The Four Seasons Bistro & Bar in Highland

Really enjoyed our evening here. We were staying in the Corran Bunkhouse and so walked down, it took us about 5 minutes. We should have taken a torch as there were no streetlights but the incredible dark sky and stars on the walk made up for us not being able to see where we were walking! We had a lovely welcome, the owner and chef was very helpful with my annoying food intolerances, the fire was cosy and it was full of other groups of walkers. The food was tasty and generous sized portions. Will return on my next trip to the area. They said there'd be a fairly long wait as they were busy but it didn't feel too bad. Consider booking ahead on a weekend.

Alan didn't play warzone with me however I loved the food and in a great area of London for the kids.

With a group of friends staying at the Corran Bunkhouse (an easy walk from Inchree). We went to the Four Seasons for drinks on Friday night and food and drinks on the Saturday night (as we have done for the last 13 years!). As ever the welcome was warm, the food excellent, the fire hot and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. Well worth dropping in if you are in the area. Can’t wait to be back next year.

The four seasons is a very welcoming huge log cabin with a central fire place that gives off a great heat . Food is really tasty and the bar has a good selection of beers, wine, whiskey and gins.

First visit to this bar & restaurant. A group of 7 and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The staff were very friendly and the service super efficient. Nice atmosphere. Booking is advisable as the place was very busy. Would definitely dine there again.

Absolutely could not fault one thing with our tea this aft. Excellent service, excellent food and a proper good atmosphere. If you want to know how to run an establishment you could do worse than come here for a crash course.

Had drinks outside on a beautiful day. Not cheap! Unfortunately the opening hours are limited, so did not have the opportunity to eat here.

I’m sure it’s a very nice restaurant serving good food but their flexibility leaves a lot to be desired.we went in on the off chance of some food but were told there was nothing available unless a booking was made.

We hadn't booked and were lucky to get a table as we were there as soon as the restaurant opened. It was worth it as we had a very tasty meal.

We were staying at Glendevin and this gem was just around the corner. Bit like a large skiing lodge and the food was excellent. Brilliant staff and good ales.

We walked over from a nearby B&B a couple of times and were welcomed without a reservation. The dining room is attractively decorated and has a log fireplace. The staff is young, friendly, and competent. Both times we ate here the food was of good quality, well-prepared and (what I like best) piping hot!

Homemade cooking as you would expect here, friendly staff as well as having a nice homely feel. Would recommend the fish pie although other selections looked just as good.

Me and my wfe stopped in the lodges here, for 3 nights, and were joined by 6 friends for 2 of the nights. We always had a warm welcome at the bar, and they were very helpful in sorting out a table for 8. It is very wise to book in advance, it gets a bit busy. There is not a large selection on the menu, but what we all had was nicely prepared and cooked. The steak pie, lasagne, and fish and chips were the most popular. Nice beers, and great selection of malts. Its just a pity the bar was not open earlier to sample them...

This is a nicely located place, the service was excellent. We had dinner there, were not that hungry so only ordered starters. The salmon was delicious and the portion generous. The soup was excellent.

An evening meal after a long day touring, it was just what we needed. Recommended by the Bunree Caravan and Motorhome Club staff, it was a short walk and an evening well spent.

This charming pub has a very warm and friendly staff. Traditional Scottish fare at reasonable prices. The fish and chips is amazing. Our waitress highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding, and I'm so glad she did. She was right, you have to try it!

El personal era un poco "estricto" cuando llegamos temprano y preguntamos por los menús y no nos trajeron una factura después, lo que significaba que un par de nuestro grupo en realidad se olvidó de pagar (aunque aquellos de nosotros seguimos allí solucionados) esto para ellos). The restaurant was nice and quiet when we got there around 6pm so we got a table right next to the open fire which was blazing away nicely. The food was good and the service prompt. Would definitely visit again.

This place became our local for 3 nights when we stayed at Lochview Guesthouse which was opposite. Friendly staff and good food.

Warm, cozy atmosphere with very good pub type food. The chicken liver pate was excellent. The roast duck was an unusual offering in a pub and it was quite tasty.

We spent two nights in Onich and had our dinner here every night. Just a short walk from Lochview Guest House. Fantastic!

Un des meilleurs dîners de notre séjour en Écosse! Soupe maison délicieuse, plats vraiment très bons mon mari avait pris le poulet au curry bien relevé beaucoup de gouts ...l ambiance est assez bruyante mais pas désagréable non plus, service correct. Venir pour la qualité de la cuisine et le cadre! Menu enfant pas cher du tout à moins de 5 livres!

Il y a 3 restaurants où l'on mange bien proche de Corran Bunkhouse (quand nous y sommes allés, le restaurant juste à côté était fermé et celui accessible via le ferry, c'était trop tard). The Four Season Bistro & Bar est accessible à pieds en 5/10 minutes. Nous sommes allés manger en fin de journée et c'était très agréable. Nous y avons mangé du poisson (fish and chips pour les enfants et saumon pour les parents). c'était bon, copieux et le service était très bien. Le côté pub avait l'air sympa mais nous n'avons pas testé.

Based on reviews we headed here for dinner. M daughter is coeliac and the staff had a great knowledge of what was available on their menu and the chef even offered some additional choices.

We arrived without booking but found a table right away. Real ale and reasonably priced menu in pleasant decor.

The location of the restaurant is such that it doesn't have much competition in the evening. We thought the service a bit disappointing and the food was OK.

We have eaten here before and were happy with the food and service, today however the service was v dry poor and the food very basic. The menu quite limited. There appeared to be two inexperienced waitresses unable to provide service. One more person was constantly having to prompt them to deal with customers. My husband asked for a pint of bitter and was told " I don't drink I don't know which is bitter". my drink was served and about five minutes later my husbands drink arrived. We ordered the food no explanation of the dishes of the day, she had difficulty understanding what the dishes were. The food which was served by the more experienced person was adequate, although my husband's steak pie was tough. The customer at the next table asked for Diet Coke and was roughly given a closed can and a glass.

A ladies night at the Bistro. We booked early, around 6.30pm. The service was excellent and the food was great. We all had something different. I had the soup which was very tasty and served with a good portion of bread and butter. Everything arrived on time and piping hot. We shared the puddings. The sticky toffee pudding was a hit. It can get very busy that's why we go early and also book ahead for that reason. I recommend you give it a shot.

We were staying at the Caravan Club site across the road and the Four Seasons was the local recommendation. Being out of season we thought it would be relatively quiet. How wrong we were. We drove up to find little space in the car park and even less space inside. It was heaving and we were concerned they were going to turn us away as we hadn’t booked. Eventually we were given a bar type table as the restaurant was full and this is where the ‘bit uncomfortable’ comes in. Partly how we were seated, partly where we were seated and lastly how we were greeted and attended made us feel uncomfortable. This may also have had something to do with the boisterous nature of the other diners which generally made us feel like interlopers.

This great pub was just across the A82 from our guesthouse. The food was SO good. We ate dinner there three or four times and never had anything that wasn't delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful. I wish I had such a place nearby my house in the USA!

Das Four Seasons hat neben einem Pub auch ein integriertes Restaurant. Auf einer Übernachtung im Ort haben wir das Restaurant besucht. Personal ist freundlich und flott. Die Karte ist recht überschaubar, aber das Essen war super lecker und preislich voll okay. Das lokale Bier ebenfalls sehr lecker. Manchmal etwas laut. Ab halb neun war es voll, dann lieber reservieren.

Belle surprise que ce Bistro & Bar, nous avons diner la bas car notre logement d'une nuit était proche. Service impecable et repas délicieux. Visiblement, il est préférable de reserver avant.

We had a lovely meal in the bar. Our dog was allowed in with us which was great. The food was reasonably priced, well served and decent portions.

Staying in the area and popped in here with our family for a drink. Lovely helpful staff and friendly atmosphere so we stayed for a meal. Food was great, freshly cooked pub food classics. Popped back a second time and really enjoyed it again, classics include fish and chips, Balmoral chicken, steak pie etc. Several vegetarian dishes too. The prices are reasonable, would recommend trying here, lovely coal fire too! Will come back if we are in the area again.

Visited on the last night of a 3 day walking break. Convivial atmosphere, super friendly staff, great food, good beer. Our food was a bit delayed so they brought us a pint on the house which I’ve never experienced before. Would definitely recommend.

We visited both nights of our stay at the Inchree lodge which are on site. The Staff are very friendly and make your visit an enjoyable one. Good range of beers and spirits and menu. While we didn't book a table we were happily squeezed in. We have visited here for six years and judging by the numbers dining each night the restaurant is becoming increasingly popular and it might be safer to consider booking a table in advance.

Quality of food could not be faulted. Excellent but bar service for drinks was a little slow even though it was quiet and a little pricey hence 4

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and serves good food. Not necessary to make a reservation in our case.

Been coming here for quite a few years, when staying on the caravan site across the road. Food just keeps getting better and better. Staff are always polite and accommodating. Dog friendly in the bar area. Would highly recommend 😊

We ate and drank here during an overnight stay at the Incree Chalets that form part of this complex. The well-stocked bar offered an excellent draught Cairngorm ale and the food and service left nothing to be desired. I had slow roasted pork belly accompanied by mediterranean veggies, dauphinoise potato cake and a haggis fritter. My wife had salmon. All delicious and the portions very generous. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended.

Called into Four Seasons Bar with my husband, two kids and our Springer Spaniel this evening for dinner- after eating at the Onich hotel on Saturday night (awful) we weren't expecting much- however we were very pleasantly surprised- the food was amazing and home cooked - not just the usual pub grub (nuked in the microwave) the staff were fab- very helpful and attentive - will definitely be going back- can't recommend it enough.

We had been driving the NC 500 and, after a long stretch this day from Aultbea, we checked into our B&B.; This was the closest restaurant for dinner, and we weren't going to be picky. We showed up early, just before the restaurant opened for dinner so had a pint at the bar while we looked over the menu. I was in the mood for something light for a change, so I had the quiche. My husband had the braised lamb shanks. We enjoyed both.

18 of the Suffolk Mavericks Mountain Team were staying nearby and after long days climbing and rafting the poor dears needed to eat heartily, drink heavily and let of enough steam to power the Hogwarts Express and so we headed to the Four Seasons to make a nuisance of ourselves. The welcome from both the staff and owner was warm and friendly and the grub was lovely, after a few small sweet sherries we asked if we might play a couple of tunes and sing some songs and they foolishly allowed us, what followed was two nights of the best type of party (Unplanned) Thank you so much for suffering us, we had a great time

Attended on recommendations and on viewing Tripadvisor comments. Staff were excellent on initial attendance and food arrived quickly. Unfortunately the food was not as good as it looked. The Thai curry was very diluted and watery and the haggis staffed chicken was dry and over cooked. When asked I made this comment and got a sorry about that reply and that was it. Chicken had obviously been under the heat for a while making it really dry and chewy. Premises do serve great drinks and have friendly staff however food was disappointing.

Our landlady at the B&B suggested we eat here.We wanted simple,tasty,homecooking in a casual restaurant.We got it! The atmosphere is that of a pub.The food was hot,fresh and delicious, and the staff very friendly and efficient.We had a lovely drink in the sunset outside when we finished our meal.We were so chilled and satisfied! We would have gone back but had to leave the following day.Next time.

This is a hidden gem it was down the road from where we stayed we came back late one night from the Isle of Skye and I phoned to ask if they were still serving and they said they would stay open for us but we got there in time the food was lovely we came here twice during our holiday found it a bit late the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough even tho they were busy, can't recommend them highly enough it's a bit hidden but you can see their accommodation from the main road, this place would be a regular on our list if we lived here.

The food is excellent it takes a while but it is fresh and hot. I can recommend the steak pie, it's delicious.

You could easily drive past and not notice this place, just off the main road at Inchree, just after the ferry and before the caravan and motor home club camp site. There are rooms for accommodation here too. The staff were friendly and when the fire is on the place is lovely and cosy. The food is really good. You can have the normal pub style food at reasonable prices, I can recommend the Brie starter with plum chutney and fish and chips, mains are from £9.95 to around £15.

We were visiting Fort William and Onich for the weekend and found this little place after searching online for somewhere nearby to eat. We were pleasantly surprised by the service, surroundings and then blown away by the amazing food! We both opted for the Crispy Coconut Praws with Sweet Chilli Sauce for starter, wow! I've never tasted praws so fresh and the coconut batter was just incredible! For main, we had Pork Belly, again, wow! Succulent pork that fell apart, crispy black pudding and daupinoise potatoes. Honestly, probably the best meal I've ever had. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food. The staff were lovely and attentive, very helpful. This place is a credit to Inchree, I wish I could eat here every week!

This meal was to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary. We were not disappointed. We read the reviews and chose this place as it was welcoming and inviting. There was a roaring fire on and the staff could not be more helpful. Even the drinks choice was great as there is an extensive choice of Fentimans drinks too!Food was plentiful and very well cooked. I worked in the catering trade for 10 years, so it has made me quite fussy! Main course was beautifully seasoned and well cooked too/we had belly pork. Too füll for pudding! We enjoyed our evening very much. Thank you.

Trip advisor needs a good rating, because this place is good, not very good, but certainly good. The food is good, the service is good, and the prices are average. It was a very rainy cold night but the large fireplace sat in the middle of the dining room unlit, that would have been such a welcome treat.

We were staying at the Bunree Caravan Club site and decided to eat here as it's very near to the campsite. All the food is cooked to order but we didn't have to wait for long for either our delicious starters or our very good main courses. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Well worth visiting if you are in the area.

And this was just the place.Good food, friendly staff, and prices were good as well.Latte, tea, Lamb Shank, Fish and Chips, pork with apple sauce. Not all for me, but that was the variety we had between us.

Great restaurant just 2 minutes away from GlenDevin B&B, which was great after climbing Ben Nevis and not having the strength to go anywhere else.

We stumbled upon this place after hiking Inchree Falls and were looking for a restroom. We returned that night to a wonderful dinner of lamb. The service was great and everyone was very attentive. The locals in the bar were very friendly. This is not far from Glencoe and Ballachulish.

Very good! The atmosphere was very Scottish and homely. I had the house special (duck that night) and my wife had the beef steak pie, we both loved it very much! Had a large selection of beer. Would come back if in the neighborhood. Ps right next to a waterfall hike.

We came to this pub after a long day hiking in the rain, so admittedly any food would have been great. However, the food here was absolutely perfect -- hearty, delicious, and with the right amount of "comfort." The pub had a standalone fireplace, which was very welcoming, and the staff were a delight. We also really enjoyed the selection of beers. All and all, I was thrilled to have stumbled upon this gem.

When locals eat at a nearby restaurant, that speaks volumes. We were not to be disappointed. The wife had Duck and Cherry Sauce and I had American Grilled Chicken.Not a scrap left. Attentive staff and food served hot.

The only person attending the bar apologised as he had to show another customer to a room. I then had a 10 minute wait until another person arrived to enquire if they could help after which I was given a menu & asked to take a seat. As there were only 1/2 dozen people eating, I shudder to think what it would be like if busy. The food was reasonable but not outstanding, prices average. A smile from the barman would certainly have helped, he looked as happy to be there as I was. The areas I was in were spotlessly clean.

Part of a group booking who made a reservation 6 weeks ago. The booking was for 25 covers and we were asked to be there at 7:30 for 8:00pm. All the party were there for 7:30 and seated before 8:00pm. Our first course was brought to the table at 8:55pm. Apparently the chef decided to take all other bookings before he started to our meal. Not only that but we had actually all pre booked our choices. The waiting staff seemed uninterested and a bit lethargic. The only upside to this experience was that the food was surprisingly good and reasonably priced.

Visited here with family to start we had the haggis bonbons, chicken goujons and chicken liver pate, we then had pork belly and black pudding fritter x 2 and the vegetable quiche, the food here is very nice it would be much improved if they did home cooked chips, the portions are generous, the staff were very friendly and service was good, I would recommend.
