceptional food, delightful atmosphere, and impeccable service—can’t wait to return!

OK, but certain aspects of Sunday lunch meal and service detracted from the experience. Let's start with the meal. I had a roast lamb dinner, which came with what appears to be their signature enormous Yorkshire pudding, which swamps everything else on the plate. Looked impressive, but move it to one side and I find a very small portion of shredded lamb. It's supposed to be a lamb dinner with a yorkshire pud on the side not the other way around. We almost got the impression that the stupidly large Yorkshires are there to hide the small meat portion. Next the service. When we arrived we were told that there would be a 30 minute wait for food. Big tick for managing our expectations, except that the wait was actually 55 minutes, by which time we were getting very restless. When it finally arrived the food was plonked down without a smile or an apology, and the waitress then walked off without telling us she'd gone to get the cutlery etc, leaving us wondering whether we had to find it. Finally the price. It felt quite expensive, added to which a 12.5% service charge was added for parties of 4 or more. You are serious - a party of 4 warrants an additional 12.5% charge? That's nonsense, especially when all the service we got was four plates of food plonked on our table. And of course, it's paid up front, so there is no way to argue that we didn't actually get the service we paid for. I expect management will think "we don't care - we were heaving, so must be doing something right". Maybe, but we'll look around for somewhere else next time we are visiting our family in Ealing and want to treat them to Sunday lunch.

Despite reserving a table three weeks in advance and arriving on time after I placed my order, I was told there would be at least one hour wait for service. I found this totally unacceptable and told the very friendly and understanding manager that I would be leaving. You must do better.

Roast beef Sunday dinne with cauliflower cheese and pprk stuffingr and a few Estrella with an old friend. Long wait - up to an hour - advised in advance but was worth it

Booked a table with some friends in the pub as we’ve heard their roasts were amazing. Unfortunately we were left extremely disappointed with the whole ordeal. We waited 50 minutes for our food to arrive and only after enquiring twice about it we were told there is an extensive wait for food. After the food arrived we only had 20mins to finish it as we were told the table was booked after us. There was no heads up beforehand and when we said we only just got our food, there wasn’t any apology or an attempt to move things around. I’ve been working in pubs for over 10 years and have never been treated this way - no explaination, no apology, no offer of a free drink to make up for the experience. One of my friends had to leave without having his food (mind you he ordered a soup and a dessert and still after 50mins didn’t receive it). The food was overall okay, but no gravy on a roast ?! Location and garden were lovely, but sadly we won’t be coming again.

A nice pub on the corner of Ealing Common. The service was quick and they were helpful with our dietary requirements. The food was tasty and the portion sizes were reasonable.

Staff 5/5 food & drinks 2/5 £10 for 3 mushy arancinis is not something I would recommend.. other dish received luke warm.. if you are not making it fresh at least make sure it is served well.. £7.45 for a metallic tasting pint also below expectations

Our group had hired a meeting room upstairs and a few of us ate lunch in the restaurant area downstairs. The corn and feta salad was tasty and the Cornish muscles went down a treat! Service was friendly but a little slow. In summary I recommend the food and you need to allow plenty of time for your meal.

I have used The Grange as a venue for running my workshops since 2022, and returned again this year. The Conferencing packages The Grange offer are beautifully thought-through and curated, including all day teas and coffee, a bountiful fruit platter and delicious snacks, options from their menu for delegate's lunches and even a post-workshop cocktail at the bar afterwards: all very good. But even more than this it is the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff and the warm welcome I receive that I appreciate the most. Combined with the accessible and attractive location - The Grange is a winner Trisha Lord Thinking Environment Teacher & Facilitator

Erin.T was amazing. It was all of our first time here and she showed us why to come back. Drinks always came quickly and she helped us to enjoy

Lovely chicken and thank you for allowing my two substitutions! The sauce was lovely, chicken was cooked very well, the brocollini was a little too hard though, but overall really nice food, great staff and atmosphere

Came here for the Sunday roast. The place inside is very posh and elegant. I start with 6 chicken wings seasoned with BBQ and peach sauce. Then I had the famous Sunday roast of Jacob's rib of beef. The plate was huge and full of all the ingredients. To finish I had sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Hugo the waiter who was in charge of my table is a real asset, helped me to enjoy my experience to the best standards. Will definitely come back again soon when I have the chance

Service today was rubbish i ordered steak from menu serve me wrong and then when I ask nobody solve the issue and waiting time for food today was long and waitress was very rude so really i don’t think im back here again!

Average experience- roast potatoes under done by some way, burned gravy. Some of the staff are fab, others clearly don’t want to be there. Saw a waiter wee whilst wearing his apron in a urinal. Won’t hurry back- basics just not done right.

Bit spenny , nice venue and smoking area. Roast breaks the bank can get a carvery at the kings arms for half the price. No tvs really so not ideal for sports

Great venue for a friend’s 60th, staff were friendly and accommodating, food was tasty, and the atmosphere was lots of fun! Not a bad word to say!

A super place for great food and exceptional service. Had a big birthday party here. Ben was the team member who made our evening brilliant. It is a great event the location and the venue itself is really good. All works. No complaints.

Just stopped by briefly yesterday late afternoon for a hot chocolate. Very tasty, served in a nice cup. Place was quiet which was perfect as I needed to relax for 30mns. Friendly staff. Toilet super clean. Will visit again.. :)

I had a lovely Sunday lunch (literally half a chicken!). Really friendly staff, great outdoor seating with brollies to keep the sun off us. Only 4 stars as my roast potatoes were not quite how I like them BUT I still ate them. Food was hot and tasty.

Brook was great at the bar, I will be back to this lovely pub in the future.

We had a birthday in the Common Room. It's a really nice room with its own bar. Will, who was on the bar, was really helpful and friendly so it ran really smoothly.

Lovely pub lunch, air con so cool on a hot au. Had chicken salad, very fresh and good selection of wines.

Food is good but a coffee cup of chips with your fish and chips is a liberty. No one asked us how our meal was or I would've told them.

Mr.Brook is very polite and helpful. The fish and chips sauce was curry flavored and delicious. The croquettes were also delicious. My kids were very satisfied with the hamburger and orange sorbet. Next time I'd like to try the Sunday roast and salmon.

I recently visited the Grange and was blown away by the exceptional manager Maria 😀 From the moment we walked in, it was clear that we were in for a top-notch experience. Maria greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome, setting a positive tone right from the start. Their attention to detail and genuine care for the customers made us feel valued and at home. It’s rare to find such dedication in the hospitality industry. Thank you guys for making our visit so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

My daughter treated me to a Sunday roast here. Great food lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. There's a lovely garden area to sit in too when the sun is shining. Will definitely visit here again.

Lovely little place, amazing roast dinner on a a Sunday and weekdays we opt for the fish and chips never disappointed. Also very child friendly, with a nice calm atmosphere.

We were here on Sunday evening and Sehaj welcomed us in a very polite and friendly way it's lovely person and also he's very good in customer service the food is very tasty, specially the pan fried salmon, thank you, we will back.

All the family enjoyed a buffet lunch in the Summer House to celebrate a big wedding anniversary. The food was good, and all the staff very helpful. Liam was our dedicated server and was very attentive and friendly.

Amazing atmosphere & great service. We went there for the Euro final match and they were very accommodative by moving our table to somewhere to see the screen.

I would say this is a good place for hosting birthday celebrations and the food tastes nice, in my opinion. We may come back another time, thanks for your appreciation to let us host our birthday celebration for my youngest sibling!

Lovely place however it was difficult finding a table for two but the kind staff allowed us to drink in the restaurant. Too many large sofas and half the pub is taken over by some games room. This is a Youngs pub and the wines are very expensive. Great service by staff.

The most elegant local pub around Ealing Common. A bit upmarket, yet appreciated by the locals. Great outdoors and Summer Room for special events.

Really lovely pub with a cosy atmosphere. The waitress was lovely and attentive. The only downside was that the roast dinner could have been hotter.
